Original Haze hybrids and psychohaze phenotypes

Hiya @MAHA KALA, can you comment on origin and background of the Viet black you use? Interested in hearing method of any selections done (criteria for selection, # plants, etc), generations removed from source (Anon?), who worked it, etc.

I want to work Snowhigh VB but fear I may be in for a long road. Any insights could be real helpful!

I got it from Huesos. it is exactly black vietnamese x lieu hahn, and he calls it asian beauty. and I really liked the line. I have black vietnamese from solar logos too. will try it soon.

if it is known to me, all VBs came from Annon.

I didn't work that line, I only use one male from it. selection is still the same for me. it is based on smoking. so first I tested females, and I got columnar phenos, some of them colorful - that's I guess where it got its name black, and some green ones, those were good and some of them very psychoactive. and the most important I got green pheno which was not columnar, but its structure was like octopus.. and I was amazed by its high, very long flowering, strictly green and silver.

then I selected male, which was the same, at least it seemed to me, like that octopus rare pheno, silver vietnamese. strictly green too. nice big balls and a lot of pollen, but of course I didnt know what progeny will be like. but after some testing, it was clear, I hit the nail with it... I hit 4 elite cuts with it, nevilles haze, bandaid haze, acid haze and mango joy... and also mextasy cut. whole project was about finding sexually stable male for my acid haze, to keep south asian character of it.

I have one pheno of acid haze x vb/lh, which is like dad, it is flowering like 22 weeks, and it reeks sour mango. its character totally fits to description of dalat weed...

it was not reproduction of black vietnamese.

it is the same cut, ACE used in their crosses, I see many satisfied growers with it, either its super malawi haze or NH x panama.

I love this cut, one of my favorites when i was living in spain.

Man, you need to crack those beans from SolarLogos!!!! MrD offered those and I missed out, then SL made more and missed this lol. He really liked the VB selection of MrD.

SL shared seeds of a KA5 hybrid of VB with me which I LOVE. Clear, clean, long lasting. Not rocket ship but very up and focused. I suspect this is all VB - for me, Ace Malawi x’s bring some crazy confusion (which can be fun at times!!!), and A5 hybrids I’ve tried usually little muddy and disorienting, with tired comedown. Not a trace of this in the (KA5xVB)xVB.

Missed out on all the drama (glad of it) and just read up to the last post. Let's all remember what we even do this for? You want to the have the best weed possible TO yourself. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks, everyone's experience is different of course. Just grow as much of the type of cannabis you like. Breed like a man possessed and see what pops up. If it's good, cool. If it's fantastic keep a cut and try and improve. It's all getting fucking smoked anyway, let's be real . Anyways that old mango dab has done me in again. good luck with AN, it is improved NH towards classic sour green mango phenotype of south asian genetics, some ancient archetypes in there.
