This one is the smallest and slowest to flower, but it still looks nice for
as old as she is

Instead of culling I may repot into something large and try to hide a couple outside.

Can I grow my fem panama on ebb-flow table or plant in dirt and hand water.
I find it grows best in hydro but I have that with any and every cannabis variety... I got it in soil too, after growing it in perlite only. It's really a grower's preference, the plant can do fine in either. It can handle quite high nute levels too, in fact, I've never fed anything as much as the panama and she loved it.

Hello Duby nice work whie this Panamá! What is the diference between Panamá standart and Panamá fem.? Wish to find Panamá green pheno!!!

In cold climates, wich one will adapt better: nepaljam, banghihaze or Panamá?
Thanks!!

Hi Truchoxki,

Panama standard release was reproduced using a wider variety of parental plants, so it's more diverse, less inbred.

Panama fem release was reproduced by reversing Panama Goddess mother and pollinating best females of the different phenos/lines found in previous standard reproduction. The fem version is more consistent, but more inbred. Both are great.

It's easier to find Panama green phenos in the standard release, but also can easily be found in the Panama fem Breeder Pack (green line).

For colder climates Bangi Haze and Nepal Jam are great choices.

Hope it helps with your doubts!

Panama has been chopped at 82 days. She looks like she needs at least 1 more week, or maybe 2. But I decided to chop her. She has slowed down popping out white pistils, but I still see a few, She also still has some clear looking trichs, even though most of them are cloudy/milky. The smell is the same as last time...Lemony oil grease. The nugs are more dense this time, and kind of hard. I didnt even try to do a good trim. Most of the small leaves are still on the plant. I have enough Panama to last me a while now.....Next time I will do either Zamaldelica, Zamal Hash, or Orient Express!!

Thanks justabluez for your updates and for sharing the outcome with us :) Looks like they yield quite well in your setup.

I see some brownish parts in your flowers. Did they suffer lack of ventilation or botrytis ? Hope it didn't affect the quality or healthiness of your flowers.

Good luck on your upcoming grow with ACE genetics! ;)

Nice Kyg, that plant does look lovely, quite similar to my favorite of my Panama's. I've been topping it, so it's filled out a bit more but the leaf shape is the same imo. Really happy with this one, no flowering yet though here at 43ºN.

and here's a clone of her on the left (#1) with a clone of different taller, narrower leaf pheno (#3) on the right.

I've had to pass the mum of that one to a friend to flower due to space issues at my grow but I'll have room to flower a clone myself at least. I'a 3rd female (#4) in the ground at another spot, similarly tall and narrow leaves. I'm holding on to clones of the 3 males too, I'm sure I can do something interesting with them. Peace, TEC

Hi English Cut,

I'm glad to see you are also growing Panama this season.
She usually starts to flower in our Peninsula in the second half of August.

Btw, congrats on your recent prizes at Irún's Cup ;) Well deserved!

Really a beaut, justabluez. Waaay different pheno than mine, which I absolutely love... not even having smoked her. Amazing tart lemon smell, very frosty and buds big all the way down the stems. Takes high heat well.

Having cleared the tent of NepJams and Tikals (Tikal=amazing smoke!) I just surrounded her with three of her clones that have been vegging outdoors for two months along with a big Tikal clone. These have been trained and trimmed up to dwarf their Momma. Really beautiful plant;)

Hi deepwaterdude,

Happy to see you have had good results growing Panama indoors and that you are also growing Panama clones this outdoor season.

Glad you found Tikal amazing! ;) Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I pulled this one out of the most recent Tropical Mix Standard. Grown under 400 watt HPS in coir, perlite blend with worm castings, assorted guanos, dolomite.

This plant was a pleasure to grow from start to finish. Beautiful looking leaves and structure, lovely smells throughout its development, and excellent vigor. Plus excellent manageability for a sativa, a legitimately blissful high, and great flavors.

5 weeks veg, 10 weeks flower. The first picture is from week 9. The second after 6 days hanging and 15 days curing.

The smoke is top notch as far as our circle is concerned, especially as the cure goes on. There is a lemon fragrance that predominates, but there is a deeper, sweeter herbal smell too-woody like rare incense. The taste is tangy and lemony on the inhale, sweet and earthy on the exhale.

This is very kind feeling herb. The high is like a warm vibration that emanates from the temples. Positive, positive herb and true to its sativa heritage in that it is still functional despite the profound euphoria.

Unfortunately, I didn't clone or breed with this one. I sure am glad there is a source for more seeds! Thanks Ace Seeds! I'll be a return customer for sure based on this plant alone.

Hi green-genes77,

You found a really nice Panama in your tropical mix ;)
The lemony incensey phenos with warm, positive, euphoric effects are probably my favourite expressions of the line.

Thanks to you for sharing your growing experience with us :tiphat:

Loving my panama! This plant spent the first eight weeks of her life in about 25 litres of soil, and although still healthy you could tell that she has the dna to be a much larger plant. She has some nice red developing in the petioles. Really looking forward to watching this girl do her thing. Thanks ace seeds!

Hola island_organics :) Bienvenido a lCMag y a nuestro cuarto! :tiphat:

Excellent growth on your Panama after only 2 months of life.
You are right, it's a very vigorous strain, especially outdoors in warm climates, she is a beast when grown directly in soil.

Keep up the good work and she will reward you with an excellent yield of high quality sativa flowers.

Yes, you can. I always recommend to grow organically in soil, but as Sativied said she takes well high levels of nutrients. The growing media it's mainly a personal preference, each grower masters different styles of growing.

Excellent work Sativied :)

You really knew how to get the best from your Panama under a 400 w lamp  One of the best indoor Panama that we have seen here in the forums. Enjoy her!

Thanks man. For the record, it was under 400watt only last and first weeks of flower, 600 the rest. That's on 120x120cm. I enjoyed the bud for a long time, great bract to leaf ratio, I could get record yields from my space if I filled it with panama.

Currently got her in soil, should be done in a week or two. It's under 330watt led this time, together with 16 others plants. It gets maybe 30watt of that.

One of 8-9 colettes:

Panama Goddess mother (F10), 3 weeks of flowering, ready to be pollinated by Tikal fem pollen. 4th pic is Panama A22 (F11), also around same flowering time.

Grown organically without ferts, sorry for the blurry pics, it was a windy afternoon before the storms.

Gracias dubi :tiphat: For the record, she was about 12 weeks from seed in those pics. She´s in about 200ltr of soil. She´s in full bloom now and looking and smelling amazing! Full on lemon, incense with a sweet back note.

We´ve had some big electrical storms over the last week and she´s loving it. Hopefully we´re in for some dry, sunny days now to finish her. Awesome genetics dubi. Thank you brother

Does anyone know how explosive the growth is after light switch in hydro setup? friend has few in tent with 1kW and wondering if he should flip them after 1week veg or do they just explode when they enter flowering? they are quite small now and topped once but didn't seem to bush some phenos at all :D
