Payne Farms 2016 greenhouse / outdoor run

As far as males go, I have already completed a pollination with bangi haze male pick #1 - he was the most vigorous of all the plants, and had a very pungent spicy garlicy smell. Was intoxicating. He flowered out beautiful, with no spots of molds or mildews. Extensive flower sites, and a true pleasure to have flowered.

He pollinated:

Dog kush
Grand daddy purple x SR71 purple kush
Slymer golden ticket
wet dreams
wet dreams x blueberry indica snow lotus
jillybean x mulanje
Grape Ape
Cherry pie.

I will be extensively testing this in the spring and over winter to find what made the best crosses, and will be selecting the very best male out to bx with.

Bangi haze male 2 pollination just got flipped as well. The second male was the last to show sex, and was allowed to get VERY large and with 0 training made a huge bush, excellent structure imo. He was very lemon pie, cheesy and sweet. Was one of the best stem rubs I have had this year, and even though this year has been colder and wetter then usual, he was perfectly happy from day 1. His clone in the 4x4 tent now with:

4 best malawi females
4 panama red phenos
bangi haze females
Wet dreams x blueberry snow lotus
grand master kush
Prime moonshine
gorilla glue 4 x blueberry snow lotus

Hi Paynefarms,

It's a pleasure to see your progresses in the farm! I'm glad you finally received your seeds and that the germination rate was perfect.

Excellent job, plants look very healthy and happy, this is going to be a super interesting outdoor diary to follow.

Love the animals around too :) Best wishes for the upcoming months!

Thank you kind sir! Just wanted to say thanks again to you as well, I love the vibe and customer service, Ace is Aces in my book!

I was wondering if you had another recommendation for next years season? I am loving the bangi haze outdoors, and the panama, and malawi I triggered indoors and moved outdoors are really loving life as well, and just blowing me away. The love you put into your breeding/preservation effort definitely is reflected in the quality of the genetics, so would love to see a new strain next year! Im at 43 degrees, in cold wet oregon. Any other strains besides the bangi haze that you think would preform well, and finish before october 1, with high resistance to mold?

Stay free, stay high!

Gotta pull my tarps, so I will be quick.

That greenhouse is working out fantastic for you, nice work. All the ladies seem healthy, and you have a great lineup for next year will all those crosses. Great work.

Love the chair in the greenhouse. Sit down, smoke a joint, and admire your grow!

Yea! I do have to admit, last year I had a lot more time to sit in the greenhouse, this season has been much more work so havent had nearly the quality smoking time!

Definitely though one of my favorite things about life these days is sitting in the greenhouse when my PTSD is giving me trouble sleeping, and when those first lights of sun hit the ladies and wake them up, its my zen or whatever.

My wife always makes fun of me...I never intended to become a hippie but somehow I did anyway lmao.

Thanks my friend!

You are killing it as always yourself. Looks like your gonna have some HUGE plants again! I have some big nice plants to, but man, I certainly didnt fill the greenhouse height this year! Will have to try harder for tees next year!

With legalization coming, the large plants might be a thing of the past. I am already starting to design a new facility, and most of the growing will be done in greenhouses with light dep and small plants in high numbers. However, they are fun!

Hope everything finishes up nicely for you. When do plants go into flower up in Oregon?

Yea, I keep hearing and seeing more commercial small plant mass quanity grows....I'm not convinced that is where I'm headed. I know the tides are changing, but from what I have seen....There's still a lot of power invested in keeping it the way it is. And there's also a lot of money and power invested in making those scale gardens only in big business hands. I don't know where the road will go...sometimes I wonder if someday I will be able to do 500 seed bean pops to breed with, and sometimes I'm convinced the next season will bring indoors only, guerilla growing, and intense secrecy. At the end the day I do know one thing....high quality clean organic flowers will never go unwanted.

Everything has the look that flower is happening. 😊

It's kinda my goal, and haven't had it yet, to grow some real monsters. Like seriously OMG huge ya know? I want to stare up at a huge cannabis plant, and know I nurtured it! I have 14 foot ceilings in the greenhouse, and I want to use em.

you want 14' monsters? get the purple haze x malawi and start them in march. i pruned my ass off and still had 14' rs 28 oz dry on each one and had room for improvement. i have deleted my pix but they were massive

My 2 female bangi hazes are starting to transition (43 degrees) Gotta say, cant wait!

One is lemon danish, lemon pie, sweet cheese etc. The other is pungency, skunky, spicey garlic onions turkey dinner.

The skunky pungent pheno is slightly more vigorous, and seems to not need as much support so far, but the lemon pheno is much more stanky, and speaks to my senses a bit more. They both are the highest quality of genetics. They are in 100% native soil, I threw some fresh rabbit manure on top, the some straw mulch.

When did they finish? My season is short, cold, foggy, dew. Think they would tough it out? (43 degrees)

Well, got the second power circuit ran to the greenhouse, And I have all 3 ridge support 4x4s in now, concrete is set, got 6 of 8 fans in, and as soon as the last concrete hardens, I will get the last 2 up. Its amazing the difference in air flow, its drastically so much better now. once the last 2 fans are in, I know its gonna be the ticket. It went from a sauna during the day, to rather pleasant under the shadow of the trees. The Dehumidifier is now running about half time to keep humidity dialed in, mostly at night, and everything is transitioning to flower nicely. Stretch is still going strong, I love seeing them go! Got them top dressed with seabird guano, and flower bat guano, and the first BT spray out. The bangi hazes are both prob the most impressive to me so far this season. They STINK from about 10 feet out, and are becoming massive. Anyway, enough yacking, heres some pics!

Man those are some sativa looking strains if I have ever seen any. Good looking plants. Not sure what size GH that is overall, but I spent 20k on a 36 x 48 x 17. I bet you came out real good on what appears to be a very functional greenhouse.
