I was trying to take that picture when somehow my left thumb touched both of those terminals and I got zapped.!!

It's been a long time since I've been zapped by my lights, and it was quite exhilarating !!

I kinda feel like sticking my finger in the fan to see what that's like ??

Maybe I'll step it up a notch and use my tongue. Lol

There's a lot of booze and weed in me right now, so I won't feel a thing. Lol

But I still don't see any warm fuzzy pistils on these two plants.

They look like new leaves in their younger stage to me.??

Only a couple dozen nasty winged beasts,..

The fungus gnats don't stand a chance.

Dunno if it's about standing a chance. Springtails only eat decaying matter. Fungus gnats nib on the roots as well. So you should try to have no fungus gnats.. springtails can be ok tho.

Yeah, that's what I figure.

I have no living roots in the closet for the fungus gnats to feed on, so I think that the springtails should win out.

I'm only seeking a healthy balance.

I'm pretty sure that fast moving springtails eat fungus gnat larvae.

I won't be growing a plant in the closet for more than a month.
It's a composter for the time being.

2 dozen fungus gnats is nothing compared to my thousands of omnivorous springtails.

There is no such thing as none.

There will always be bugs and spores and pollen. And dust and dirt and cat 🐈 fuzz. Lol

I'm not going to use neem or poisons or anything chemical or biological or expensive to "treeat" my closet planter.

I will let nature take its course.
My outdoor plant 🪴 dealt with a lot more crap than any indoor plant I've ever had.

I think it's safe to say now that I Do have fungus gnats.
That's a good thing as far as I see it.

There are fungus gnats all over my house including on and in my window planter.

A few bugs are no problem.
Thousands of them are an issue.
Unless they're springtails, then many thousands are more than welcome.

I'm choosing to ignore the fungus gnats, and the VPD for my next plant.
No vaporizer in my closet.

30%-40% relative humidity is great for growing as far as I'm concerned.

I put a new sticky trap in the closet.
(I turned it over and peeled the new side.)
I also ordered 20 more new traps.

I'm just going to keep and eye on the numbers, and see how things progress over the next month and a half until I start my next plant.

I want to try to find out if they die off and the springtails are actually eating the larvae.

If I find that their population doesn't explode and I just have a few here and there, then I will feel comfortable just ignoring them and I won't worry about them.

That's why I'm glad that they are in my closet now.
I know that I have both springtails and fungas gnats so this might be an organic way of controlling fungus gnats.
It's free too. I didn't have buy the springtails.
