Diary PCBuds mini-grow

I assume that she will stop stretching above the break, but keep stretching from below.

Maybe I could bend over a small part of the top where the stem is softer, then she can still stretch 10 more inches from beneath that point?

Then I'm not risking as much of my main cola.

You could supercrop and bend her right down. She'd pop back up over a couple of weeks, with some of the side buds reaching up in prominence. Not pretty, but productive, and should keep her within your 10" limit.

Looking fine, btw :tiphat: And those seedling close ups... man I cant help it every time I see those little beauties it makes me want to smile. And makes me want to pop seeds...

Thanks Alice :thank you:

I just decided to bend over the top few inches.

I'm on my second drink now, so no more gardening for today, and I may have to shut my phone off shortly. Lol

The seedling is looking OK, just slow and kinda stretched.

You nailed it, that top will still be productive while the lower branches continue to stretch. :good:

I've heard of supercropping before but I didn't know what it meant.

My closet is only 21" across, so I would only be able to bend over the top 7"-8" of the plant so that it's got room to not bind on the walls.

I've got some time to watch the plant and decide what to do.

I figure I'm not in too much of a rush, so I don't have to do anything too radical too soon.

Bending the top turned out to be quite easy with no problems, but I didn't hear a snap.
The stem was pretty soft where I bent it.

If I could just keep bending her top over every few days, I think I'd prefer to do that.

I'll see if she straightens up by tomorrow and how tall see is.

The sucky part is that I have to guess how much she is going to stretch and plan for it in the future.

Even if she stops getting taller now, she is still taller than my last few plants, so that's a good thing. She can make use of more of the light.

Try to wait until tomorrow and see if she stretch at the same rate or start to slowing down.

So, I assume that if I need to bend her over again that I would have to bend her at a lower spot on the stem because she will no longer be stretching above the current break ?

Not 100% sure that a bend will stop all growth above. Best to see how she responds before doing anything else - and the bend will be vulnerable for a week or so as it heals. Will be interesting to see. When Ive done radical bends like this the plant has often responded by putting lots of growth into the surrounding buds - so a bit like a topping.

I just checked the plant and the top was half way back to standing straight up again, so I bent it some more and felt a bit of a snap.

I will leave it alone now and see what happens.

I've got room and time to keep an eye on her.

We'll see what happens.

...that top, it will be fine.

She's already recovering.

Should I expect to see her right herself by straightening herself at the break, or will she just start to grow upwards after the break and leave an s-bend in her stalk?

Or something in between?

Either way, I expect to see a big fat purple knuckle at the break.

Yeah, she'll get a knuckle - and will slowly turn to point upwards again, but with an elbow, so never fully straight again. If you're careful you can tie her so that the stem stays horizontal, but I would normally do that at the same time as making the bend - not a few days after. OK, I'm drunk but feel like I can pull that off.

It wasn't long ago that I snapped her, so I will do that now.

I have a hook in the middle of the ceiling that I can tie her to.

I was worried that she would grow more than an inch overnight and fall over again, so I supported her higher up as well.

I just watched a documentary about the Iberian Lynx.

The rarest cat in the world.

Cheers to Spain and Portugal for giving a shit !!

This cat roamed over 1000 km before it was run over by a car.

Let's hope we don't kill them all...

We can do this.
I don't see any reason to not.
Unless it just simply costs too much, and we can't afford it...

I rescued and restored a Canadian Couch Cat to her natural habitat...

Sleeping on the couch.
She owns it ... Lol

She's still got her eyes on me.
