Panama in the jars. Took her about 12 weeks. She needed 1 more week, but my impatience won again. Nice yield from the reveg. Not sure if its better to reveg or to keep a mother from seed and take clones. This strain has a lot to explore. However, I must explore some of the other gems from Ace seeds.

Chaman's Acapulco Gold

Chaman's Acapulco Gold

Thanks sogman and YBC for the visit!

Chaman's Acapulco gold, thais and oldtimer's hazes are finally starting to flower now (early November) :chin: Will post pics of the tropical plants in some weeks.

Here's the 'green' expression of our Panama. The line came from our good friend greengrocer. It's a high yielding, vigorous and powerful hybrid composed of panama 1974 and modern panama.

We selected and bred here in Spain the best green panama parents for 2 generations and then we crossed the result with the red panama/columbian.

General view of the green panama, grown organically in pot. The clone was moved outside in June. She has been less sensible to the light contamination of the city, producing big dense generous sativa flowers.

where i went to feed my panama today some sensi bloom, bud blood,b-52,nirvna,big bud,bud factor x,canna boost and bud candy. but im cutting bud candy out after todays(weeek4) feed and starting to use canna booost which i will use at 16 ml till flush. i will flush with final phase. as u can tell im a advanced nutrients fan. im also doing a test tho soon and it made make the quailty and yeild even better. im gonnna use veg+bloom wiht heavy prime and heavy fire and see what happen..i do know one thing heavy 16 folair is the shit and it works fkn great all through veg even foir cag/mag whores. anyway here is a pics..the bud blood works. idc dont mo AN haters say. just look at those buds starting week 2 after the use of bud blood. we will see if they finish faster k like they are suppose to,also canna boost suppose to help sped up the plants to finish faster to so thats another thing that im lookimng forward to; i will keep everyone post what happens.

Ace Green Panama

Ace Green Panama

I pulled this one out of the most recent Tropical Mix Standard. Grown under 400 watt HPS in coir, perlite blend with worm castings, assorted guanos, dolomite.

This plant was a pleasure to grow from start to finish. Beautiful looking leaves and structure, lovely smells throughout its development, and excellent vigor. Plus excellent manageability for a sativa, a legitimately blissful high, and great flavors.

5 weeks veg, 10 weeks flower. The first picture is from week 9. The second after 6 days hanging and 15 days curing.

The smoke is top notch as far as our circle is concerned, especially as the cure goes on. There is a lemon fragrance that predominates, but there is a deeper, sweeter herbal smell too-woody like rare incense. The taste is tangy and lemony on the inhale, sweet and earthy on the exhale.

This is very kind feeling herb. The high is like a warm vibration that emanates from the temples. Positive, positive herb and true to its sativa heritage in that it is still functional despite the profound euphoria.

Unfortunately, I didn't clone or breed with this one. I sure am glad there is a source for more seeds! Thanks Ace Seeds! I'll be a return customer for sure based on this plant alone.

here is my panama that i took pics of today. i started this off in living soil but not liking the growth i switched it to Advanced nutrients sensi bloom and a couple additives and now super happy with growth and smell so far.gonna get me a forked limb and put in the ground in front the plant bc its gonna have a ton of buds on it and i dont want the limbs to be breaking. check out the close up of a side shoot bud. it wont be long i will be taking that as a tester lol

I have to say I'm pretty jealous of all these pics. I didn't find any keepers in my 10 pack of panamas. I had quite a few runts and a couple deformed. The nicest structured plant out of all of them ended up being male

thats why i only run fem seeds so i make sure i get a winner out the pack lol

I grew panama last year but she never got to reach her full potential due to soil problems and an early chop due to budworms. Despite that she smoked very well and i was impressed with her smooth, creamy taste and the quality of the high which was warm, happy and dreamy for me. I´ve been dying to run her again, properly this time!

Out of 10 regs all 10 germinated and i have 3 females, 2 of which i´m growing outdoors this year. Very healthy plants, and a real joy to watch grow. The seeds were sown on the full moon, 20th may into organic soil and were all up within 3 days. I think they have begun to stretch at last! Much respect to dubi and crew for this beautiful variety.

Great pics!
Out of 10 regular germinated seeds you ended up with 7 males?
Thank you Old-Toker! 6 or 7. I gave one plant away and haven't been told the sex of that one yet. I've found the ratios to be very variable with regular seeds over the years. I've kept the best male to pollinate the two females.

To cull or not to cull

To cull or not to cull

I started 6 regular seeds, One popped open and grew strangely then died. The 5 left were good. 2 had slightly deformed second set of leaves.
Now a few weeks later I have one that is a little smaller ( one of the ones w leaf deform)
and 4 that are growing nicely at same rate. Should I cull the smaller one or wait more.
I went into 12/12 after a couple weeks of veg.

It is the front left plant.
I think I can really only grow 3 nice plants in this box.

I read in earlier post to top them early. Im thinking it's early now.
What do the experienced Panama growers say?

my panama is moving along nicely. i sprayed it today with tru blooms, sea green,rootamentary,ful-power,aza plus and extreme serene. will be last spray on the buds as i wanted to get the aza plus in there for caterpillar control. stop those little bastards before they ever get a chance to shit in my buds again. here she is i figure anywhere from oct 1-15th she will be ready to pull. my bangi haze didnt start flowering till the 20th of this month and normally all strains i have ever grown start flowering aug 1st-7th at the latest,my malawi still hasnt started flowering as of aug 17th when i was there. not sure it will make it if it aint done by nov 1st. i only put out one as a test though so no biggie if it dont.

I wouldn't full until you've sexed them. I had one that was runty in veg but turned out a good yield in flower. Turned out about 60cm flowered straight from rooted clone others turned out up to 85cm but as I said, the yield was still good (actually better than some of the taller ones). It turned out to be the 2nd best plant from that run. I didn't keep it as the best was very similar in flavour and effect and wasn't runty in veg and cloned much quicker.

Loving my panama! This plant spent the first eight weeks of her life in about 25 litres of soil, and although still healthy you could tell that she has the dna to be a much larger plant. She has some nice red developing in the petioles. Really looking forward to watching this girl do her thing. Thanks ace seeds!
