(Santa Marta's Colombian Red/Santa Marta Gold X Original Haze) S1, (@MadMac)
; (Punto Rojo de Santa Marta / Dorada de Santa Marta X O. Haze)S1 aka (Moño Rojo de Santa Marta / Moño Amarillo de Santa Marta X O. Haze)S1, aka  Cumbiambera. Born on May-16, she has the 5 lower nodes of the stem (10 twigs) pruned. More than 1'65 metres high.
Aroma of lemon and mint (Cuban mojito type) and something else that I still can't define...

It has always had purple calyxes, even when it was hot; but now with the cold weather it is totally purple, purple... I'm sure that Hendrix's classic "Purple Haze" comes to mind, but I'm more into "Moradito como un lirio"("Purple like a purple lily"), by Camarón de la Isla...

28-Noviembre:
I was able to return home for a few days, due to a break at work.
According to what people tell me here (and I was checking during these days of absence) from November 12, when I left, until yesterday, the temperatures were only 3 or 5 °C lower than those of the coast from where I returned; But a new cold wave means that starting today the minimum nightime temperatures there or, for example, @el mani, will be higher than my daytime maximums for the next few days.
[ The weather for today and the week, in my part of the northern slope of Sierra Morena, which is the highest and coldest in the entire mountain range; Wide oscillation, depending on the day, of nighttime minimums, between 0 and 9 °C (between 32 and 48.5 °F), and daytime maximums in the shade between 11 and 16 °C (between 52 and 61 °F) ] :

...And the "same cold wave", in the area, for example, of cousin Manisero...;...Up to 25°C (79°F) maximum in the shade...:

And this is how I find my two plants, without having received any care since November 11:
Thai A5 Haze fem (A.C.E.); Born on May-1, she has the 4 lower nodes&half (9 lower twigs) pruned. More than 2'25 metres of stem length;
& (Santa Marta's Colombian Red/Santa Marta Gold X Original Haze) S1, (MadMac); (Punto Rojo de Santa Marta / Dorada de Santa Marta X O. Haze)S1 aka (Moño Rojo de Santa Marta / Moño Amarillo de Santa Marta X O. Haze)S1, aka  Cumbiambera. Born on May-16, she has the 5 lower nodes of the stem (10 twigs) pruned. More than 1'65 metres high:
There's some weight on that Thai!

2 very different looking plants🙂

I'm a big fan of Hendrix! And Purple Haze.

Low temperature was 17 F today and high temperature forecast is 28 F which is well below average.

According to Weather Underground for November 28 the average high temperature is 46 F and average low temperature is 31 F.

Cannabis has several of those smells that are hard to define. Thats what makes it fun, and the different phenotypes have different effects based on those undefinable resins. Lots of different expressions. Takes some patience to get the terpenes in those plants. It will be worth it though.

How many weeks are you into the flowering cycle now? I assume you started the same time in early August since photoperiod determines the onset of flowering cycle. Is it around week 15 now?

Looks like she has several weeks to go yet.

That's a very kind offer cousin; I'd be happy to try her here in my garden next year.

Cumbiambera did not start to bloom here until the last week of September or first week of October, I seem to remember... At most, it takes 10 weeks of flowering (outdoors in my latitude), if I'm not mistaken...

Thai A5 Haze
fem (Chiang Mai Thai X A5 Haze; A.C.E.).
Born on May-1, she has the 4 lower nodes&half (9 lower twigs) pruned. More than 2'25 metres of stem length.
Its current aroma is slightly different: the first aroma I perceive is of pâté (the kind that awakens the appetite), then notes of lavender are perceived (less dry and intense than before; the smell of leather has disappeared), and the final part of lemon and mint has intensified and gained in freshness.

Whats a beautiful herb, cousin.
Thai is great, I really liked her here, especially after six months in the boat. I almost don't have any left...
I also like the cumbianera a lot, although it is less attractive of course, it will also be well received in the Mediterranean tropics jjjj

30-Noviembre :
It's a cloudy and drizzly day today, and only the wind is blowing and only the occasional break in the sun. The main part of the predicted cold snap has not yet reached my Sierra, and today the overnight low was 11°C (52°F), and the maximum daytime maximum in the shade of 17°C (63°F)

Screenshot_2023_1130_110450.png

...but as I mentioned yesterday, it is expected that during the next few days, we will have some night-time lows down to 0°C (32°F)
IMG_20231130_140238.png.png

...so before the rains and cold weather arrive, I'm going to make the most of these free days I have to harvest the Thai A5 Haze (A.C.E.). At the moment, I have cut the main cola:

...And continues being too early for rum...
