Looks awesome man.

Thanks! I am really blessed! Caught the wave and the plants are gaining momentum! We have some rains coming this week with chances every day through the 7 day period, so the fertilizer will be getting watered in on time! Can't wait to see the plants respond and smile!

Strain is starting to become acclimated to the local climate! Been going for 10 years now since the original crosses! :smoke:

nice pipeline, you filled properly the plot this year :).

Thanks! Yes sir! Continuous canopy disguises the shape of the plants. They mesh in with native vegetation and look like natural planting if you plant them irregularly and top early to mid june. Have a good weekend, brother! :smoke:

Not sure what how serious this is. Some sort of foliar disease only on upper 2 sets of of leaves and new growth. I think its bacterial blight.

I think what led to it was I worked the soil and top dressed after it had been wet for a while and there were some surface roots torn up. Then it didn't rain much at all and was hot with high humidity!

Will go out in the morning to treat the leaves with Serrinade biofungicide If its bacterial, what can I apply? Going to make sure they get watered. Rain has been in the forecast, but has been real spotty. I thought they had got some. Its just perfect conditions for diseases. Disease triangle is completed. Susceptible host present, pathogen spores available, environment conducive to disease means there will be disease. It was so wet then turned dry and hot. Just a combination of issues causing foliar disease. I am thinking they will grow out of most of the disease damage. Some growing points were affected by another disease I had last year on 1 or 2 plants that stops it from growing.

Getting help over here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=8610822&posted=1#post8610822

Not for sure on diagnosis, but there are multiple foliar pathogens infecting. I think its a root infection, so I will go back this evening to root drench even though I just watered. It may get too wet if the rain comes in. I didn't realize until I got home it was a root applicaion product. Used bacilius subtilis amylolquefaciens RTU spray to soak all foliage. Used the entire bottle. I got the concentrate, and then saw it had root application rates.

I have been using espoma garden tone which has bacillius leicheniformis, B. megaterium, and B. pumilis. Are these disease preventing innoculants or are they only for organic fertilizer degredation? Hoping they will provide some disease control. I bet they do.

B. pumilis is in garden tone, and provides rHizoctonia and fusarium root disease prevention when it colonizes the roots.

Sorry to hear about your plants struggles, gardening itself presents many challenges but growing in the bush takes it to another level. I've always felt like if I can be successful out in the rough, I could do amazing things indoors. Hope you can get the problem(s) straightened out. I'm already nervous about the dampness in fall. Afghani's have been a life changer for my health but man are they not forgiving of being wet for long.

Got the drench application done, and watered in. They look like they're recovering. I put down 15 gal water around noon, and another 12 gallons for the root drench application. Roots should start kicking into gear now! I am ready to spray again on monday!

Thanks! Yeah its a challenge every year. Maybe I'll have a perfect year next year.

Yeah climate prediction center is showing moisture staying around through september, so be ready for it! Get a good headlamp for inspections. I am going to start culling males within a week. I have seen a couple males, but I want to see the preflowers develop more so we know for sure. Getting the males out early allows the females to fill in their space! I do need to remember to keep a couple that are healthy and in good light, they have to produce pollen early to mid August.

Got to get the disease activity under control. I've never had to do this before, so its definitely from the wet conditions. I worked the soil the other day right after a brief rain wetted the soil from a dry state. Then it got missed by the rains and got really hot this week. Roots were generally shallow because of the ongoing wet weather this spring. By working the soil before top dressing, the roots got cut, i saw a lot of them. Must have either got a root infection, or reduced feeder roots, causing them to catch foliar blight.

I've never had a perfect year lol. There's always something that presents a challenge. I've learned that guerrilla growing is all about flexibility and adaptability. Gotta take whatever comes at you and most of the time it catches you off guard.

It rained again today over here so it's more humid than a sauna. Had a rain free 4th of July which was a blessing considering we've been living in a cloud forest.

Same here today, it was patchy rain, and the humidity and heat slows you down. Just hope I don't have to carry too much more water. I carried in 27 gallons today! Carrying water will make you strong though! God usually carries it in for me! :smoke:

Made it out to the plot today! I love it out there, its where you get a reality check! Summertime is beautiful! Was enjoying the birds singing and soaked it up! Dogs are hunted out! Got called home when a patchy thunderstorm came through the area, but I think it actually missed the plot by a half mile to a mile because I got hit hard on the way home.

Removed all diseased leaves including some funky potential virus activity where the growing point of the leaves stop. Even went through and pruned sucker branches. Foliar symptoms are really improving! The plants have responded and are growing again visibly! Thank you God!

Stay tuned for some new views! :smoke:

Got lots of good pictures. There are several foliar diseases going on. Anyone familiar with the one that stops/stunts the growth of leaves? I need to breed for resistance! I have seen all the diseases before except the scorch/white spots. I think its due to a root infection. I can do another root drench in 2 weeks when I top dress next time.

Enjoy! Flowering season is coming up soon!

A plant that was topped, but it responded different. I must have not completely pinched the top.
