Panama x Bangi Haze

Here’s a big bud that’s around 10 months cured (fridge for 7 months). I’m surprised how strong the lemon terps stick around for. Often those bright smells are first to mellow out. It’s incredible with the franky incenses and cola/anise taste. I thought I’d post this since it’s pretty special for buds to retain so much potency and terps. Reminds me of pure Haze in that way.

It’s great at 3 months, really good snappy sativa and good for getting stuff down in lower doses. At around 6 months it gets pretty psychedelic. Very euphoric and good for stress. A bit dreamy after a good 15-30min soaring rush. No ceiling like haze with no crash…just chill and relaxed. Potency is still up there now and I find it “stronger” and longer lasting than a lot of stuff out there. I find modern hybrids don’t seem to last like this.

Highly recommend this one. I kept a mom I liked and can’t wait to grow her again. I also have a pack of regs that I can throw into the mix. PBH is one of the best in every way.

Do you guys recall having having an oignon smelling Pangi in veg/early flowering ? Like a pungent fresh onion aroma 😅

Not at all spicy/lemony like the Panama I grew last spring.

Intriguing ...

Hey Feel Haze, I notice that green onion smell often with weed that is heavy with the haze/incense terpenes (American sativas). Often it mellows out a lot in the cure and becomes incense/cedar wood smells. My experience is a bit limited but my longer flowering pangi had it and all my Green Honduras Haze plants had it very strong. The smoke on both of them was sweet, like sugar, not creamy and sort of dry and smooth like tobacco. Hard to describe but something I really enjoyed in both plants.

Nice and tidy @FeelHaze
My experience after two runs, is that Pangi is very hungry.
Have you grown it before?

I've grown Panama but its my first time with Pangi. Panama can also take a lot of nutrients for a sativa.

3 days ago I transplanted from 6L pots to 25L pots. All the added soil should satisfied her need for N. When the budlets will be well formed I will feed them low doses of PK booster.

Please keep us updated. Hoping to grow pangi at some point in my small tent, interested to see how that up- potting after the flip effects the stretch.

I will keep you updated for sure !

What is the dimensions of your tent ?
I've grown more stretchy plants under a 6 feet ceiling in the past without any problem.

Hey 😃 👋 I'm growing currently Panama x Bangi from ACE ...I started with 10 Seeds I believe or 11 I don't remember planted under 12/12 ...they are all sexed already 5 females (big pots 3x 11 Liter and 2x 6 Liter) 5 males ( small pots 5x 2 Liter) one male got crushed yesterday and I had to rip almost all leaves of 😅+ a already flowering Old Red Sour in the tent ...

The one big male will maybe used for some future projects ..

Hey, currently growing in 60x60x160cm minisetup. Currently I have bangi going, after repotting it to final 14l container, gave it a week of adjustment time. It turned out to be too much as the 8 topped plant stretched atleast 5x..with strains like these maybe flipping before up potting is way to go.

Damn that is too bad !
Were you still able to keep it ?

In order to better manage the stretch, I strongly suggest to top the plants before flowering and to keep them in smaller containers (to restrict the roots a bit) during at least a week, up to 4 weeks with really tropical cultivars, and then transplant in bigger pots.

Yes I have it going, closing in flowering week 2 or 3. They're closer to the led than the manufacturer recommends, if i see light burn just gonna buy new tent with more roof or dim the led.
