gorgeous greenhuose setup my friend! what size is that? Looks a little wider then I was planning, but I can see the merit in doing 2 rows, instead of one. Might be even better just to get some pvc instead of using my game fencing.

@FoothillFarming
What are the dimensions of that greenhouse? Its basicaly just a hoop house right? The fan in the picture is just to move the plants a little bit or does it serve as ventilation?

Thanks guys!:tiphat:

This is a hoop house from Farmtek. With end walls, fans, pull over tarp, and seven year 0% financing, it cost just under 4k. It is 8t x 12w x 48 long. I also have a manual arm installed on both sides of the greenhouse to help with pulling the tarp. 1" 9/16th tube steel, and rated for 4ft of snow. Second full year on the property and some of this last winter was nasty, and still standing strong.

That fan circulates, but doesn't have room to, lol. It pulls air from the doorway, down the middle of the dep house, and another fan installed in the end wall on the opposite side exhausts. I also have roll up sides that greatly help with air flow. When the tarp is pulled, I also have a 10inch inline fan that is buried under the side walls. Been working pretty good.

Yea farmtek is great! Still crazy to see their "cannabis greenhouse" line! right on their home page to! Man times have changed....

Beautiful plants, Paynefarms, what elevation are you at? I'm south of you at 7500 and we're still getting some snow and nighttime is close to freezing. How are the Bangi doing?

ouch 7500! thats pretty high! where about is that to get that kinda elevation?

I am under 1k, I think 470 feet or maybe is 740 feet, I sometimes switch numbers from memory lol.

the bangi seem to get happier in the new home by the day. Today we had tons of rain, so I imagine next sunny day they will really shoot up.

So, starting to get plants sexed.

Malawi I got a ton of females, and only 1 male so far.

10 plants - 1 male, 2 unsexed still, 7 females.

Panama Red - pink pistil / reds line

12 plants - 3 males, 6 females so far. theres 1 male I really have my eye on. Hes HUGE compared to both the malawi and panamas, reeks something fierce, hard to put a name to the smell though. Exotic and delicious. Hes got my attention for next up to breed with.

The bangi haze male pollination tent is rocking out. Coming on day 14 since flipping, and I think I definitely picked a good male. He transitioned fast!

All in all, I am very stoked. I am getting the second greenhouse built, and will is looking like I will have 12-15 sativa plants to put in there to flower light dep style.
They are Stupid vigorous to, cant wait to see how they do.

Got the light dep greenhouse started. Ran out of time to finish today, will get it done tomorrow weather allowing. Ended up going 8 foot wide, 48 foot long, and 7 foot of headroom. Hoping this will hold all the females of the malawi and panama reds, aiming to start pulling tarps june 7th - 14th, depending on weather.

Then after they are done, I will refill the greenhouse with a bunch of plants that will flip naturally.

Real beauties, Paynefarms;) I'm in the high desert in a neighboring state. I work at 9500ft and luckily live a bit lower. Frost can come in weird months around here, real PITA.

Whew we, what a fuckin day! Was at it hard today. Got 6 yards of soil delivered, and my smart pots filled for the light dep greenhouse. 7 count 65 gallon, and 3 count 100 gallon smart pots. Got the light dep greenhouse nearly ready for plastic, and the first 7 plants transplanted. Ran out of time before the wife rang the dinner bell.

these are the best of the best of the panama red - pink /red pheno lines from the breeder back, and the malawi. these plants are all super vigourous, amazing stem rubs, and Been topped now 6 times. I think I am going to give them till first or second week of june, depending on how big they get before I start pulling tarps.

@dubi Thanks again for your work breeding these, and preserving these genetics. I can't wait to get the plastic on, and get the temps up in there, I have high hopes if I can get the heat up, they will blow up in their big pots!!

Hi Paynefarms,

It's a pleasure to see your progresses in the farm! I'm glad you finally received your seeds and that the germination rate was perfect.

Excellent job, plants look very healthy and happy, this is going to be a super interesting outdoor diary to follow.

Love the animals around too :) Best wishes for the upcoming months!

Hey guys! didnt receive any notifications that anyone replied! Now that I know people are following along, I will make sure to post updates here as well! Everything is really moving along this season for me. I will get pics up asap!

So, lets see what has happened since last I update ya.

Theres 2 confirmed female bangi hazes in the ground. One from each "phenotype" line. Theres one thats some serious delicious lemon danish, lemon pie kinda smell. The second is a "chicken dinner" galic, onions, savory, spicey.

both are currently starting to show signs of flower, stretch has begun, and extra pistils getting throw (I am at 43 degrees) Heres some pics of the ladies.

Yea, the piggies all got nice and fat living the good life on payne farms....now they are in the freezer. Will be hopefully getting another pair of piglets after the harvest is handled to fatten up again!
