It turns out that she wasn't growing her third set of leaves.
She was growing her second and third leaves for the second set of leaves.

Hope you don't use flash when you take pics of it bro.. with that many pics the photons they get from the camera flash would put your lights to shame in comparation. :muahaha:

Yup, lots of flashes, I take 10 pictures for every one I post, and I took the pictures during lights out. lol

I like my Autoflowers.

Her stem looks a bit purple, so I figure she might be a little stressed?

If it is stress related, I wonder if it was the fan blowing on her or the lights?

This was her two days ago.

I guess that I'm doing another experiment, but it's one I've done before.
I'm going to grow my plant at a very low RH.

The last big plant I grew was grown at about the same RH, at about the same time of year.

I didn't mess with the RH or spray or anything, and I grew my biggest plant.

I think a dry environment is better in a lot of ways that outweigh the benefits of a "proper" RH including my tendency to overwater and drown my plant.

Forget all that vapor pressure crap. Lol

My pressure should only be about 10.
I'm pushing over 20 !!!

That's Way Too Much Pressure !!
She might blow up !!!
Lol

Haha she will be fine man, shes just not going to be praying and transpiring at the leaves and drawing at the roots at the most efficient level until your in that green zone. Another factor in that is how much light shes getting and how long per day. She looks good so far!

Haha she will be fine man,

Yeah I know.
I've done it before and it worked out great.👍

It was all the extra water that killed my last sprout.

I think that she's transpiring like crazy.
The dry air is pulling the moisture off her leaves.
So she's probably pulling from her roots hard too ?..

Another factor in that is how much light shes getting and how long per day. She looks good so far!

She's getting 7000 lux from the top, and 3500 lux from the sides right now, according to my lux meter.
She's on a 18/6 light schedule.

I checked the temperature of the lights and got 47°C on the ceiling strips, and 26°C on the side lights.

They have a maximum of 85°C so I'm good.

I replaced my 100 Watt incandescent bulb with a 60 Watt incandescent, because I want to wean her off of the extra heat.

She looks like she's got something else growing ?

I don't know if it is more leaves for the second set or a third set starting ?

Her body language will tell you everything you need to know, if shes praying her transpiration rate is good. If shes drooping or dying shes lacking oxygen. People already done the experiments thats why the vpd chart exists haha. Certain strains are higher and lower on that chart, its the same pressure you joke about that allows oxygen and enter and nutrients to enter and exit your plant. Sometimes its better to start where people left off and innovate from there instead of trying to disprove proven work hehe

Keep your EC low, and the fluid should flow freely enough to keep the stomata moist.
I have been reading a little about them, and it's a bit like an old persons mouth. Two lips that can get dry and shrink, closing the hole. If the plant can provide enough moisture, the air can be dryer.

I don't know guys ??

All I know is that I grew this plant before, in much the same conditions, and she was Huge !!

My goal is to reproduce the same results that I've had before.

I'm not going to let the science and numbers get in the way...

Shes huge, but she doesnt look that dense in my opinion. I think you will be fine, but I think you will be finer if you believed in the vpd chart if that makes sense lol

I believe the chart, but I question how much difference it makes.

I don't want to bother with the time and expense of installing humidification in my closet.
She can just learn to deal with what she gets !!

I would assume that if my plant was growing that far into the red, it would be really struggling or dead?

But that plant did fine.

I just need to do what I did before and grow a big ass plant.!!?
