A couple seedlings look like they have multiple plants/embryos in one seed. Is that possible?

Yes it is! Congratulations, you got twins.

I thought it was, intersting. The Uzbekistani IBL looks like it has more of the multiple embryo seed, and also a couple stunted or mutant. Flats are looking good for the most part. Had them out in the late afternoon until dark today and gave them a sprig of water since it was warm enough. Trying to stay with the natural photoperiod as much as possible.

Planted a few more lettuce and cantelope and yellow straightneck summer squash in flats to get things going. Going to be a learning curve this ear. Hope to get everything in the ground sooner than later.

Weather should be cool and dry, so may be able to open up the vegetable garden. Herb patch needs some time to cover a bit more before digging. Who knows when the last frost is. They have some tolerance for it though, some crops do anyway, I know cannabis does.

Acts 5:26-32 NKJV

26 Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, 28 saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”

29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

Yeah its a little rough on a couple of them sometimes, but it works well. I have a lot of experience, and used to work at a propagation nursery.

This way I get more plants in a small germination flat, and they have more room to spread roots.

Have 2 good looking volunteers the same age at the garden! That means I'm right on track! Getting some warm weather this week, so hold on to your hat. Will get some shots of them up in a few. :smoke:

Rock and roll , got the garden planted already! Thank you God! Had a bunch of branches and leaves on the garden this year so there may be a few less volunteers. I looked around and I think that's it, but there could be more.

Thankfully the native brush around the garden is growing in, looking at getting these planted in the ground thee weekend after next. :smoke:

Planted seed March 26. Had some issues with overwatering, fluctuating temperatures dipping below 50 F , and underfertiliziation.
Transplanting to stage 2 with a 1:20 ratio fertilized media according to the directions. Too easy to overwater. Hope they pull out. Anything else I'm missing?

They actually look pretty good, just perked up after several days of sun and warm conditons, and once I finally let them dry down.

The seed (coteledon) leaves are starting to yellow and even purple one some of them. Does anyone have experience with this at this stage starting out early. Its been cool.

Doing better! Keeping them warm today. High of 43F and cloudy, going down to 33F tonight! Will be sunny and 61F tomorrow and back up to 80F Thursday!

Was up past 10PM last night getting these moved to stage 2! Indoor growing is fun. Living in a greenhouse now! :smoke:
