Original Haze hybrids and psychohaze phenotypes

thanks. this is good report for true phenotype of black vietnamese grown at Hawaii:
"My fav was a short manageable sat, one cola 16 weeks flower, smoke a bowl and nothing for ten minutes. Then all the sudden, tunnel vision extreme stone. Flavor was a musky funky tobacco flavor"
so why you should not find something like that in acid beauty??? or better. fingers crossed you are lucky.
edit: it would be interesting if you could compare it to your mango thais, which south asian genetics collected recently. while acid beauty contains south asian genetics collected in 70s.

Hey everyone,
Thought I would share a smoke report of the Mindblower Haze 3, the one I think of as the Pineapple Metallic Haze. The Total yield on this plant was 4.3 OZ. Pretty good for 1/2 of a 2x4 tent and a 240w LED. She did however hog a little space than here sister.
The buds are whispy and loose, some nugs look like long fingers... much like the picture Maha posted earlier. They are caked in a layer of grainy resin. Holding a nug up to my nose I smell mostly an acrid haze... almost stings the nostrils. Busting the nug up releases the Pineapple and metal scents. The Pineapple isnt sweet pineapple, more acidic and one that is on the edge of ripe but not there. I rolled up about .5 grams into a Zig Zag white. Its dried to a nice rolling consistency.
Lighting up the joint I taste all the things I smelled... maybe not the metal shavings and the Pineaaple is a little more noticeable. A couple puff in I feel pressure inside my eyes and around my head. After I finish the joint it takes less that 5 min to hit me and my GF. We decide to watch Lord of the Rings : Fellowship of the Ring. I find myself completely enraptured... sometimes the epic music score sounds like its coming from behind me but I dont have surround sound. I feel an edge now to the high... a slight bit of electricity/anxiousness in my guts. We decide to take the dogs for a walk. The trees look really interesting shimmering in the wind and I have a great walk.
We get back and Im still very high. Sit down and watch some more LoTR. Any anxiousness has been banished by the sunshine of the walk. We finish the movie and when Boromir dies my girlfriend started crying. She has a soft heart but she didnt cry last time we watched this. She was super into the movie... but I wonder if the Mindblower blew her mind a bit too.
We both loved it and my GF has demanded that I grow a Haze again so I be growing one sooner rather than later.

hey bro. thank you for sharing your initial impressions. so it is edgy, little electric/nervous and some nice psychoactivity especially in hearing area. not bad at all for freshly dried haze. nugs look tasty. enjoy your hard work Duck.

this is interesting assumption why tropical cultivars need that long curing:
"The reason might be that the tropical narrow leaf, long flowering strains's trichomes are different from wide leaf short flowering strains?..perhaps the release or change in the terpenes is due to a thicker trichome outer membrane? Maybe sativas were selected (by the environment and human selection) and these selections (for eg potency) had a thicker or stronger trichome membrane to survive the 2 or 3 extra months of sun, wind and rain and this is why they require months of curing and storage to attain their peak high?
or is it simply that the terpenes in tropical strains are different from 55 day cultivators and they release/change at a slower rate."

one guy here went to Amsterdam and asked me about what to buy there, I told him mexican haze from Dampkring. yesterday he came back with some... it is nice to smoke it as reference to my hazes. quality was good. lime green buds. smelled very ammonia like cleaner in hospital with touch of sandalwood. good up high with some visuals, good consciousness shift. good psychoactivity, after 2 hours it declines and gets more stony and eyelids get heavy... after while it is classic stone with desire for bed...

one acid beauty is up already. acid beauty is combination of black vietnamese genetics and the best of citric thai phenos I found in about 40 females of Toms haze seeds. so very south asian genetics mix.
black vietnamese/lie hahn(Huesos creator), sour fruit and earthy spice. psychedelic luminous high, like low dose of mushrooms.
citric thai pheno of toms haze, acidic citric metallic earthy oily. special psychoactivity.
Loving the looks. I’ve two of the AB’s starting out and looking good.
hopefully you will get one female at least.. it is not feminized. in your climate it will grow itself... wish you good season.

Update on the Congo Creek Hazes
Both have a very lemony smell with the bigger girl having something else now that I can't pinpoint quite yet but it's very pleasant.
I had to super crop 3 of the tops and snip off a tip that burned from being too close to the hps. She was about 60" from the soil when I started cropping her. The stretch seems to be over finally but she's huge and spread out so much.
The smaller one is getting very hungry, she's faded a few of the fan leaves so I gave a topdress consisting of a bit of Alfalfa, Kelp, fishbone and a flowering top dress mixture. It'll take some time to breakdown, hopefully it'll help get her through. Should have used a larger pot.
These are about 5 weeks into flower.

wow Maha Kala looks like the juicy side (mom) has brought down flowering time in this cross. Could just be this pheno however but looks like this plant may finish in next week or so. those top flowers look almost done in this picture. can't wait to see what you think of this cross. I have a single juicy woo going and she doesn't seem to mind the rich soil I put her in. I post when she a bit bigger. anyhow, lovely plant MK.

guy, who is growing it, says that it needs another 3 weeks. he is sativa expert. so hopefully we will be able to see more colorful, bigger buds, some can be foxtailed a little. I have little seedlings of JW. good luck with yours.
all of these Mr. Shine crosses are hiding some commercial phenotypes. except of tropical boogie, which is special tropical kindness
