Got about an inch of rain! Perfect! Needed a good soaking to settle the soil especially the mounds. Timing is perfect to allow the surface roots to regrow and not dry out! Several spots around here got 2-4 inches just in a couple hours! Just have to trust in Gods plan. No matter how bad things get. Everything IS perfect, He made it! Should be seeing some good growth this week! Stay tuned guys! Thanks for following along with the gardens this year!

Drying things down. It was sunny and 91 F today! After a good inch day before yesterday. The afternoon hot sun is blocked by trees, so they don't really get stressed by really hot days. Should be making up for all those rainy, cloudy days. This calls for a smoke...

Finishing the last of the chem dog. Our friends who grew it in Cali are out now so down to 1 good 2 inch bud. Has such a good smell. Have plenty of leafy tops to smoke now, not the greatest, but with a little male plant bubble hash on there, its not bad at all. Good enough for me.

Tomorrow should be another hot day with another dose of rain. Let it rain! Helps surge growth if they aren't drowning.

Yeah they do! They haven't been in drought stress once. Wish we had a bit more sun earlier on. Rain missed us today. Clear skies are forecast for a few days and good temps. The roots will have plenty of air now and should hopefully spread out. Root growth= bud growth.... Stay tuned! :smoke:

Ahhh crisp clear skies have moved in, and it feels like early fall! The plants noticed and grew well this week! A little disease again, but not as bad. Pulled off all leaves with bad disease symptoms. If in doubt, prune it out!

They loved the soil piled around the stem, saw some roots forming in them on plot 2. That inch of rain after breaking up crust was perfect. They not only tolerated it, they loved it! :)

Beautiful day today. God's rewarding us for making it through the stormy season. Everything is crystal clear now.... We are able to rest as long as we remain in His presense, His grace! Check out a few views from the garden! Thanks for stopping in today! Enjoy! :smoke:

It is like magic watching the weather systems, the plants, the good bugs in the soil play out each day. Love going to visit the secret gardens. Thanks Rooster!

Since the 2nd topping, some plants have grown their main branches about 2 feet. Hoping for another foot this week. Tallest plant is now over 5 ft.

Yeah the timing with the dry weather worked out perfect, getting a good stretch in! I think opening up the crust really helped get air to the roots, and allowed the water to escape. It was great, we got an inch the day after working the soil, so it was very little stress on the plants!

They have plenty of moisture built up in the soil, maximizing growth and development! Don't blink! :smoke:

Haha cool! Yeah they really like treats! She got a little biscuits and gravy after the hike this morning. She worked it off though, was hunting for moles and we hiked about 2.5 miles. Thats a good walk for a dauchound. Actually we ran about 2 miles of it! :smoke:
