Window plant looks a bit yellowish... aye?
Yeah, she's a little pale.
She is getting nutes (750 PPM), so I think it might be light bleaching?

I think that she'll grow into it, but I raised the light a bit as well.

I figure the bright light might help to keep her from outgrowing the window sill.

The closet plant in 44 inches tall now. Lol

I remembered that when I grew that huge plant, I cut the bottom two branches off, so I decided to do the same with this plant.

I figured that it's better to do it now so that she can start sending her energy up the plant so that she hopefully grows taller.

I remember liking the bottom branches gone because I had more clearance to reach my watering can in to the stalk to water it, and the top of the media was drier and there was better air flow through the plant helping to keep any mold from growing on the plant or media.

I decided to plant the clippings to see what will happen.
I'm going to try and clone an autoflower. Lol

They will probably die, and I don't know if I cut them at the right spot for it to even work, but I'm curious to see what will happen.
I've got a little fine mist pump sprayer, and I'm keeping them misted.

I also removed the bucket to lower the plant, and turned on the 5000k side lights.
I set the LUX at 15,000.

Nice plants, LITFA is working well.
That raspberry plant reminded me of one I have growing now that has sprouted blueberry shoots.

Yeah, I'm doing much better with the LITFA.
I did cut those bottom two branches off but that wasn't a drunken mistake. Lol

That raspberry plant reminded me of one I have growing now that has sprouted blueberry shoots.

It reminds me of when I tried to grow a plant in the stump of the previous plant. Lol

That plant ended up being removed and planted outside where it grew to about 6 inches tall and yeilded one gram of dried buds. Lol

The two planted cuttings still look OK. They haven't shriveled up and died anyway, but the cut leaf did.

This might actually work?
I'm just going to LITFA and keep spraying them.

I found some fungus gnats,..

There was a bunch of them stuck to my bulbs.

It turns out that the pork chop grease works like a sticky trap.
I wasn't kidding that my my last window plant was covered in pork chop grease. Lol

I'm not sure how long they have been there but I found about 20 of them. I haven't seen any flying around for a long time so maybe they are all stuck to the lights. LOL

It works so well that I wiped off all the bugs and then wiped on a fresh coating of pork chop grease. Lol

I'm serious.
It works great and when the lights come on the kitchen has that pleasant smell of pork chops. Lol

I could have tried some other oil or grease, but the 🐖 grease appears to have the right viscosity to cling to the bugs. Lol

I did some research on Drip Clean and I think that I can make my own for about 50 cents worth of supplies that I already have...

I downloaded the MSDS info and found out what it is made out of.

It looks like it's just PH up mixed with PH down until the PH is at 5.8 for coco.

I've got the the PH down which is probably phosphoric acid but I'm not sure (I didn't know to ask what kind of acid it was when I bought it.)
And it's already watered down to 34%.

IMG_20220503_161752.jpg

And I've got the soluble Pot Ash,..

IMG_20220503_161801.jpg

I've got to make some PH up soon anyway, so I'll do that first, then slowly add some PH up to PH down until I get to a PH of 5.8

Adding Potassium Hydroxide to water is extremely exothermic so I'll have to be careful (and sober. lol)
And mixing acids and bases also creates heat, but if I use distilled water I shouldn't create any toxic fumes.
