Easy to grow, as stated in the description. She was happy with my mix of some dirt from the garden + ewc. Green at the beginning, yellowing only when she's supposed to and meanwhile packing some quite dense buds. Not as fat and dense as the Hon x Pan next to her, but close.
Almost no stretch. Had i known she would so much not stretch, i wouldn't have put her next to the GT3. She's had some serious competition for light, even with my help ( because, you know... when is this GT3 going to stop stretching? I want to know ! I'm not cutting anything !)

The smell when touching the flowers was unknown to me, and very pleasant : grilled meat. Beef. With thyme and maybe a touch of garlic. In the background, a hint of citrusy fruity something.

Now that she's been some 6 month in a jar, she smells mainly lemon and flowers. Very balanced. The lemon is not overpowering. I cannot tell which flower(s) i smell there, certainly closer to lavender than to rose. The grilled meat is unfortunately gone, but there is still some animal quality in the background. Oh wait... just one more sniff in the grinder... ha ! moment : writing "lavender" has given me a clue, the other smell is the thyme that what with the grilled beef ! yeah, now i'm sure she really smells like some pungent lemon thyme. Very nice !

What she does to my brain is of very good quality. Good for the mood. Nice for doing stuff in the garden : she gives enough energy to do a lot of stuff, but she also reminds me to look around. There is a lot to see during springtime in a temperate garden ! I wouldn't call this one exactly clear, because of this slightly dreamy/contemplative color. Doesn't match well with editing audio takes, for example.

And i think that's all. This Pan x BH will most probably find her way back in my grow space some day.

Hi people,

I harvested my pangi two days ago. She got quite yellow, big leaves falling and to my surprise i found some late flowering nanners. Its most probably my environment causing heat stress, not the right soilmix and not enough nutrients in the end. Im tending to let her go because of the nanners, cause i really like to breed with my beloved plants and i have so many seeds to explore.
Just two question to that, wouldnt most plants start to herm if they are under severe stress? Or is a stress test the solution to find breedworthy individuals which are 100 percent sexually stable?

(Edit: this is the best answer i could find by now, key sentence is
Sex expression in flowering plants is regulated by genetic, environmental and hormonal factors.
Source: https://www.icmag.com/threads/induc...n-genetically-complex-female-cannabis.136860/

My plants were under a lot of stressors caused by my environment, i even found a light supplement timer running off. if thats the way you find potential herms, i was quite good at it :D but its also possible, that i create only feminised seeds by environment stress, if there is no male chromosome.

The important question would be.. should i discard all intersex plants, even if caused by several environment stressors or is it a spectrum were the amount of stressors is the key to selection. I could probably only be sure to know a true hermi by genetic sex testing or growing the seeds to know if they are all female, right? And as i am growing her from feminized seeds i assume i would have only female babies of her as there is no male chromosome. The next generation would have a similar stressthreshold to show „male“ nanners like the mom did.
And i also assume that with plants like cannabis you should have thousands to go through and sort out to really form a line and make it very stable, where in the world is this possible? Indoors, several lines, with thousands of plant? Thats a lot of work and very expensive.
I still have some questions about the topic but i think this is probably not the best room for it) end of edit

About 80 days 11/13. very lemony fresh smells. She yielded very good!

And here is the aftermath of my training, it worked really well with this variety. Otherwise my space would have been to small

Pangi@ 8 Weeks. She's a pretty hungry girl, really craving some feedings regularly!
Probably also because she was rootbound for quite some time - stayed in 1 gallon pot until the stretch was over.

The smell is already really pungent and delicious! Some mixture of lemony Candy and a little bit of Onion/Garlic. The maincola is really fat already. Guess i will stop feeding now and let her go for 2-3 more Weeks.

Really curious how she will turn out :)

Thanks ACE! Amazing Genetics so far!

Quick update/smoke report at around 5-6 month cure.

