I have not had a double. In theory a pair of singles rotated 180 could appose each-other mechanically, giving a good degree of noise and vibration cancellation. The noise figures don't suggest this though.

It is pretty quiet, but I don't really care about the noise. The PSU's are a lot noisier and I can't even hear the pump over the noise of the power supplies.
The power supplies are supposed to have thermostats controlling the fans, but the fans run all the time.

You must be around 7 weeks now. It's getting a nice coating. It is goes another 3, That will finish up nicely

She will be 10 weeks old in two days.

She must be behind in her development because of the PH issues that I was having.
She kinda stalled for a couple of weeks while she recuperated.

I don't care how long she takes as long as she finishes up nicely.

I know now that I need to keep track of my PH and it seems to be sorted out now.
I'm just going to feed her at PH 6.0 from now on and just occasionally check the PH of the reservoir.

I'm not going to bother draining or replacing the reservoir. I'm just going to keep adding nutrient solution like I've always done.

I'll just feed her from the top and wash everything through to the reservoir.

She's a lil bundle of joy :) Are you gonna dig her up again?? 😅

Lol...

No, she's above ground now, so I don't have to dig her up to see her. Lol

I've got her new lighting arrangement set up for her...

I had all 5 bulbs turned on, but I decided against it.

I've cooked too many seedlings before.
I'll give her a day or two. Lol

Is your pump waking the dead?
Does it drone on all night like the missis?
AK47
Failing that

Nicker elastic.

There are two things going on here. One, the suspension of the vibrating items, such that they can't transmit any vibration. Partially extended elastic. It can't be near it's elastic limit, or still in it's unstretched state. It must be able to move freely up and down. I have not only my pump on this free standing furniture, but also an extractor. You can put your ear to the wood. It's nothing.
The second, perhaps unseen method, is the bottle reducing the pneumatic pumping action. The pneumatic pump shakes the tank physically without some means or smoothing the flow. PVC pipe was once all we could get, but silicone pipe is cheap and available now, and we shouldn't be cutting costs with PVC. It's the bottle though where the real action happens. I used to just put holes in a lid that the pipes fitted in tightly. Now we can buy these fancy lids aimed at fish tank co2 generation. One pipe stops at the lid, while the other reaches to the far end of the bottle. It can take a good few seconds to pressurise the bottle, but when the air comes, it comes smoother than grease. All tank vibration is gone. We just hear bubbles breaking the surface, like a fizzy drink. You can place the air stone in the bottom, without need to suspend it away from the sides. Presuming you are actually taking that measure already. I have been doing this 30 years, but it doesn't seem common, so thought I would share.

Anyone else have methods? I have thought about balloon bladders, but nothing is as reliable as a plastic bottle. Or is it?

That's Awesome !! 👌 👍🏻👍🏻

I didn't know that they made bottle caps like that !!

I had to order some...

I tried to make a suction bottle to draw brake fluid out of my calipers but I couldn't find a way to seal the tubes going in and out of the bottle and they always leaked.

I can also make a squirt bottle to transfer transmission oil into my transmission.

The closest thing I've got is these one way valves that came with a beer making kit...

I also bought shock cord for various projects...

Click image for larger version Name:	20220103_234216.jpg Views:	7 Size:	226.9 KB ID:	18031179

It comes in different diameters and you can remove the nylon casing to use just a few strands of rubber to get the proper tension that you need...

Click image for larger version Name:	20220103_234216.jpg Views:	7 Size:	226.9 KB ID:	18031179

Regular rubber bands (and cheap shock cords) use crappy rubber and it dries out, cracks and breaks.
Proper shock cord uses quality rubber (urethane maybe?) that lasts almost forever and its salt water and chemical proof.

The silicone aquarium tubing is awesome !!
It's really flexible and doesn't want to coil up.
I found that it doesn't transmit vibrations and I'll bet that if you just coil up a length of it and hang it from your furniture it will absorb any vibrations, and sound and work as a pneumatic pulsation damper as well ??

I'll bet you wouldn't need the pop bottle ??

They have similar pulsation dampers for water pipes too.
They stop your pipes from rattling.
One type uses a spring and the other uses a volume of air...

Love a good windowsill grow. It feels like cheating the system, in the best case getting an ounce or so of some incredible "sungrown indoor" - almost totally free. The paranoia factor can be high though, even with the blinds tilted at a 45 degree angle and a low odor strain. And unfortunately January really isn't the time to do it where I'm at.

I like the window sill because it's in the kitchen where I can easily check on it many times a day.
It doesn't seem like much light is coming through the window but it's enough for the plant to lean towards the window every day.
There is no direct sunlight coming through the window at this time of year though.
I'll keep spinning the plant so she is bending different ways.

It's an autoflower too, so it doesn't matter how much light or darkness she gets, and as soon as it's dark out the light turns on so she's getting 24 hour lighting.

I'm lucky to live on Ontario where we are allowed to grow 4 plants for recreational purposes, so I don't need to care if anyone can see or smell it.

My neighbor told me yesterday that he could smell my plant in the driveway between our houses. Lol

I smell it all day long so I don't really notice it.
It's only when I've been out of the house for a while that I notice it when I get back inside.

This is a previous window plant that I grew...

Things can get a little unruly and outta hand. Lol

I'm not going to change my space.
I've had the same space growing for over 6 years.

My plant will simply have to grow with a 21"X21"X45" growing space.

I've still got way more weed than I can smoke and I've got another plant coming.

What the Hell am I going to do with a pound and a half of weed ?!??
lol

The closet plant is doing well.
She's foxtailing as expected but I don't know how long I'm going to grow her.

I may just let her grow for another month or more and see what happens?

She is probably about ready for harvest now but I think that she'll just keep packing on the flowers?

I would definitely let her go a little longer. I find that this criss does best around 11 weeks from germination.
