hey rudie looking forward to seeing the final weight on that one....and after you weight it cure that green a lil longer...never underestimate the power of a good cure...if you can cure it for a good while and smoke some bought weed you won't regret it
Well, the thing is, I'm graduating and getting a job this Summer. I'd kill myself if I lost my dream job because of a failed drug test. A couple people that graduated the previous semester told me that some of their employers did hair tests. It'll be way worth it for the engineering paycheck.
The grass smell had me worried, so when this little mini-ball of weed was dry, I smoked it:
I kept thinking "uhg, I knew it... I cut too early... this isn't working" so I just kept hitting it and hitting it. Then I went to clean the little glass tube I used to smoke it, I all of a sudden got really high. Oops.
It kind of starts at the front of your head and shoots around it to the back, then I felt my whole body relax. It was the kind of high that really makes you want to go out and be doing something, so I went skating for a while. The smoke itself was not that harsh, despite only having been dried and not cured.
These suckers were pretty dry today. I did the stem test and it broke clean, so I decided it was ready to cure.
I got very close to a quarter ounce.

What I learned:
Growing weed is pretty easy when you have the right setup. For me, stealth was the most important goal, and this case took care of that big time.
The community has taught me a lot more than I thought I would need to know, and if it weren't for people's input and the threads in this forum, my grow definitely would not have turned out as well as it has, so thank you guys for helping me out when I had questions.
I hope this thread will answer a lot of questions that other first time growers will also certainly have.
I might be selling my case save up for a new build, so I'll keep you guys updated on that... pm me if you are interested.
yayyy i finally get to post. ne ways i been looking at ur pc grow case and dood i still am wondering how did u do ur lighting. i know u used CFLs but how did u get them back to back like dat attached to the top of ur case wit the magnets.
hey quick question, why is the plant so short? Is it because of the screen? If u would have raise the screen higher will the plant grow taller in 12/12 cycle?
Hey, sorry I've been gone for so long but I just wanted to check back and answer any questions.
Mr Bubbles - There are some pictures of the lighting rig earlier in the thread. What Mr Growpro did was use a bracket that came with back-to-back light sockets and a bracket that you are supposed to screw into something. The magnets are just hot-glued to the top of that bracket (these are earth magnets you can pick up at a radioshack).
Bombay - Yes, the plant is so short mostly because of the screen. In some of the picture you can see that the main stem is bent under then screen and what is growing up through the screen are just little shoots off of this main stem. Otherwise, the plant would have grown straight up, looked a lot bigger (it would actually be the same size), but yield would have suffered. This is a technique called SCRoG and guys a lot more knowledgeable than me have written some great posts about it, so be sure to check those out.
I plan to raise the screen next time, but since I couldn't veg the plant for very long, I kept the screen low so it would fill up.
Hey guys, just dropped in for help on my new grow so I thought I'd check up on this old thread.
Thanks for the props, guys. As for your question Bean Curd, I believe the scrog screen was wire shelving from home depot. And Bombay, the increase in light for flowering is what these bubonic plants crave! That said, there's no reason you couldn't use 4 23W CFLs... that's what this is about, after all. Making due with what you have. Besides it would help out with temperatures, if you are having a problem in that area.
