Too much humidity in the environment, prevents good combustion, but you can distinguish earth, benzine and a coffee when I turn off the pipe.
The effect comes with delay, and suddenly time and space are confused. Smokes more and is powerful, completely abducted hehehe
en el sillón termino pegdo despues de mucho Pakik jajaja ...
Thank you very much Roms , thank you

The ARICA project and vibes after his return in 2004 :

Mriko
President-Treasurer of the ARICA

HEre is below a short presentation of the ARICA.

What is the ARICA ?

ARICA (Association for the Research and Information on Cannabis) is an NGO, based in Paris, that have been created in 2002 due to the obvious absence in France of structures working on that subject. There are repressive structures, NGOs lobbying for the legalisation or others working on prevention and health, but not a single dedicated to the study of the hemp plant and its traditions around the world. So ARICA has been created to fill the gap.

ARICA’s work

The goal of the ARICA is to collect and diffuse on an international scale all hemp-related informations, and especially these about traditionnal uses of the plant around the world.
Most of our work focuses on the ethnology of hem plant, which is probably the most spread one on the planet, both in time and space. It has been used by more cultures and civilisations than any other plants, and it is still a fact today. Hemp plant is used during holistic or therapeutic rituals, as a food, as a social link and many other traditionnal and unharmful uses, but it is ignored by the majority, who only think of it as an evilish drug. So a part of our work aims at restore the truth about the hemp plant.

From July 20th to October 20th, 2002, president and vice-president went to South-West Asia (Kashmir valley, Himachal Pradesh and Pakistan’s N.W.F.P.), to conduct a preliminary study aand make first contacts in order to prepare an accurate research, planned for 2004. The areas we’ve spotted have their own specific situation and relations with the hemp plant, from a subsistence economy in a state of war (Kashmir), to the enriching of western mafiosi to the prejudice of local populations (Himachal Pradesh), or a pacific and perfectly integrated activity threatened by world politics (Chitral area, Pakistan).
The 2004 mission will make possible to constat the evolution of each situation as well as penetrate deeper into traditionnal life in search of local uses of the plant.
Hopefully, another research should be done in Afghanistan, Spring 2005, and also the Himalayan State of Uttarakhand (fall 2005). Other researches are planned in France, Netherlands and Switzerland during that same year.

Each year, the ARICA will conduct one or two missions, lasting from 2 to 3 months, mostly in Asia during the first years (a mission to Central Asia is planned for 2006). Other missions, 1 to 3 weeks, will be also conducted on a regular basis, especially in Europe.
We do hope to publish in 2005 the first issue of ARICA’s publication : “BongoMan”. It would be published every three months at the beginning, then every two months. It is not planned to make it monthly, in order to maintain a high quality of work.
In the Future, ARICA will also diversify its activities and plan to create a seed bank, selling exclusively local landraces originating from the countries we have visited, and also to settle some fair trade business the populations who get an income from the hemp, ans sell hemp made products.

There are possibilities that the ARICA move from France to the Netherlands, because of the better working conditions in the second country. This would also make more possible the opening of a fair trade coffeeshop.

Why ?

Nowadays, Cannabis is a threaten species. The eradication is planned and organised at high cost (economic and human) by international instances such as the United Nations and most of the governments. In the West, hemp had been suffering from the numerous disparagement campaign since many years, at such level that the numerous traditionnal hemp uses (for fiber, seeds and oil) have been close to disappear. Some revival is happening in numerous area of Europe, but it is a fact that in some places everything has been forgotten about the hemp.

In countries were production and consumption of psychoactive hemp is traditionnal (often in a ritual setting), the running eradication of the plant is followed by that of the traditions, leading sometimes to a real acculturation. Thus in many countries, the hemp plant, formerly perfectly integrated and highly respected, has became a drug, a poison. And through the imitation of colonizer’s behaviour its banning has lead to the rise in consumption of hard drugs, mostly opiates, but also cocaine, pills and alcohol, because these are the drugs of rich west, and cannabis is that of the poors.
The ARICA aims at “giving back to Cesar what belongs to Cesar”. It is to give back to the hemp plant its true place in our societies. We have to make the people know that it is a true part of the Human culture, a part that we can’t afford to ignore, and surely not to erase !
We have to struggle for the respect and preservation of the hemp traditions around the world. What would we, Europeans, say if someone came in our lands to cut down all of the hops and vineyards, to forbid us to drink wine or beer, and bring in some deadly powders and pills to replace it ?

In the areas where the hemp grows abundantly and naturally, the plant is a whole part of the eco-system, and it can even become an eco-system in places such as the Kazakh Tchu Valley where it grows wild on hundreds of thousands hectare, or in the Himalaya.
Nowadays, more and more people are worrying about the consequences of human pressure on the environment but the eradication campaign are indeed a very strong one, as some powerfull people want to totally eradicate the plant from the Earth’s surface ! How can it be ?!
The hemp plant has many therapeutic virtues, and there are hundreds if not thousands of sub-species living in the wild. Eradication can deprive the humanity of therapeutic treasures which will be lost for ever if this process keeps on going on. Another dangerous pressure on the wild populations is the importation of western commercial strains which are grown in mafia-owned fields, thus bringing genetic pollution to the local landraces.

Parvati Project

Legalisation is a dream for many users but it is a fact that it could turn into a real nightmare for many. If legalised, the hemp business would quickly fall into the hands of Agri-business giants, which could be catastrophic for the plant and for the people living from it. Therapeutic Marijuana would be produced by giant pharmaco-labs, they would grow their own patented strains, and peasants from Third world would of course not be granted the right to grow their strains and sell them for their therapeutic values. It is important that hemp, after legalisation, get not scheduled as a common WTO-regulated merchandise. As for the opium, hemp trade should be regulated by a single specific organisation, but it should be done with humanitarian and long-term development goals. Countries such as Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan or from Central Asia or Africa own a true economic ressource : hemp. They should be allowed to legally sell their national production on the international market. As is gold, petrol, diamonds or cotton, hemp is natural ressource and it can help to bring in devise to concerned countries. Through the Parvati Project, the ARICA has some proposals for a potentially effective global legalisation of hemp, that could bring in a real benefit to underdevelopped countries. Hopefully, it should be officially launched on a global scale around late 2005 - Early 2006, but large communication about it will be made until that.

Just wanted to post my experience with the Paki Yarkhun, I got 2 females, one was done fairly quick, very thick appearance, dense indica nugs with flat tops and very beautiful, very kushy looking. I wish I kept that one, produced rock hard nugs from top to bottom, they were like little rocks... The smell was delicious, very terpy, like a more feminine smell to it, reminds me of some good Amnesia Haze smell, without the sharp lemon aspect to it... The high was nice and relaxed, nothing too crazy, but very tasty smoke, and very enjoyable high, maybe it has a good amount of CBD in it.. The other pheno, had similar smell, but more of a spear type airy sative type structure of nugs... however It needed another week or 2 to finish properly, didnt really have enough time to fatten the pistils up... so the smoke experience kinda got ruined by this factor, I'm sure if it fatten up woulda been very nice as well! I still have some of these nugs left in a jar.. I'll eventually get to them! I still have half a pack left here and definitely will pop the rest soon and maybe make some f3s... Oh yeah I forgot to mention I got around 10-15 beautiful seeds seeds off of the nice pheno, that was used a Cabeca de Nega (brazilian sativa) male that reeked since week 1. Will try running those soon too, should be interest to see what comes out! Thanks once again Roms! Peace
