Diary PCBuds mini-grow

, ... do you notice anything on the plant itself?

All my three plants look great, but maybe they just haven't had their roots eaten yet?

I'm hoping that since they are well established and healthy, they might be able to fend off an attack, at least long enough to get a half-decent harvest?

The closet plant is huge and I would think that if she had enough gnat larvae to do any real damage, then I would see huge swarms of gnats flying around?

Yeah, fungus gnats are only an issue for young seedlings and clones. They sure can be annoying though.

Awesome!!
I didn't know that.

I'll just grow these three plants out, then ditch the pots on the window sill and buy some bennies for my cooler and reuse it.

There aren't many of them, at least not yet and my cat likes to chase them down, so she's helping. Lol

Looking good man. I might add some sidelights too in the future, seeing how good they work.

Thanks exploziv.

I'm really liking it.
I don't have to scrog or LST or worry about light penetration.

I just surround her with light and let her grow naturally.

Been a bit since I came and visited. Your plants are looking great, PCBuds! What an improvement from your stressed-out closet plant from this summer. Kudos :joint:

Thanks, q3.

This one was pretty stressed out too.
She's got purple striped stems and is 10 weeks and 2 days old, so she's slow too.

But I think that I just recently finally got things dialed in pretty good.

I think I should be able to make ReikoX proud of his plant that I'll grow next.

I think I'm going to turn all the lights on in the closet right from the start and not use hanging strips from the ceiling.
Just light up the whole box and let her grow into it.

I'll turn the lights down at the very start then full blast when she has two sets of leaves and I start the nutes.

There are some grows with lights on all the walls and is so cooll..
Great plant by the way..hows the smell?

The smell is nice but I really have to stick my nose in there to smell it.

There is just a hint of a smell in the room with the closet.

This is what they say about it.

I started the seed on Sept. 29th.

I can't smell anything from ReikoX's plants yet. She's not as far along though.

That's warmer than my rooms. I sit about 68 at all times with 65 %humidity.

I like my old school stuff.

This is the thermostat for my house that was built in 1942.
I like how it's analog with a coil spring, and a glass tube full of mercury.

That is enough mercury to kill all life in a small lake.

That's Cool!!
Lol

It has worked fine for almost 80 years.

I don't expect a failure any time soon. Lol

You know, I'm reading about half of what you've got on both scales...

I think I might need two batteries instead of one?

There might be some kind of metric conversion issue too, ??

Lol

great job dude!

Thanks, SuperBad. :thank you:

I think that I've actually got things dialed in pretty good now.

The closet plant looks great!!
She is a nice dark green color now that I made some changes.

I added heat to the closet, started PHing my nute solution lower, increased my nutes, and decreased my lights on time.

I don't know which changes made the difference, but everything together really seems to be working well.

I guess it's a good thing that I figured things out with this plant.
Now I'm in better shape to grow a ReikoX in the closet for my next plant.

My goal is to chop her on Christmas Day, but if she's not quite done, I think I'll let her go longer to finish up.

She's come this far, so I may as well finish her up.
I read that a plant can double her resin in the last two weeks, so it would be a shame to cut her if she needs another couple of weeks or so.
