You got to make seeds with that incensey girl. I hope i find similar Haze from my seeds, only a male ..but few nice incensey girls wouldn't do any harm either.

Since you have those C99 seeds going, and i read you're thinkng about buying soo more, how about finding a nice male and mating C99 with this Haze lady. But yuo were prolly alraedy planing this, ay.:)

Lets see some more Haze pics!

Actually I let a little of my Oldtimer's Purple Haze male hit 2 of the cindy's 1 is the spicy baby poo and the other is a heavy yielding grapefruit. I did collect pollen and want some on the trop's cutting!

I am all about the trops! Can't wait to bloom this one! I have 5 C99 males too but I prefer the F1's to F2's as a lot is lost in an inline cross beyond the F1 generation. That can be seen in previous remakes of C99. Of course people didnt know Bros were not coming back. Soul said they were on a year hiatus and never showed back up! People had already lost most of the males if they hadn't made seeds which wasn't as much a thing back then....

Dubi told me they did a c99 haze cross a long time ago and it was fantastic stuff. C99 passes a lot of resin!

Yea, OT Haze to C99 or Apollo, i'm sure is quite nice.
I have been flowering Spice Brothers' Apollo 11 x (Apollo 11 x Lieu Hanh) for few weeks, so i get to try Hazy/sativa Apollo 11 in few months. Lieu Hahn is Neville’s haze x Vietnamese male.

I bet that what has been lost with people's reproductions of Cindy has more to do with (poor) selection, than C99 being that way, that no matter what c99 plants you'd cross, they'd losing the good-stuff fairly soon. But i'm speculating
But how many closet breeders actually test the males/progeny they use? and how many males they test before picking one. Choosing a male based on looks, smell and resin production isn't a guarantee for nice effect or that it will cross well with the chosen female.

Thats the hardest part of real breeding is testing out progeny of different males from one specific line to see what come of what....Everyone now a days just picks a random male and goes for broke. Its hard to bloom out a bunch of males and keep them separate.

Today is day 80 of 11/13!!!! Feeling the stoke!!!! More spicy incense aromas coming through and most of the calyx tips are dark purple. A few leaves are going dark purple now too so I think I have atleast 4 more weeks on this girl and that would put me at roughly 16 weeks of bloom on 11/13. My c99's have a minimum of 3-4 weeks in there too. I really dont plan one pulling anything early as I am not on a time frame.

I see though why most folks dont run these sativa's as they yield less for the height gains but if one was to veg with proper training and a lot of branching I think the yield would definitely be increased by quite a bit depending on the methods used in veg.

Getting back on my day count so I don't loose track of time....88 days of 11/13 definately getting crystals now inside the mass of hairs! The hairs are actually dense sort of hard to the touch!

You have way more patience then myself...88 days +, no way I'm growing that!
But at least I can watch it happen.
Thanks for taking the time to share a long ass grow of a special Sativa!

Thank you very much for the compliments! I stayed away from pure sativas for years without a try and I had to give it a go. I have a cutting of this one but not certain I will keep her. I also have male pollen and many more seeds from Dubi! I also have the NEW C99 x Male OT Purple haze now so might run those at some point.

The last 96 days waiting have been a trip! I will update pics this week....

You probably have 3 or more weeks to go.

When making seeds if you are it's best to go past the point of ripeness for buds. :tiphat:

I have made many a seed and always leave them until I can see them popping out of the calyx's with nice mature husks. I am not in any hurry or worried about my day count. Its nearing 14 weeks so I expect a minimum of 2 but will probably wait another month. She looks to have a lot more bud than I expected off of such a small plant thrust into bloom I must say.....trichomes are showing more now and smell is spicy incense quite wonderful definitely old school sativa!

Jeeeez tomorrow becomes the first day I have flowered a plant for triple digit day counts! Today, day 99 of 11/13 I checked out the OT Haze with a 30x scope. Lots of trichomes now everywhere! Smells getting better by the day. All trichomes are clear with skinny stalks but large bulbous heads! about 15% of hairs have turned to red although a lot of those that have turned are seeded. Happy with overall growth and a much higher yield than on the Zamaldelica, but a lot more stretch too.

Considering taking her to 10/14 for the remaining 2 weeks but not set on that just yet as I have some more cindy's and an airborne g13 ready to go in.

wonder what would happen to the haze if I go back to 12/12 in 2 weeks then 2 more weeks bloom....

Leave them on the same lighting schedule.

You've gone so far. Don't rush or play around with it.

Bouncing photoperiods could = hermies. :spank:

yea, i wouldn't go to 12/12 either.

Shortening the light cycle to 10/14 should help them ripen faster, they say

I meant the upcoming 2 c99's going in to 11/13 from veg then back to 12/12 when the haze is finished....might move the haze and put it alone on 10/14 somehow....

If you only have one plant you want to move to 10/14 it's easy assuming the plant isn't too tall.
Maybe grab it after it gets 10 hours of light and stick it in a dark room or closet alone. Each day,
it goes back and forth from your lighted grow room.

I started doing the opposite thing with 3 small pure Indica males today. They showed sex today
and I am placing them in my other room for an extra 2 1/2 hours once the light in the grow tent
goes off. Giving the males 14 1/2 hours of light will slowly delay their maturity. Being pure Indicas
they will still ripen but at a much slower rate than my females getting 12/12. This will allow the
females more time to build up their pistils for when the males finally do release pollen. I'm hoping
my stall tactic will give me an extra week before the males release pollen.

I wouldn't do this with many plants though. But it does give me some exercise doing it.

Well, if you're gonna flip the C99s from 11/13 to 12/12 you will have to change the cycle 10-15 mins a day/two days, they say. Not so that you flip whole hour of more light to them at once.
I have never tried this personally, but i have read about it.

I might just do it over the course of a week then....

That's it, Holmes!

Odelay Holmes!

104 days of bloom on 11/13! Approaching 15 weeks. Visible trichomes have surged over the weekend! I now have a bit of stretch on the bud stems leading away from the main stem still fairly small green and purple calyx's on the tops. Not sure what to think at this point but she will go atleast 2 more weeks. Looks like she needs 10/14 to complete the cycle will try to figure out that over the next 48 hours. Smells great! Will get pics this week. 85% hairs still large and white.

Getting motivated to get her finished.....