Things have rounded out really well in both flavour and high. The anise/rootbeer flavour is very unique and cooling. The lemon and incense smells have balanced/blended nicely. Very strong and refined terpenes that seem quite stable (I’ve had them stored cold). There is a deep grease almost gas columbian note that appeared more later in the cure that is quite nice. I think the green onion note that I smelled during flower has changed into this. Similar thing happened with Honduras/OTH in the cure.

The high has balanced out and is less racy now and longer lasting. Very happy, up, euphoric initial rush/high of great quality. Very creative. Mellows out into a chill relaxing high without any heaviness. Keeps anxiety away and seems to be good for ADHD after the initial rush. High ceiling if you smoke a few and great for social if you pace them out.

I recently grew out some Stardawg cuts and I like mixing it with PBH for a flying intoxicated late night high. I was impressed with how much the PBH comes through in the head. It makes for a Malawi type psychedelic high but with more pain management. I played some sports and have some old guy pains and like the Chems for that but prefer sativa’s head high so it’s always nice when a sativa can punch through.

Lastly, the buds are just incredible. Perfect density to ripen up well on the plant but also don’t dry out too fast in the cure. The stems pops right out, grinds smooth and makes perfect even burning/vaping weed. I don’t really care about bag appeal but these definitely have it.

My go to weed this summer.

Hi @ilovegrowing glad the grow finally came to a good end despite previous issues.

Flowers looked well developed and finshed after 80 days of flowering, within the correct range for the strain, a sign that the plant underwent proper flowering.

Not sure whether nanners resulted from some kind of stress or if it was just the plant's nature.
If you really like the plant, best way to know it is what you are doing, do a new cycle with same clone and try to avoid failures from previous cycle that may have diminished the potential of the genetics.

Close to two months after harvest, the flowers must be starting to cure nicely :yummy: Enjoy!

Welcome to ICMag @Phobos420 🥰 Great first post with a fatty long Panama x Bangi Haze cola.
Yeah, this vigorous and hungry F1 can require quite high ec nearing 2 around second third part of flowering, especially if plant is already root bounded and soil quite depleted in nutrients.

Your harvest must be also nearing a good stage of curing. Do you like her finished product ?

Sorry for the delay in reply. Thanks for your support! 🙏

Love to read your inspired, accurate and well written smoke report 🥰 @Greencedar after close to half year of drying-curing. At that point, the plant is either at its peak of curing or has been recently. If the grower is a heavy consumer, he/she would have had enough sessions at different times of the day, different mental states, environment, and other factors, ... to really familiarize with her qualities, and you have perfectly put them in words ;)

Such good looking and high yielding lemony incensey expressions, combined with trippy, uplifting, expansive, and social effects, are my favorite from this F1.

Ites my good ganja people's :joint:
Panama x Bangi Haze after drying, brown bag pre curing and triming just before going in jar for a full curing process.
Smell sweet musk and encens, licorice and lemon soda, taste pretty much like it's smell very sweet, smoke is enjoyable & not too strong. The high is well balanced and very safe not psychedelic and Anxiogenic/panicogenic, but not the ideal fx for day time smoke for mi, good for relaxing after the work and enjoying with friends.

All my graciousness to the great @dubi for breeding such truely exceptionnal ganja, a real dream ina reality💥💥💥💥💥
One love All

Thanks also for your smoke report @JAHNODUB brother :rasta: hope she is been enyoed this summer.
Sounds like you got a more balanced, relaxing expression, not so trippy, expansive or energetic.
Iirc by your pictures, i think your pheno leaned more to Bangi Haze, isn't ?
Did her qualities remain the same after 2-3 month of curing ?

Do you keep mothers in clone form or do you always start a new cycle from seed ?

Excellent smoke report as well @Onuma Sativa ;) thanks you very much for sharing your growing and smoking experience with this strain. It's a very vigorous F1, although not very strechy in flowering, will certainly not grow as tall as GT3, or Purple Haze x Malawi after the switch to flower.

The harvested flowers you have posted look a bit more on Bangi Haze side.
Glad she shines in quality motivating effects and lemony terpenes as well.

Thyme (tomillo in Spanish, grows here wild and cultivated for centuries) is a great reference to add when discussing herbal terpenes. thanks :)
