Hola amigos

I am sure seeds will grow with nice vigour and easy going. Some traits are great to be used for your own and original breeding purposes with these lines. Best luck to all

Feliz Año Browser, glad you managed to sample a finsihed bud, as we talked, hard in your climate and particulary this Panaman needs time. Did you get coloured calyxes at the end? Hope you enjoyed, nice job

Raco, as a wise friend said...for the sativa diversity, hope results can still nice... are "reds" from both sides although Moño didn't show such hairs. Hope males do well, hybrid moves obviously more into Columbian side.

Virginharvester, takes time but yes we are, and as usual, trying to get best from such area, some coastal greens, some highland purples, some mangos, sta martas, etc. Some of these lines have been the same for decades over there although much variability on quality depending on seed sources, not all are that good, maybe golds-amarillas are harder to find now. Anyway, takes time as most need 4-5-6 months for finishing flowering and cerebral sativa effects, and we are working on some dif things at the same time.

Best

Is it wrong to get so excited by the pictures and thoughts of these exotic beauties or am I just a pervert? :D

Dubi can I assume that a woody-haze smelling gal is a green type? I am getting a red color in the large fans due to cold temps though. Does the green pheno make a red color if it gets cold? I am confused.

Yes 3dDream the woody-incensey ones are more on the 'green' side. Reddish phenos have stronger fermented lemony aroma.

Beautiful plants Dubi. You, Charlie and friends are doing great things in preserving land-races... It actually looks MUCH better than anything you can find in Panama nowadays. It's either bad Colombian or expensive Jamaican.

Anyways, enough ranting. Here're some shots of Canabiogen's Panama (she has an slightly different heritage, as you'll read in this thread). I tried her outdoors, but she just was too long flowering and too big to cover (to start early flo), so a friend tried her indoors and after a failed 1st try, here's the outcome after 22 weeks.

Best wishes for 2009!

Thanks for share the pics Browser, it's good to see you around.

CBG's panama is an extreme long flowering tropical landrace, 'untouched'.
On the other hand ACE panama hybrid is a very tamed pure sativa hybrid.

I hope you enjoy her after the long work, best wishes!

I´m stoked!
The outdoor Moño Rojo is very nice this season, was picked by mid November, after several days of continuos rain.
No mold at all. This cut received direct sunlight in the mornig only..

beautiful pic
The moño rojo has shorter and thinner hairs, but I think it has a few things in common with the panama :D
I have yet to trim this:

Hi dubi,
That what i have tried, but with my average english i dont find the right way to do it.
I use grolux lamp and with low temperatures the plant are realy compact.
They were under 14/10 during 2 week and 12/ 12 since one week.
I thought i got only one male and 5 girls.
The temperatures are better now i thinks they will grow propely now, i can't wait to see pistils.

Well I messed up a bit. I had a nice panama male that was in the cab a bit too long. As I pulled him out I saw a wisp of pollen head back into the cab. On the bright side, I'll have tons of seeds. To recap, I only have one panama lady. She had a hazy/wood smell early on in flower, the smell has sweetened up and is now very fresh/clean floral when it hits the nose and fades to menthol/spice/wood. She is a bit leafy, but I expected that. The buds do get pretty big when they are close to the light. I only use a 250w and the largest nugget is a little larger than two golf balls. Only the top two flowers are that large, the next node down is the size of a single golf ball. I have to say that she looks to be a average yielding plant, but I did top it early in flower. I suspect the yield would be better than average if I grew her in a larger container with a good veg. So far so good, a nice cure will tell. But first, a nice flush. Since I grew her in a beer cup that should be easy.

I will take more snaps later just before chop.

Wow 3Ddream, what a lovely macro!

Panama yields nicely when grown under strong lights. Of course, some vegging is recommended from seed, pure sativas reach later sexual maturity from seed. Im glad you have produced some seeds to play in future grows!

Some of the most beautiful plants and buds I've ever seen right here in this thread!

I just have to grow out Panama some day, although my 250W/Homebox S setup may not really be optimal for this strain I guess.

Btw. a certain famous online seed retailer I won't mention out of respect for Gypsy says that Panama has been discontinued. What's that about?

I see Seed Boutique still has them but do I need to order soon to get them or will they still be available in the future?

Welcome love?

Seedbay/Seedboutique bought our lastest panama seed stock, other online retailers maybe are out of stock right now but panama line has not been discontinued, we still have female/male stock and feminized version will be ready in a few months.
