Started another one of these from seed as I’m going to try and find another mostly green one as a keeper. It’s been a favourite of mine for an evening smoke. Wish I could of kept a cut from the first but was unable to.

Here she is with a couple different cuts of Lilly from OD. These two strains were my first order from Ace around a year ago. Third order will be coming soon as I can’t get enough of there strains.

Here's this pretty boy showing some color more & more the last few days. Looks like he'll be dropping some good pollen soon.

Have a few in various stages of 12/12. One hasn't shown sex yet, which is a bit strange, but we'll see what happens. One is a colloidal silver recipient, so she doesn't quite count. Two girls are close in age in terms of flowering with one being a week to 1.5 weeks behind. I think I'll let the younger one go as far as I can take her just to see what happens. 10 weeks max, just for fun.

Here's a shot of the one furthest along. About 3.5 weeks 12/12, although they didn't veg too long and probably took a little extra time to show sex and start flowering. Right at 2 weeks from first little pistils in flower.

Wonderful plants, Kamyo and Mountainkush, all of them!
Here are my two favorites: a vigorous, green one and a slow, purple one. They look amazing and feel themselves at home here. They grow even on a cloudy and cold day. They don't seem to need much sun

I'm really interested in that purple one, theorganicguy. I'm expecting mine to be green, but I might see color as the flowering progresses. No air conditioning in the room, but enough air exchange to keep temps and humidity down.

The last PCK showed the slightest sign of pistils this morning. The Panama DC that I was originally hoping was a girl, now I'm hoping is a boy. No more of either seeds in storage, so I'd definitely settle for a bunch of PCK/PDC seeds instead. We'll see what happens with those.

She really looks cute  So far, I prefer the green pheno though. Especially if she has the organoleptic qualities I heard of (pear, caramel, apple). I'll definitely keep them and maybe even pollinate both, in order to work with two separate lines.
You are working with males as well, eh? Let's fill the shelf with seeds :tiphat:

I do have one girl I sprayed with CS that's turning, but I'm honestly not sure if I'll keep her/him around to drop pollen. My PDC is almost certainly a male and will probably drop some within a week to a week and a half. By that time, my PCK recipient should have a good amount of pistils ready. Considering one of PCK's best uses seems to be in breeding in color and a lower flowering time, I suspect that not having a pure PCK might be okay, provided the results are good from the PDC male.

Had intentions of running other genetics next, but if this pollination goes as expected, I'll probably dive right in to testing those out.

Fucked around and didn't properly collect pollen from the first PCK male, so this is my last shot. Not taking any chances, and I'll let them live together for a couple of weeks outside until the deed is done.

Here she is at 4.5 weeks. Not really properly grown, as it started out with FF Light Warrior/EWC/Perlite, but has been fed GH nutes and treated like Coco.

Tried running some other stuff in Coco and it's doing well, but I don't know how I feel about mixing nutrients every week. So I have some soil cooking for the next grow.

But definitely an easy one to grow. Haven't had many issues. Giving off a nice sweet/fruity aroma right now. I'm sure the intensity will increase as flowering moves along.

Edit: a strange thing with this one is that it actually looks more colorful than it actually is. Perhaps it's the LED from the cab, or maybe the lighting in the room the cab is in just doesn't lend itself well to showing the plant's colors. We'll see how she does in the next few weeks.

This one is around 4-5 weeks old so far and will be topped soon. I’ll give it a couple more months of veg to gain some size. Staying pretty green so far.

Thank you,
That colourful one does look pretty interesting. Is it staying colourful as it gets bigger?

Me too! I am eager to see how pck performs, both alone and in hybrids. Good luck with flowering and your crosses :tiphat:

Looks like the cold nights were responsible for so much purpling. They both have green leaves now. Only difference is that the smaller one which had purple leaves now has a red stem while the green one, well, stays green. No smells whatsoever apart from a light citronella from the green one.

Smell on mine is straight up sweet/sour, although it seems like it might be developing a more earthy funk. Hard to tell. Starting the 6th week, so just a few to go. Probably end up feeding through this week and maybe next then just water until harvest.

The other one is starting to come along, but about 2 weeks behind. Slightly less sweet smell, but hard to tell yet. Should have good pics of that one in a couple weeks. I'm noticing slight hints of red/pink on her, but I don't know if it will stick around.

I grew 5 pck, one green male and 4 purple. My purples started with purple stems like yours and my green started with a green stem and stayed green. I had one purple pheno I took about 12 clones from. The leaves stayed green during the warm weather and turned more purple during the last 2 weeks. During the cold in December, the same clones had purple buds and even the shade leaves on the flowers were so dark they were almost black. You are correct about the cold.

Mine had a beautiful sweet berry/fruity taste. Here she is flowering during the warm weather. Sorry, I can't seem to find a picture of her clone flowering in winter.
Purple PCK flowering in September.

It makes a very tasty hash. That was the reason for the 12 clones, all went into the bubble bags. Hope that helps.
Peace, God bless

Here's the younger one. Spent life in 12/12, so probably only 3 weeks in, starting the 4th, if I had to guess - maybe a bit more. The led still adds more to the color than I think is actually present, but I'm digging the underside of the leafs. I flipped them up, they aren't like that normally. Also, resin glands seem bigger on this pheno. More sugary, less frosty, if that makes sense.

Also, among the worst of my bad habits - behind biting my nails and cigarettes - is sampling too early. It's something I've come to accept about myself, and I hope to cure it with a nice stash to get me through the tough grows. Took a couple lower nugs from a node on the more mature plant. Convinced myself it can use the energy on the top buds, we all know that was bullshit.

Anyway, I'm sure it's way too early to tell, but I'm pleasantly relaxed right now. Even this early, there isn't much motivation to do anything except maybe install a new Linux distribution. Certainly nothing that requires effort. I should note that I probably haven't really smoked in months, so zero tolerance. But it's good weed with a clean, pure buzz. Nothing cloudy or weird at all.

Fresh Main cup from fem PCK. Normal temps 70s F. 1 gal coco, untopped. Taken @ 10 weeks. Smells like blackberry brandy, wine, cough syrup, and a faint touch of marijuana/skunk.

Here's a pregnant purple one. There's 1 seeded calyx in the middle. The rest should swell up within the next week and I'll just let them mature. Should lend her color well and pick up some frost and a little stretch from the PDC.

Looking forward to the f2 generation. Hoping for a stretchy/frosty girl with tight little golf balls. But I'll enjoy growing them all out. Who knows what will show up.

Hi kamyo,

You will be able to produce very interesting purple colored and berry scented healthy offspring with that PCK male. The white/purple PCK female of long more numerous hairs in your post #1354 looks also like a good candidate to make seeds with her. Glad the early smoke reports are already producing a pleasant and desirable effect of your taste.

Thanks for the feedback and infos, Solar :) I really enjoy processing buds into hash and I'm always happy to find a suitable strain for dry sift. What differences did you find between the green and the purple pheno? Because my apparently green pheno seems to be much more aromatic then the purple one. They are different as night and day!

A little question for whoever used the green pheno for breeding: Does the offsprings of the green pheno inherits some purple pheno characteristics as well or do they behave more like the father?
