Cool, drip clean is another that Ive heard experienced people liking, but for me I couldn't tell if it helped. I know my drip emitters I used at the time clogged up while using it, but to be fair, I was using a real small pump.
I think your plan is a bit safer, don't think it hurts at least.
Heal up quick brotha
Youd think the drip clean would have helped with UNclogging those lines..and I assume 40 is gonna say it was most likely the silica or the nutes that clogged them not the dc.
Im just running the drip clean so I dont have to pull the plants out to water with runoff. When im healed better and have more time energy etc. Ill try no runoff with no drip clean and if i lock shit up ill be able to pull plants out to feed with runoff.
Fuk that no runoff stuff I yanked my blumats and am done with no runoff forever. Don't count on seeing a lock out in the leaves. They can look fine and the plant can be in a stall mode, which is far below optimum growth. IMO don't go longer than a week with no runoff- dc or not.
Dang 40 I think it was you who sold me on dc hahah. Ive been doing it in veg for about 2 weeks now and everything including the 1 in promix is exceling and look perfect. I was also looking into the blumats for vacation time dawg.. what happened? Locked em out and couldnt tell? Wih no other signs ie: clawing or deff signs.
Welcome to the dark side
Were you using any silica additives at the time?
Cant remember honestly if I ran those together. Im sure at one time I ran them together and separately but not as a test, just the nature of trying to figure what was going wrong back then and grabbing at straws.
I like to get a good 15% run off plus. But I know freds and some others killed it with no runoff drip clean and silica. Its all in the details. He had valves, I was using drip emitters with a little 396gph pump. those might have been the differences in effect. Just goes to show there is a million ways to skin this cat.
