I think the previous post should conclude the male killing posts of this thread.
Unless one of the girls should decide to go hermie of course... :)

Lemme now serve a little flowering pix without much comments.

Sorry bout the Q of the images. Rather old cam as well as the man behind it.... :)

C99 x GG is gettin closer.

Finally the Lebanese 27 x Hindu Kush is also beginning to do more of its thing.

The big Royal Dane is also beginning to fatten up. Lil more colours than the smaller more matured sister.

Thats it.

Due to a very nice sunny day here I went to take some shots of the girls.

Below Afghan x Erdpurt. Some 120cm but no flowering yet. Has lived in the shadow from other plants for a while but is now getting lil more light.

I guess it wont be to long before this baby will finish up. Perhaps not at once. Quite a difference from top to bottom.
C99 x GG

One of my disappointments this year...
Hollands Hope x Rheingold. They look rather thick but not too much flowers in there and will be hell in terms of molding in a few weeks Im sure.
Have two of those girls.

The smaller one:

And the bigger sister.

On to the proud Royal Danes.

The big sister is working hard these days to gain weight.
A real handsome girl now as the flowering has accellererated.

The small one is a real beauty I think. Very compact and thick buds. Had to shave a few small buds cause of lil mold. But nothing serious yet. Watching it closely. The bigger leafs are also getting tired so I guess it wont that long before this one will be ready.

A wish for a nice day for everyone.

God! Dontcha just hate striking the button on the side of the mouse by accident killing a good long post just as you were about to finish it....

Hiya people

Time for a lil update from here....

The last weeks slightly better weather here, with not that much rain and even some sun at times has been really good for the girls. Must say though that most of the week also been freakin cold due to some wind.

I know I have posted plenty of pix from my C99 x GG lately but Its really hard not to. This girl is definetely the one closest to harvest and is doing really nice, smelling wonderfull and has absolutely no trace of molding yet.

So heres another round:

The top:

Lil further down the side:

Finally a close one

At the moment Im trying to reach a decision on the following subject. The smaller one of my Royal Danes is, as I mentioned before,a very compact plant. Really nice one but as many leafs, also smaller ones now are starting to wither and I also have had to cut a few small buds because of mold starting Ive started to think whether I should take her in soon.
Optimally I would like to give it a little more time but think it´d be sad having a mold eksplosion in these thick and compact buds.

Have a look and lemme know what you think:

Lil different angle and light:

Closer on the top:

The other Royal Dane here is really catching on these days. Buds are thickening real fast. Quite different than the other sister. As the smaller one has a rather piss like smell to it this one is more sweet and fruity.

A small sidebranch:

One of the plants that has had a really hard time over the summers happenings here is this one. Identified as being a TAS x GG x DP.
Im sure the stress its been thru that has slowed it down but finally this baby is beginning to show signs of flowering. Dunno khow whether it will actually manage to finish up but I hope for a lil more sun and not to much rain and will see how far it goes. At least it has some nice coloured leafs for now :).

Another girl doing some really nice flowering now is the Leb 27 x Hindu kush.
I know this shot isnt the best but I love the colouring beginning to show on this one. Had 2 basic wishes for this years grow. One was having some more Indica dominated strains and another was having some beautifull coloured flowers as well.
This one has some of the colouring coming....

Some weeks ago I mentioned the Hollans Hope x Rheingold showing heavy molding tendencies. Of course Its not over but the development isnt going as fast as I feared at that point. Still not totally satisfied with the strains flowering going really slowly but not all bad. Still I dont think this strain is the best for growing in this area. Especially with a summer like the one we´ve had this year.

Full body shot of the two girls:

Best wishes for everyone, the dear ones and of course your grows.

A few fresh shots....

The Royal Dane sisters. Shot taken from standing on a box.

Say hello neighbours.... :)

The Royal Dane big sister (220cm) is really gaining weight. Perhaps not as compact in the buds as the little sister but "tons" of nice buds. After a pretty windy weekend Ive given her a pole for support since she was beginning to lean a little too much into the neighbouring garden.

An overview over "the field"

Peace

wow ole, the royal danes looks real royal! C99 x GG is a promising for our climate. i can see both strains in it

Yep wow...
Those Royal Danes are really fantastic. Im very impressed with them. Only "but" is that I fear they could be vulnerable to mold because they are so compact. I have had to remove a little from the small most mature one of them. With a more normal summer Im sure they will do even better and perhaps finish up lil earlier too. They will definetely have another go here next year.

The C99 x GG is a wonderfull girl. As I mentioned earlier there are no signs of mold at all, the smell is lovely and she is covered with resin.
One of this years great surprises really since this baby was quite slow untill it started flowering.
In fact as I write this I am seriously considering reaching for the scissor and take some of it inside as this years first harvest.
The weather forecast shows more rain the next days so perhaps...... :)

I always have a hard time deciding when to go..... :)

A new cross.....

Royal Dane x Nokia 6233 :)

Decided it was time to get this one inside. Since mold was beginning to accellerate...

In a perfect world (weather) I might have left it a lil longer. BUt this years weather has been far from perfect so....

Tusind tak Paddi.
Moder natur fortjener nu sin del af rosen omend hendes vejr ikke lige har været af den foretrukne type i år.

On to a quick update.

Both the c99 x GG and the smaller Royal Dane is now harvested.

This makes a new viewing angle possible for the remaining bigger Royal Dane. (220cm)

A little closer to the top of this very bushy girl. Must say Im a little worried for this girls ability to finish up without the mold taking to much of her nice buds. Im having a hard time keeping this girl dry under the skirts during all the rain :)

Different angle with a little more sun.

Lil closer. Really hope she will finish soon and best before the rain and storm Ive seen forecasted by the end of the coming week...
Dont think she will make it before that but hoping.....

The Lebanese 27 x Hindu Kush is doing its thing. Hope to see a little more flowers but the colouring is quite beautufull I think.

One sidebranch:

Another...:

Last the Hollands Hope x Rheingold sisters:

All for now.

Love and peace for everyone.

Sad about the HHxRG.
I crossed these because HH should be good in our climate and very mold resistant (and a nice stone) Also a quite early finisher outside....female was the best looking og all my HH's....it did really bad in hydro, indoor

The rheingolds is the plant with the most mold tendencies i've ever had.....but a knockout stone.....was originally bread in an airtunnel/greenhouse in switcherland by elmalo.....The rheingold was my best RG male.....and a good indoor plant with heavy singlecola.....Though it had mold tendencies

I was hoping to get something good out of it

Other plants are looking great :)

Looking very good there, OleBent! I hope the projected rain misses you, and mold-resistance is high.
That Nokia cross looks outstanding! Must be an up, party weed, lots of talking?!?
Best wishes, stay safe! HL

@stoned78
To be fair for the HH x RG cross we must also consider the very unusual circumstances this season with crazy amounts of rain and lots fewer sunshine hours than usual.
Must also say that the buds actually have improved some over the last few weeks after having a little sun. Also the molding has slowed down a bit.
But considering that these girls actually was among the very first to show preflowers as well as regular flowers they certainly have had quite a long time with very little activity.
Lets see how they finish and also what the smoke will be before we finally write them off for good.
Thanks for stopping by here.

@Highlighter
Thanks to you too. Yeah I sure hope the forecasts are wrong (pretty please).. Especially this friday does certainly look awfull with lots of rain and wind. Would be nice to finish this crappy season without losing to much more to mold.
