Yep that will work. I used that brand in Florida. If you have a >Health food store near by check them out also. I used a real good one called Tree of Life.

thanks vonforne

That is why we are here......to help out the new growers to get over the bumps and complete their grows successfully. That way they gain experience and hopefully pass it on. That is why Gypsy gives out freebies......to help out a new grower.

sure has helped me..i've gone from not knowin jack about this to havin at least basic knowledge of what i'm tryin to do.the insight that i gained by takin the time to gather ingredients, and then put the mix together, cant be measured...i had 1 previous crop with miracle grow and it actually turned out pretty good, but i didnt have a clue as to why, or how the plants did what they did..i'm also learnin to watch plants, and listen to them..loads of fun.

My first crop ever was miracle grow as well. And it was not bad. I think we organic guys sometimes overstate things, and even harshness from bud that is too dry and burns too hot is attributed to "chemicals".

Let me look down on you a second though, just for good measure.

My first grow was with Peters 20-20-20. Turned out ok.....I burned the second one up with chicken poop. 2 cups I think in a 3 gallon container and they were dead in one week. LOL As you can see I was not discouraged enough to stop growing.

^Lucky for all of us here!^

I get to start my organics sooner than I thought, indoor veg garden, it's not cannabis but it'll do for now, and by the time I get to start my real grow, I will already have my good organic soil working. I am using tomatoes as a cover to grow soil lol!

i use the same pots for both as well, lets just say my tomato plants have some weird names. a-14,b-9,f-4. people think i'm nuts and keep track of the tomatos, i'm not that crazy.

when do you fellers transplant clones(in peat pellets) to lc's soiless mix # 1?..as soon as you see a root stickin out of pellets, or do you wait for more?...this is goin to be a very controlled, inside, winter grow under fluoros..can i put them in 12/12 immediately?..added bone meal, blood meal, and kelp meal(organic food recipe#1).and has been cookin for 2 wks,per burnones suggestion..

depends how rushed you are. best case scenario, wait for the roots to fill out the plug. edit: but not grow around

I threw them in too soon last time, and they showed a bit of stress and recovered.

If you don't have blood meal in there, nothing can burn them in the mix.

my mix contains blood meal, bone meal, kelp meal, compost and manure, peat, dolomite lime, and will add perlite as needed..(lc's soiless mix #1 and organic food source recipe #1)these clones mothers were grown in nothin but miracle grow moisture control.will that make a difference?..it'll soon be winter where i'm at so this grow will all be inside in a box.need them all to be same size and gonna go to 12/12 immediately..

Just make sure the roots hold everything together. You'll figure it out I'm sure.

If you so it too early and they burn, keep them going they will pick up.

getstimulated-
Yeah, your clones need to be WELL ROOTED before putting them into a mix with blood/bone/kelp. The nitrogen will kill young clones and seedlings.
Use plain LC's Mix for them.
Burn1
found the answer...one question..does "well rooted"mean a lot of roots and or length of roots?..if it has roots all around would that be sufficient to survive nitrogen?
