Gorgeous, Pannacanna! Boy...does that look good!!! Yum!
That looks chunky
Dank stuff panacanna! Purple Panamanian Pandemonium!
Will you fill us in with a smoke report?
I wonder if anyone crossed Ace's Panama to some Jack Herer.
Id like to try some "Panama Jack"
my guess, panama red = lebanese red.
i read a couple of reports in this thread about ace's panama having afghani smells and this shot from panacanna looks like indica bud structure to me =/

i also read that a few people find the high to be more of a stone... not saying ace is lying or anything im just reading mixed impressions.
Panacanna's Panama although beautiful is extremely unusual looking when compared to just about any of the Ace Panama photos I have seen or any of the Ace Panamas I grew. It really looks very similiar to some Panama x Deep Chunk photos I have seen around. I'm certainly no expert so it would be nice to hear what Dubi thinks of that plant.

Many of the pure South American sativas have a bit of spacey, disorientating stone to them. Some columbian stuff I had decades ago for instance was like that. My Ace Panama has a very floaty and soaring kind of high but I wouldn't call it electric or clear headed. It is less devastating and more fun than that Colombian I remember from years ago which was great stuff but quite heavy and more debilitating. My Panama girl is very sativa growing in structure with moderately thin fingered and very large leaves. The bud is very fluffy and airy with heavy frost although I have seen other Panama grows with quite dense buds, mostly the green phenos. Mine has a very unique smell which started as pure lemon pinesol and then later picked up complex woody incense undertones in the cure. It certainly does not remind me of any Afghan I have smoked.
Land race sativas really do vary a great deal from place to place and the line between sativa and indica as we refer to them has always been blury and completely non existent in the eyes of science. For instance highland Nepalese sativas even when pure blooded and taken strait out of some remote mountain valley can have a lot of more "indica" like traits such as a dreamy, relaxing and floaty buzz and thick hash plant style trichomes and quite dense buds.
The more electric sativas I find tend to be highland Mexican, African and tropical SE Asian strains. It really depends what you are looking for as to which land race sativa you go for. If you are looking for pure heart pounding clear headed and electric sativas then I think africans are a good place to start.
