Of the 5 strains i have in my garden the Leb27xHK seems the latest flowering of them.
The males started some time ago but the females just recently started showing sex.
They are very compact and bushy
Despite the late flowering im sure they will yield nice but one thing i really like about so many ppl showing their plants is the difference between different grows of the same strains.

Yep the different outcome from the same genes are both somewhat confusing but also very interesting.

Started out with 3 Leb27 x HK. Think they were among the very first to show preflowers. The first female of them (KIA RIP I miss her :) ) was actually very low and compact.
As stated above this one is very different long & thin but still with the same very light green leafes.

As the saying is.....

A man´s gotta do what a man.....

So he did...
Turn the beauty into a pile of junk.

But indeed not funny at all killing one of your beauties this late in the season.
Especially when its a huge quite healthy and strong plant.....

Just those damn balls... :)

Didnt actually take a chainsaw to cut him down but....

This hand model isnt known for having a particularly small hand. :)

The operation left a big hole...

The other day when I still was able to keep myself in the illusion that it wasnt really those darn balls.

Strain was B3N7 x Erdpurt about 210 cm....

2 left of that strain.

One more of almost the same size... Not quite as well shaped but close.

And one smaller identified from the recovered ones.

Plz no more males now..... (Im not sure that´ll come true)

:)

Gimme some sun instead.

Wow, looking good olebent!

You've grown some very large and bushy plants. That Royal Dane looks massive. The C99 x GG#2 looks excellent and is well into flowering. I love to see new GG crosses doing well. I bet it will progress through flowering very quickly for you.

Great job growing those!

Thanks guys I try to do my very best.

@esbe U bet I wasnt happy at all taking down that wonderful plant. Now I just hope that the last two will not "turn on me" as well.

A few fresh pics of some flowering:

C99 x GG doing its thing. bout 180 cm by now Really nice xmas tree and sweet smell too. Hard to walk by her without rubbing the nose into her flowers. :)

Beside that is the two Royal Danes.

The smaller one is quite nice I think. Not to tall (approx. 170cm) but VERY compact. Not much stem visble on the upper 2/3 of her.

The sister is a much taller girl (about 215 cm I think) but not at all as far on into flowering. I have no doubt that the next weeks will get her growing fatter too.

Then on to Hollands Hope X Rheingold. Also have two of those. again one is somewhat smaller than the other. Be interesting to see how these ends up. Both having had some flowers for quite awhile but seems theyre gaing some more momentum now.

The bigger one first:

Besides her the smaller sister.

All for now. Take care everyone.

royal dane is a pride to my eyes!

Yeah those Royal Danes are doing quite good arent they....

I agree that the structure of the HH cross could lead to molding. Will certainly be looking out for that. Cant say Im shaking water of them every time we have a shower these days ( :) wouldnt have time for anything else) but will begin to do that more often as they fill up.

Must say I truly admire your know how.
Inspired by our small exchange about mold and the HH cross I went out and took a really close look...
Damn mold is already beginning to show its ugly signs...
And because of the structure I cant see how it will be possible to treat it if it begin to develop.
Am sure these girls are going to have a pretty hard time finishing up here without severe mold damages.

At least with a summer like the one we almost didnt have at all here I´d actually allready go so far as not recommending this strain here.
If what I see now is general for this strain it wont have another round here anyway.

Dads not mad just disappointed....
:)
Hehe a danish saying not sure whether it made the translation...

Hi

Back again with lil flowering pix.

Macro shots truly aint my rather old cameras favourite diciplin but I hope you´ll be able to enjoy them anyway.

Lets take a look.....

My Royal Danes are doing really great and is definetely enjoying the slightly better weather we are having these days. Some sun, wind and no rain. ATM it looks like this is the weather type for the next week or so. I pray that this is true.
The smaller one is still well ahead of the taller sister. The smell is increasing and its getting more dusty. A real beauty...

Tried to get a lil closer to the C99 x GG girl too. Really not that hard getting closer to her. The smell lured me real close. Further than the cam managed to grab. But one step back again it looks like something like this.

Was having a laugh the other night thinking about changing my nick to Murphy....
I know there are loads of guys out there worse of than me... But still I do get a feeling of this being somewhat a disaster thread..
At least considering where it started out....
Luckily my needs in terms of harvest isnt all that much. Still have leftovers from last season...
And I will be getting some good stuff from this year as well....
Unless of course I get hit by the last two disasters I can think of I havent seen here yet.....
Theft or bust...
:)

Hehe
Here we go again..
"Disasters" no. 117 and 118 :D

Two different plants and yes it is the two lovely remaining B3N7 x Erdpurt´s
Dont know whether the photos are clear enough to get it across.
But IRL I havent got much doubt left if any.... Perhaps just a slight hope of waking up tomorrow morning realising it was just a bad dream.
At least they have supplied my garden with the most wonderfull smell since they were 50cm´s or so....
Havent killed them just yet..... Hoping for that bad dream wake up thingy but......

Crazy isnt it....

I set out to get some great Indica genes going and excerpt for a rather unlucky (in terms of placement and provided sun) Afghan x Erdpurt and another really small plant ( Havent shown gender yet) which doesnt look all that healthy (never truly recovered from the big blast) all is gone by now....

So grotesk I cannot do much else than have a laugh at it....

Hoping for love and sunny weather for everyone.

Dont feel too sorry for me my friend.
I´ve decided to take a positive and humourous angle towards the whole mess...
It really is rather crazy having all these bad luck when all was set for a glorious grow this year.
We might as well have a good laugh out of it.

Of course I do agree that sun, wind and absence of rain wont do it alone. Really hope that the predicted slightly higher temps. will happen as well.

I wont give up on the Indian summer before the frost bites my ass. :D

And...
U bet I havent given up on growing some great Indicas later on.

Nice looking strain list and some really nice looking plants.
How is the Hollands Hope X Rheingold doing regarding mold?
looks like an almost impossibel task but have you thought about trimming it and spraying it with Atamon?
i inspect my outdoor grow for mold everyday but luckily havent had any yet but its also
some weeks until harvest so anything could happen.

I wish you a good and rewarding harvest

Hi

Todays lil story is I think about how amazing and strong the plants we enjoy so much really is.

Reading thru stuff here and elsewhere I do sometime get to wonder if people sometimes tend to do just a little to much spoiling of the plants.

OK Im all for giving the plants good soil and something to live off and killing most competition around them.
But im not sure how much than that more they really need....

The example here is a B3N7 x Erdpurt.

After being moved away on a day with heavy rain and storm thus losing much soil from its roots and then placed back this baby looked like this on July 13. Approximately 60cm and not to happy at all.

Shot taken today now some 170cm´s looking happy and well shaped. The ill treatment does not show much anymore. Excerpt of course its sibblings was (males) taller and wider. The development of gender seems unaffected as well. Last brother was killed just yesterday.

Havent done much more than be nice to it..... :)

Untill today of course when I had to take it down because of the balls showing.

The strenght and recovery isnt a total surprise but still quite impressive I think.
