How about a couple more shots of my little insect buddy. Not sure if its a pest or not. Looks like a cricket or grasshopper. Weather looks up in the air for now. May pull some tops wednesday if the rain increases, but they say its low confidence in the weak front. Hoping to make it through to next week before having to harvest! I think we can make it! I've harvested early for a few years now, and its annoying after enjoying finished flowers going to the earlier crop harvests which have less medical value. Have to let them go until the resin is ripe if possible. :smoke:

Thanks stewart! God hears our prayers. He can do what we can't. Trust in God!

Plants were looking good yesterday. Didn't get as much rain out at the garden, so thats good. Still got about 0.4-0.5 inches rain. Spent some time getting the mold out. Had to cut a few tops. I tried to take out as little as possible to let them ripen. Got a few new shots for ya to check out.

Looks like another inch of rain is coming wednesday. I'd like to let them go another week or 2. Temps are going to take a dive, so I may end up taking some tops that have had mold points as a precaution. Buds are ready. They can be picked about anytime now! :smoke:

Plants are still out. Starting to see some really neat purple patterns on the leaves and on one plant purple calyxes! I'm thinking its may be about time to bring them in. Getting frost the next couple nights, and monday its supposed to freeze! Rain hasn't been too bad. Its been raining a little, but they have time to dry out. Mold has been manageable, so I could keep them going if they make it through the freeze. The long range forecast looks dry for the rest of october! That would be nice! I think it will be too cold for the plants to do too much. Its probably best to leave them out to let the resin all ripen.

Had a couple plants cut like Tycomonolith did. I had this critter doing damage last couple years. I think its fitting through the fence! Need to put up chicken wire too next year! Is it mice, rabbits. Thankfully they only got 2 plants and I got out there when I did. Need to check on them every couple days. Spread some liquid fence granular repellent and my dog spread his scent around the area. The little varments are watching the site. They seem to stay away when I'm there more often. Rain washes away my scent, and seems to bring on activity. Maybe they smell the seed or resin? These mice have good taste!

Going to play it by ear. They will be alright on a 32F night right? From what I remember its around 28F they start to get injury. They're in a slightly protected area.

How about a couple budshots?

The way you fence, I'd get 1/4 inch hardware cloth and line/circle your fence with it. A mouse wouldn't fit through it.

Below freezing is ok as long as it's only a few hours in the morning. I think Indica has a better tolerance but what do I know. I have some out that got good frost a couple nights and the only thing it did was force the plants to say "I'm ready to harvest now."

Enjoyed watching your grow this year.

Thanks. I never could figure out what was chewing the plants. Makes sense its mice. They really like the seed I know. I'm sure they smell it.

Will have to get some of that mesh soon so it has some time to age outside this winter.

God is with us! Move forward in God's rightousness and he will fulfill all that He promised in His Word. Its harvest time! Got my chores done! Weather has really shut down this week! Another freeze warning tonight. Its been frosting every day, after being in the 80s just a few days ago! It was time to bring them home.

Mold was minimal, so I learned to be patient and let them ripen. It just takes a little more time to inspect and prune out mold. Got a headlamp finally. On harvest night, I went to use it for the first time and when I put the batteries in, I saw a key piece was missing that transmits power from the batteries. Made in China. Those poor people, they really don't have passion for what they do. They're stuck making a stupid light all day and barely making a dime. Been praying for them.

Really impressed with all the plants this year. This line is proving to be stable for medical use. I like this one with purple calyxes. Has less indica influence. Its a soft, sweet smelling bud with a good mild skunky spice. Potency is great, but I like more indica influence in the smoke. It will be a nice plant in the mix though since all the others are greasy chunky indicas. Its always nice to have a little diversity! Helps reduce tolerance build-up.

Just rotating the buds every couple days and I get to relax! Have plenty of medicine now for my brother with multiple sclerosis! God has really blessed us here! Can't wait to see how the seed does next year with the champion male! Will be analyzing the buds and picking a couple of the best for planting seed next spring!

Thanks for stopping by! How about a few views from harvest? What do you say?

Thanks Jonnifly! Had to use some patience and had to trust the mold wouldn't get too bad. I was surprised they did so well through the storms.

I let them dry an extra couple days past a week. Usually I let them dry for 2 to as much as 3 weeks before jarring, but there has been abnormally cold air around which is more dry than usual. The buds got a little too dry, but I would rather it be that way than too much moisture and a potential for mold. I don't have time to burp them every day, so I let them dry a little more. Was able to stuff more into the jars this time with the flowers being drier.

Have some good news! Found the sativa candy spice pheno again! Its a beautiful and loud resin profile, strong potency, and dense flowers with less leaves on this one. Cant wait to see what shows up next season with the champion male pollination! All the plants have good resin this year. House indica pheno is showing of course! Will try to get some shots and a smoke report going soon!

Glad to be able to rest now! Jars are in the ground all safe and sound! Thank you God! :smoke:

Are you planning to become a hemp farmer?

Yeah I am considering it, and I have a small business I can use for seed money to launch the farming operation! I think I will wait a few years 2-3 at least may be 5 or 10 because I don't trust the government, they were just locking people up and taking property over this plant, brother!

Also united nations still has the controlled substances act including cannabis. I don't know what status hemp is, but I am going to sit it out for a while because the world is fighting for its life trying to have non corrupt leaders who are pro- national soverignty.

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas as we celebrate our Prince of Peace, Emmanuel! God is with us!
