The closet plant,..
She's 28 days old today.
I removed the slow cooker about 2½ weeks ago.
She can just learn to deal with the 33% humidity.
I'm not spritzing her anymore.
The two cuttings died.
The closet plant,..
She's 17 days old today.
My next outdoor plant,..
She's about -1 or -2 days old today.
I sprouted a Ghost Rose a couple of days ago.
She will be transplanted outside after any risk of frost.
I've got a few bugs flying around my window plant.
There's a few stuck to my light bulbs,..
I caught this one flying around and got a pretty good picture,..
Does anyone recognize this bug??
It kinda looks different than the fungus gnats that I had before?
I don't see the horn on it's snout.
The plant seems fine, so I'm just going to keep on ignoring them. Lol,.. but I'm worried that they might be root aphids and the larvae are eating my roots?
I just realized that the search function works on this new forum platform, so I could search my thread for the pictures of fungus gnats.
I also did a Google search and found out that root aphids have their wings held vertically above their back when they aren't flying,.. like this,..
Fungus gnats hold their wings flat on their back when they aren't flying,.. like this,..
I don't see any antenna or horns on my latest bug, so it may be some other kind of bug?
But they might be stuck to their head because they are wet.
I wet my finger so the bug would stick to my finger so that I don't squish it when I caught it.
I'm going to try to take a look at the bugs when they have landed and see how the wings are.
