3x 315 is much, 4x 315 on this space is wasted energy in my eyes. have a friend using 2x 210w in 1.2x1.2m and its really ok.. the 210 has a nice and cool 2,5x2,5coverage and does very good on 2x2 for flower(much better than a 250w hps, little less intensity from a 400W but heat still from a 210w device)

Thanks i might start out with 3 x 315w and see how it goes.Getting an even light spread with 3 lighst/reflectors in a square room is going to be the tricky part

I may be. At first I thought it was my soil mix, but now that you mention it, it could be the lights. What are you seeing?

What I'm seeing is that I'm needing to supplement with additional Mg under the CMH and I never had to do this under the HPS(same strain). Under the CMH, by mid veg I start to show Mg deficiency if I don't supplement.

Maybe you're just seeing the plant's colors clearer? Maybe they always had deficiencies?

Maybe, but I don't think so. I always examined the HPS grown plants under natural light. I've heard that led growers tend to supplement with additional Mg, but not sure why.

I've never used any HPS. I've only used the 400W CMH's, and now the 315's, and I usually only use them for blooming. I don't remember seeing a Mg deficiency with the 400's, but now that you're bringing it up, I realize that I have a couple strains that have shown it under the 315's... I can be pretty thick sometimes, lol!

Interesting, thanks for pointing it out!

Found a Prepaid shipping label in my inbox today. They did not say anything about them covering the cost.. That's good :).

I have mine mounted about 15' away. I have no specs on that data. Its not had any issues since installation. For the price there great. I have 2 of these. The 1st 1 has been online for 6 months? It does say the ballast case must be grounded. Never seen that mentioned on any of the others.

Anything that would collect or divulge actual user information is prohibited, I think.

Well, I have 2 Nanolux 630w CMH ballasts to get rid of with bulbs and reflector included. Only ran it for one season. I'm in SoCal and need to sell it due to financial constraints. Everything is like new. If this post is prohibited please remove it instead of banning me, please. Thank you.

Ya bro, its against the rules...

I would take it down....

Overall I've been happy with the Nanolux i'm running.

One small issue.. I happened to be there when it started up, and my old school FM radio, was out of tune.. Needed to nudge the dial over a bit to hit the station right on.. But it did pick up some RFI noise. But its literally like 6 inches away. When I tuned it to the right spot on the dial the noise stopped.

I think it makes less noise than the digital ballasts I used to run (Solis Tec) that caused problems with my PH/PPM monitor. I'm back to dirt for flower these days, so I dont have any comment on if they cause problems with other equipment. Its been awhile since I ran those, but it seemed like I had more RFI issues.

I might pick up a few more of these 315's..

Off topic somewhat but I want to order a CMH system and tent. I live in a non med state and have never ordered online. Would eBay or Amazon be safer than ordering from a grow store?

The problem is packaging, the tent I got off of Amazon was not in another box. I would guess that a ballast, and light hood would be a bit easier to conceal the contents. Like the filter and a fan I bought, it was in a plain box. They tell you in the shipping if its discrete or not.

The CMH I have (nanolux) would have fit in the box that the filter and fan was in.

And clear your shopping history, Its public..

I dont know if its safer in your area vs. a growshop. But if you are paranoid, borrow a truck to go to the growshop. And pay cash. I think its more anonymous to buy from a growshop.. No paper trail, no tracking of packages. Another thing with ballasts and lights I need them to be replaced ASAP in case of failure.
