I just dug through my trim/shake "I'll probably make iso later" container for some of my PCK female from the PCK/PanamaDC cross. Man, she's good. Super low yielder and all indica, but easy to spot with her dark purple, tiny rock hard buds.

Here's a shot of one of the girls from that cross. Overall structure on this one is all PDC, but we'll see how the buds turn out. I need some PCK back in my life.

The green pck pheno started flowering some days ago. I'm experiencing a similar phenomenon to what happened last season: lower buds flowering faster than the upper ones.

The purple pck is going to be quite a challenge. She still hasn't even showed pistils yet, despite the four months of veg time.
I'm wondering if I should curl her or not...

Oh boy, this must be some sort of canna phenomenon :chin:
I reckon it should have been flowering for at least a month now... curl? how do you mean?
My Pan x Tikal (pure sat?) have been flowering for two weeks now albeit real slow...

Hi, Orfeas :)
I was thinking about putting her to sleep. There was a word used by many users. Curb, curd or something alike. Can't remember right now. I don't think I'll make up the courage the end her life. She doesn't take up much space anyhow

Cull?
noun

act of culling.
something culled, especially something picked out and put aside as inferior.

If you cull animals or plants, you kill or remove them:
to cull growing herds before they run out of food
culling dead timber

Peace, God bless

Haha I sussed out what you meant but dear Logos was swift
No no no culling my friend, no reason whatsoever...once equinox kicks in and the weather turns for good, the bizarre plant might take you by surprise

I agree. She may simply be more able to “judge” her environments suitability to flower or veg.... perhaps she’s more sensitive to cues like the equinox or cooler soil temperature or even spectrum shift or angle. Thing is that if she’s so adept at judging timing she may also be explosive and quick finishing as that’s the most advantageous evolutionary scenario to a long veg and then quick switch when the weather turns bad (by which I mean bad for flower formation and reproduction).
In my opinion a plant descended from mountainous places with many microclimates and types of growing environments would be well suited to life in a warm river valley or on a cool dry mountainside if it had such sensitivity to flowering conditions and a fast (8 weeks or less if seed is the desired outcome. Which it is for the plant) flowering period.
Guess it depends on how you feel about your spots weather etc. 8 weeks after flowering begins...

Coming this November: "How to harvest a frozen plant by Theo"
I doubt we'll experience the amazing autumn of last year. Maybe a greenhouse will suffice, pck is supposed to be quite hardy. Let's test her thoroughly.

Hi, Yukon
I agree with you. Something that grows in Pakistan won't get scared easily by some rain and cold.
Last year's Kali china was almost done after eight weeks aka end of November. We usually have half a meter of snow at that point. A man can dream, though!
We'll see, all the other plants should be finished by then. The balsamic and grapes stem is whispering "You shall be surprised"...Better listen to mother nature :)

I had 14 purple PCK flowering in my greenhouse last year. It got down to 32F and 34-38 was pretty normal for a low temp, they didn't seem to mind. They made real good hash:biggrin:
I'm with Orfeas, give some winter pck a try.

Peace, God bless

Good luck with the purple one Theorganicguy, my neighbour has a cut of mine outdoors and was a little late flowering compared to some others with it but is catching up now.

Really happy with this one so far. I love how dark purple she turned and how intense the dark fruity scent developed near the end. Cutting the fan leaf stems stained the shears purple too. First samples in my vape are very positive and seems to be just a strong as my green one I grew last year.
Took these pics a couple days before I chopped it down at 9 weeks 12/12. Grown in 3 gallon fabric pot of pure coco feed once a day with canna coco a&b.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.
I love this stuff for an evening smoke that doesn’t put me to sleep. I’m on my second bag(vape) of bubba x pck and I can barely keep my eyes open to type this. Forhead is about to hit my desk so it’s nice to have something in between a heavy kush and all the amazing sativas I get to enjoy during the day.

Absolutely beautiful. It really doesn't get any more colorful than that.

And you're spot on about the smoke. Perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. No bad thoughts or paranoia, and no sleep unless you're ready.

What an outstanding plant, Mountainkush! I love the fox tailed look the flowers have! I think your pheno may be similar to mine, judging by the dark purple, almost black look of the flowers. Only time will tell.
Aromas are mostly vinegar and tangy. Let's see how a week of sun will contribute :)

Excellent outcome Mountainkush!

What a beautiful purple Pakistani pheno. :dance013:
PCK is not a big yielder, but she is always fast, tough and trouble-free, and always offers great hashplant indica qualities.
Glad the first smoking tests are of your taste ;) Enjoy her!
