I see a seed on top of the red color rotten berry one

I hope so, rolandomota. They were both supposed to be pollinated with the only male I found from this pack of old 3F x 6M OTH lineage. I hope this particular pairing lives on as those original plants are long gone.

I went to visit the rotten berry plant after my holiday trip and subsequent bout with the illness brought back from. She had been in high wind and cold rains. When I found her, she was completely on her side in touching the earth. I hosed her down to remove as much of the dirt, sand and small rocks as I could. They were happily clinging to her resinous sides. The sun was positioned in such a way that she wasn’t very photogenic. But well ready for the chop, I did just that and propped her up in a few locations to take advantage of her beauty along with the surroundings.

From a distance, she is so dark purple as to almost seem black. In shade, she truly does.

She is wet from the soak. I’ll still need to knock off dust and rock bits as she dries. Sticky little girl.

Goodbye to 2021. I look forward to a nice dry and cure for both of these beauties. The Old Timer’s Haze is very deep in my heart and gratitude. I say goodbye to the past year and the Covid gloom (even inside of my own lungs as I type this).

I plan on getting back to the pure green side of this OTH line. I suspect I will pull from some old seed stock that you provided me, dubi. The packs I have are labeled (compact and early) and (tall and long). I feel much more positivity heading into 2022 than I have in the past several years. I can’t wait to find out what will come.

Happy New Year to all of you.

Hola Dubi

Hi Dubi

A project finishes and another project starts
I am sprouting some of your genetics for this 2022 season
I received 2 packs of Purple Haze x Thai, which supposedly had low germination but happily they sprouted very well. At the moment I have a total of 6 plants out of 9 that sprouted in just 36 hours in tropical climate. One of them is this freak. Do you know the name of this phenomena? I have a plant like this which is coming from a Senegal Haze x MadMac Ohz cross, and she is slower than her sisters. It took her one month to grow out of this and grow normally. Now she is in flowering but hardly making any bud. In a couple of months I will take her outdoor

Hola Syd,

Yes the meao thai crosses are our latest sativa projects, you'll find in this sativa lines enough breeding potential to develop many super sativas.

A selected meao thai male (father line of Cannabiogen's Destroyer) pollinated different african, SE asian and haze mothers:

Malawi x Meao Thai -> Amazing resin production, high yields, high vigour, outstanding potency, around 14-15 weeks flowering time from seed. Good flower/leaf ratio.

Vietnam Black x Meao Thai -> Massive yields and vigour, very tasty earthy lemony sativa buds, very high resin production. Flowering time around 14 weeks. Good flower/leaf ratio.

Vietnam Nah Trang x Meao Thai -> Spicy lemony se asian aromas, very up clear and motivating high. 16 weeks flowering time. Leafier than first 2 hybrids.

Koh Chang Thai x Meao Thai -> Late flowering, gigant thai bushes, strong lemony aroma, a little bit leafy, psychedelic motivating dreamy high.

Purple Haze x Meao Thai -> Late flowering, tall sativa plants, purple lemony incensey aromas. Strong psychedelic high.

Green Haze x Meao Thai -> Late flowering, tall sativa plants, old woody lemony incensey aromas. Strong psychedelic high, more introspective than purple haze cross.

We also did an angolese liamba x meao thai and zamal x meao thai. Angolese cross are being distributed for free (non commercial hybrid).

Malawi x meao thai, vietnam black x meao thai and angolese x meao thai finish around mid-late November. Viet Nah Trang x Meao Thai finishes early December.

Thai Koh Chang x Meao thai and Haze x Meao Thai finish between winter solstice and january.

I hope it helps. dubi - ACE Seeds -

Is this a limited edition release? I see very interesting crosses I would like to try in this list, I would like to try almost all of them, are they still available???. Man I want to try your angolese liamba!!
Should I expect something similar to Purple Haze x malawi? I had plants with different phenotypical expressions but all of them made same buds with the same high(is this same genotype?)

Muchas gracias y feliz Reyes!!
Thank you very much and feliz Reyes!!

FunkyHorse,

do some searching in my threads as I may be one of the last to grow the haze x Meao Thai’s. They aren’t available anymore though I have some of the purple and green version still in ‘the vault’. I also have a bit of each still in jars from my grows several years ago. In my opinion, the effects are quite nice, but are a little colder than the Malawi crosses. The Meao Thai is a beast for the brave at heart. Good luck!!

Thank you UHN for taking the time and effort to grow and post, very inspiring and interesting for those of us who can't grow these long flowering sativas. Hope you can clear the infection without problems.
Funkyhorse, the ace website already lists new strains for 2022. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but goes in that direction.
Happy new year for everyone!

Thank you on multiple levels, common sense. Seems the worst of the symptoms have passed. Looking forward to some more long legs in 2022. I am very fortunate to be in an area where I can finish outdoor plants in January with no greenhouse. The OTH genetics are very tough indeed.

The dark purple plant dried pretty quickly due to its airy nature. I threw it into a paper bag yesterday, but still continued to dry. So I trimmed tonight and she’s in a reasonably airtight plastic box at about 67%. I’ll burp every few hours down to about 64% and then into jars.

Magnificent, buds to look at for hours.

Excellent comment, JustGrowing. We look at them for many hours over the long haul and love them the whole way through. So brilliant when we can grow them au nauturele outdoors. Makes life so much easier to get nearly perfect finish. Of course, the tropics would add her own acclimated kiss for originals, but I feel like my area treats these OTH pretty fairly and the likely fact that they came at some point from the haze works and selections in N. Cali, suggests why she can easily handle the
moist and cold we get in the ‘winter’ of Southern California.

This one looks like an old pack
This one is a tri, are there other references of phenomena like this or the PHxT shown in the previous post in the oldtimer hz genetics or this is just luck?

Hehe. Thank you very much!! Flowers just going into jars this week, so solid smoke reports are a few months away, but definitely looking forward to it.

I like your baby. Good luck with her indoors. My OTH definitely prefer the SoCal sun, but I have run them under lights in the past.

Here’s the house plant version of 3F x 6M OTH. She was a lot stringier than her sister due mainly that she was completely pollinated by the only male I found from this pairing. Took the majority of her energy but she was still spitting a few pistils when I chopped her. These are but a few of the seeds as many are still locked into her flowers.
