I’m a haze newbie & actually currently finishing up a second cycle within one year, started some Seedsman in June brought them inside and they are still going they are taking a long time this train takes a very long time!

I would feed it till the end, maybe last 3 days before chop only water. I grow in soil strictly. everybody has its grow style. so you have to figure it out yourself in the end... the best is to have one selected cut and grow it many times and later at the end of your journey with that plant you should know how to grow it properly. indoors.
in case you have proper climate, it is much more easier and you just grow it like any other plant. with love

Once you grow Haze it’s pretty obvious why people wanted to hybridize it in (order to get a bigger yield / shorter flowering time and larger flower calyx)
I use toms selection and it has big calyxes. great work by Tom Hill. RESPECT! and I use male as donor of that trait.

It does look good … any Haze is still going to be about selection, correct? …I seen good examples (and duds) all across the board

StrawberryHill, (PHaze x SCreme) x ( SCreme x PHaze) have done a number of Haze outcrosses, this combined the best for me. Haze is from TomHills offering back on OG when first released.

the first cross, (PHaze x SCreme Bx1) was done in 07, (SCreme x PHaze) was done at the same time, in another spot. 2010 I put um together. Have only gotten to the F2 so far, grow a batch every now and again. Currently have a small batch going for a outcross to the FiveFingeredFunk line (BlueDream x BlackToothGrin) pull the males tomorrow. Get a few F3s to look at, selected a few seed from the best outta 10 females last run.

yes, Tom sent a gag of Haze from 03, believe the generation that was gifted back on OG. He tried some bit ago and had zip germination. I put a few down after H2O2 soak and nothing. Just a quick trial. Will be starting um after Xmas, and most likely have to precrack the husk after a two day soak. This is the generation I started with many years ago. Still have plenty of his haze that I’ve done a few gens on over the years.
wanted to pry these from Tom as there was lots of purple in what I grew, and would like to work more of the purple.
over the years there has been a few cultivars that I have always wanted to get hold of, the old legends……
PurpleHaze, full on purple, and of course a banger. Have had many many purp plants, ive truely only had one that was full on, stem leaf and bud.
ChocolateThai, real deal up front no doubt about it it’s chocolate,
PanamaRed, grown a batch from a grower, not up on the cultivar, not much experience with um. Do know I’m looking for those that have that red clay type aroma, is what I’m told. Most likely have to go with Ace for um, but that’s down the road.
Comes to a point we’re you end up with a lot of your own works, and they need maintenance from time to time to keep the seed fresh. Only do so much.
so... I have been pushing things too much and burnt tips pretty good. Backed off a lot and things are improving. I knew better.
The tropical boogie very sativa leaves on left has done most of its stretching and is budding well. The thicker stemmed + fatter leaved one on right has pretty much just kept on vegging lol very slow.

I also found only one fully purple plant in toms haze, in around 40 females.
some legends are gone.. unfortunately. and their present form is watered down or transformed into something else.. I would love to get my hands on good choc thai line. I love chocolate smoke

I thought also that my surrealsV2 are 100+ but now I see that they will be finished around 12 weeks. tropical boogie will be longer flowering thats sure. maximally 14 weeks imo. you detect any smells?- Status
