Cool, yeah it depends on several factors how long it takes to dry. When I have dried for 3 weeks, its been too long generally, and they end up a little on the dry side. Thankfully the sun came out with some wind and started the drying process again today. It was mostly cloudy early on though, its tough drying these out in the high humidity. I think it was at 70% or more all day.
The flower at my house still won't burn real well because it has some moisture. I jarred it up once the stems snapped, but they still had some interior moisture. It talks about in that post about harvest and cure process that you want the flower to dry evenly and not be dry on the outside with moisture on the inside.
I was cutting them up a lot initially and hanging them on coat hangers, but started running out of time, so I did it how I usually do it with larger branches like yours. It does help the curing process, plus its less work.
Some of the flower was so dense though, it had to be cut up. I will have to document with some photos the DC x Las Vegas Purple Kush x Hindu Kush becuase its so incredibly dense. Will have to check on those, maybe try smoking one again for a Friday night special, hopefully its dry.
