Good grow, I am wondering about how big/deep your holes are, I jumped in for harvest.

I grow in CO but I rent so I have to do it at relatives place. They don't appreciate the overpowering smell so I still grow outside for the most part. I do my legal 3 in a fenced rural area, just saw 10 elk last time I was there.

Would love to buy a house in the hills and do hoop houses for pot and other gardening.

Thanks deft! The plots were entirely dug, hole by hole to loosen all the soil in the plot to about 1.5 feet depth. With 3 plants you can yield a whole lot, but if it rains it will be really hard to manage. Hoop houses would be perfect. I would have them up in the spring while its cold. Leave them open all summer, then cover them back up during flowering.... Would probably double yield on a moist year where mold is bad if you can just cover them up in flowering.

I ripped my work bag lining using smaller buckets and an ice scraper to stir.... Not sure if the hash is going to be good. Some of it looks decent, but some has too much green pulp. No worries, plenty of buds to go in the jars... Thats where its at. Hash made from moldy buds sometimes has a little off flavor or makes you cough.... I like smoking buds. The way nature intended it....

Have to get the buckets in the ground. Weather is better. Should be jarring the drying line in a couple days... Granulated buds on the shelf inside are ready to jar I'm sure.... Had more rain yesterday and Friday evening. It was about 50 F high yesterday. The season is basically over. A few days of warm left, but it would have been higher risk of mold if I waited much longer. Good call Pipeline. Smoke is good this year! Got quite a few compliments already.... Seed is good and ripe because of the warm weather during flowering. Plenty to fill the jars.. No problem man!

Thanks God for teaching us, building us up, making us stronger. Help us to show Your Love to the world, so that others may know You and feel your presence in our lives. Thank you Jesus, for your sacrifice, showing us the real power of God's Love. Thank you! :smoke:

Thanks Buddle! I know it, I have seen the weather lately and it hasn't been as bad here as some other places. There are periods of wet, but its not usually much rain and the sun and wind tends to dry them down. Sometimes its better to wait to cut. Its hard to dry when its raining, and as a living plant their defenses against mold will be working. They would have held up fine I bet, I just got frustrated with mold. In the future I'm going to try to cheat it as late as I can, just have to work for it on wet years like this...

Glad to hear your garden is doing well! Keep it going if ya can! :smoke:

congrats on getting some good smoke in pipe. its been a long hard year for me as well. between the rippers, snails,Cats and mother nature did me in pretty good. i learned another good lesson this year with pest control. i stopped spraying neem oil when i first seen the hairs pop out on my plants. next year i will be using converse Sc which is like 12% spinosad and i will spray azasol till around week 2 of flower. i will also be using those sluggo pellets for those fkn snails. im also gonna be doing some Kc-33 and Ledo uno which from what i have read is almost a guerantee not to mold. i really like the smell and flavor of my organic buds and i will admit that it produces alot more tasty and smelly weed then my plots with syntheics. i did lose some weight compared to the syntheics but i think it makes up for it. my personal headstash strains will be grown in organic from here on out. i cant wait for next year already lol gonna be doing super lemon haze, blueberry headband(great strain u should try it) and cheese candy in living soil. im gonna be re-amending my soil around mid FEB that way it will have plenty of time for the fish meal, gypsum, alfalfa meal, lobster compost and crab meal to be broken down really good. im also gonna buy some those 20 gallon geo pots and try a few plants like that since i have always been a in the ground type guy.

Hash is dry. You can see the green tint. I'm sure its worse since I was using a couple day old trim. Wore the bubble bag though, so I learned a lesson to only use round buckets and a spoon, not cat litter square buckets with an ice scraper. It worked really well to stir it up though. :smoke:

Oh yeah, should last through a few snow storms. I have a little more not pictured from earlier runs. Just a couple grams worth. Threw a lot of good trim and molded flowers in there, glad its not lost. Smoking some on a pipe. Have to put it down after you get a good taste... :smoke:

Alright, time to relax! Took a lot of work, but the crop is jarred up and in the ground. Its so dry right now, its really hard to dig! Got 20+ stuffed jars this year! The smoke isn't bad, but its not up to par. I'll know better than to crop this early next year! Thinking I'll be making some brownies and oatmeal with it. Hope I don't over do it.... :smoke:

Would love to buy a house in the hills and do hoop houses for pot and other gardening.

That makes two of us.

Same thing I rent a place and it's not really feasible to grow here, so I had my plants at a friends farm which was about a 90 minute drive from my place, talk about inconvenient! Ah well it's all good... someday.

Awesome grow Pipe! Nothing like jars full of sungrown herb! Enjoy those long puffs brodah! :)

Did you ever consider bringing some soil in? A bale or two of peat moss and some perlite, or some promix might help in the future during those rainy days... even some coco should help!

Maybe a few different strains more mold resistant could help ya too! Those indicas have a hard time surviving the swamp! I like a good early hybrid is a good choice!

Hope you dont mind some suggestions, growing outdoors is very non-forgiven and a mistake can hold you back for the whole year, lots of lessons to be learned on this long journey! I find it best to learn from other peoples mistakes in order to avoid making them myself. :)

Anyways, everything looked beautiful and I'm happy you got enough herbs to get you through till next harvest time! :)

Peace brethren!

Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed my garden this year! Had some ups and downs, it was good. Plenty of good smoke for the year! I have thought about bringing in a couple strains and have had a couple suggestions, but I really like my plants. The flowering season wasn't the wettest ever, but it was wet enough to do damage. I know these genetics perform well most seasons. Would be good to get some different flavors going on though. The garden's not in a full on natural wetland area, its in a small low area that is dry most of the time. More of a field/woods setting. Hopefully next year we can move the garden to my backyard!!!! Legalization has to be getting close. :smoke:

I don't bring soil amendments in to reduce the risk of getting seen. I keep it as minimal as possible. They grew well thats for sure! When I dig next year I'll mound them up tall again to help drainage. This was a record wet year, so not too worried about it.

Had a hard freeze this morning at the garden. Around 27 degrees. Yesterday morning was a freeze too. Had a frost Thursday or Friday. Season just closed in on me. Looking forward to looking through the buds and seeing which I want to grow. Going to go after a couple phenos next year! I wish I could have finished them. I know what they were going to do... :smoke:

Might get a couple other strains in there to mix things up a bit... Have all winter to think about it... Hoping Hill Temple Collective will have some seed available for next season. :smoke:

Been some really good smoke. I spent a lot of hours picking through salvaging the good flowers and it paid off! Need to inspect again this weekend, but everything in jars has been mold free so far! Going out riding the dirtbike this weekend. Gonna help a friend get some wood. Let the dogs run for a bit...

Life is good. God is great! Because God gives, we give...

Went on a riding trip last weekend in the appalachians, and I met a fellow named Breezy. He is hanicapped/disabled and can't walk. He happened to have a screw in his tire and needed to get it fixed when I was at a friend's garage. He had such a positive attitude and had a kind word to say. Said the only time he gets out of his car is to go in to church. God Bless ya Breezy.... So many kind folks down there... :smoke:

Been inspecting and burping the jars just once per week. They smell like they're curing, no mold! Hoping a good cure will make up for being picked a little early. The smoke is great really, just not quite as potent as it could be. Everyone likes the taste.

Beautiful afternoon today. Air was dry so we went to go smell some jars. :smoke:
