The Grow journals are fun to do.I do more test journals and they can be a little more clinical and less fun.Im thinking on the next test grow to adoptmore more of a this freeflowing style with pictures murged between grow impressions.
I think some people just look at pictures and others glance and mainly read.
Merging them together creates a different experience. Maybe giving visuales people and readers the same experience.
The writing having the information like temps heights times cycles being merged into personal perspective.Staying clear of straight clinical information.I am still bouncing around ideas for future grows.
Hopefully expressing my grow experience and show newer growers what I'm doing and how.Creating no hidden shadows without insulting experiance growers intelligence.I myself am the consummate student.

#1 aloha Grape Stomper Grow impression
To start I want to say that I’m Happy I still have 5 more seeds in my savings and loan. I plan on sprinkle into future grows. There are some incredible terps in this line .Think Willy Wonka weed. This is my first time running GGG and I am impressed. They are a bit pricey though.
Her and her sister breezed through germination and veg with no issue and showed decent vigor. Stayed green and healthy up until her last week when I put into darkness.
Well she was cut on day 76….The extra couple days leaving her in darkness was money in the bank.
Day 47 showing a healthy structure
A did not see any amber only milky with some clear remaining ….That is just were I was trying to steer her. She kind of dragged ass a bit to get her there. Hoping she is going to be my sativa Girl. We will see.
I would say that I would consider Her an easy grow with a medium uniform structure with slender stalk and branches.. She had no grow issues. A very pretty plant in person and kept me looking forward to her finish.
Day 32 Bud
She had to get stock support only. Her bud branches slumped and bent from bud weight and the lack of water in the end. She was fairly pristine when I put her into darkness but taking her out 5 days later she was a wreck. Haha I like to tortured them there last days. But not a broken branch on her…Just slumped from dehydration but not snapped. With her visual and smell she looked and smelt edible as her sister did. Both made me hungry after being in there presents.
Day 47 Frost
She is a medium to good yield with firm buds that have some give.
Handling her we both could smell her Purplesaurus rex aromatic aroma. But when we started cutting leafs she gave of a violent Chem smell with a hint of the sweet candy grape in the back ground. Her resin quickly spread on hands and was like super glue as we worked.

The last thing is her bud production is frosty from bottom stalk to cola….there are no throwaway buds on this plant. I like that. Smell and visual gives impression of edibility.
The sacred lowest bud
She was a very chill guest and I was glad to have caught her on this run.

Two Stage Soil...
I think I just worked a problem out in my head that has been troubling me in my grow.
I have had a weak spot in my game when it comes to my plants at the end of their time in their k-cups.
I take sprouts out of germination bags and plant in cups in fairly unfertilized soil so I don't burn them at seedling stage.But they mature to the point where the soil cannot sustain them and I end up getting a slight nitrogen deficiency towards the end of the time in them.
Brewing tea has seemed like overkill in the past because potting up is right around the corner.I do brew a tea for up pot phase.
I think to fix my problem I'm going to put lobster compost at bottom of k-cup and reg soil at top.By the time plants get the majority of roots to bottom it should be able to handle the hotter soil and satisfy nitrogen demand as plants get closer to needing a new pot.

Damn ph, I just seen your thread.... nice work brophessor!! I can't get that grape stomper bx I have to get amber w the trix either... I've been running it for like 6 months now.... it produces good tho and it's a couch potato high...serious grape flavor..... I did an indoor run and I'm currently doing an outdoor run with it..... I was pleased with it for sure..., just took forever it seemed..... it has a lot of similarities of your but yours looks like it's got tighter spacing between the knothes.... I like that!! Im stoked for ya bud!! Keep up the good work!

My state has had a positive change for growing so I have carved out a spot for an outdoor grow this year.
