Dubi - Nice pics! I have to say it's nice seeing your pics and even nicer knowing that I am growing it.

Rabid I agree with you on the vigor. My 4 panama are faster than the sensi star and my own blue cross that were started at the same time. The Panama are also very uniform. I will keep posting, but there won't be much to see. I am a micro grower and not to far from now is where out plants will look radically different because these plants wont be leaving the cups.

one would think they are clones....

Good day 3dDream,

Im glad to hear Panama seedlings are growing vigorously and uniformly, as should be. Seeds came from 3 different reddish mother, all 3 from same generation, so you can expect some variations at flowering, there are real nice expressions to be found!

Beautiful pics dubi. Is that the new release or the older stuff? I'm hoping for the pink-pistil phenos which you said were more dominant when done outdoors. THINK PINK haha
QUOTE]

Yes, rabid it's the newer version, the one you are growing right now
Maybe not in a very hot tropical place, but they easily show the pinkish trait outdoors with slighty colder night temps.

dubi - how tall did those plants get indoors with that veg time? i want to start my crop soon but im debating whether i have space in my closet, or whether ill do a winter outdoor grow

High inverse,

They finished between 1.15 meters and 1.60 the tallests.

Here is for example a small early (60 days) flowering resinous panama, mid flower leaf ratio and great lemony fermented aroma.

You can grow them straigh 12/12 but i'd recommend veg them for 3 weeks. If you find one that is stretching too much in the seedling stage then you can top her, here's an example:

Panama veg for 3 weeks, topped very early, around 3rd node of life. She has 2 big main colas finishing about 1 meter, 65-70 days flowering time.

On the other hand, here's a taller untopped panama reaching 1,45 meters.
Veg for 4 weeks. Very nice yield and dense flowers for a sativa. 65-70 days flowering time.

Welcome Hughesy,

Our Panama makes great crosses: her resin production, dense flowers, strong lemony aroma, fast flowering, potency ... are usually quite dominant in the hybrids. Crossing panama with your local outdoor strain should produce something that finishes in your climate with lot of panama influence.

really looking bulbous dubi. something like a cindy/jack h. but unique. how's the potency?......C37

Thanks cartelero,

Maybe looks resinous and dense like a c99 or jack hybrid but panama it's a pure american sativa hybrid with no indica or skunk inside

Potency is real good! :rasta:

Im glad to hear it grandsrin

Prepare a strong mix with worm casting and guano for both growing and flowering stages. Re pot again to a bigger pot with plenty of new soil mix around 3 week of flowering, then use weekly bio flowering fertilizers till last 2 weeks of flowering. Finally flush the plant with pure water and balanced ph.

enjoy growing them!

Well I am down to just one female with a hazy smell to her resin and one guy with what could be described as lemony-ish in smell on the stem. I am gonna cross the lemon guy with a whole lot of nice things.

Dubi can I assume that a woody-haze smelling gal is a green type? I am getting a red color in the large fans due to cold temps though. Does the green pheno make a red color if it gets cold? I am confused.

Beautiful plants Dubi. You, Charlie and friends are doing great things in preserving land-races... It actually looks MUCH better than anything you can find in Panama nowadays. It's either bad Colombian or expensive Jamaican.

Anyways, enough ranting. Here're some shots of Canabiogen's Panama (she has an slightly different heritage, as you'll read in this thread). I tried her outdoors, but she just was too long flowering and too big to cover (to start early flo), so a friend tried her indoors and after a failed 1st try, here's the outcome after 22 weeks.

The pics are not the best, but she has this feel of Old School to her, and she's very different from any of the modern hybrids I have gotten my hands on since the begining :rasta:

Best wishes for 2009!
