Definitely strong sharp musty and hazey notes. That is a absolute definition for any of the OTH wares. Once you identify it, you could pick it out of a genetic lineup anytime. There’s a bit of the purple fermented aroma, but I’ve smell it more strongly in other OTH progeny. It’s been cold out here, so the purple is presenting as hard as she can.

She is a real stunner, dubi. I’ve not chopped any pure OTH this early so I won’t start that trend now. Really not sure if my pollination took about 4 weeks ago. Might as well let her go for a few more weeks. The next chance I will see her won’t be until nearly New Years.

No real amber to speak of anywhere on the plant. Looks like she could have one more small reflowering.

Rotten berry aromas a lot more prevalent with the sun fully on her.

I'd love to give it a go once as a kind of gardening challenge. Although how long does it take for them to show their sex ?

PS:
Never mind. I found Corky1968's answer, 5 or 6 weeks apparently for sexing. That's fine with me. If I ever do go into an OTH project, I'll need to factor in 2 months for the sexing alone.

Good luck, Lebanizer. If you have pure OTH, I’d say about 75% chance (or higher) of a female. I live in a magical place that lets this plant finish well outdoors. Indoors, she’s a real project with sub optimal results in my experience. Of course in all honesty, all my indoor projects are sub optimal to outdoors.

High all!

Oldtimer's Haze is finally available after 2 years of hard work with CBG breeders. We'd love the line will be preserved in its original form in many places as possible.

I am still growing strong with my line of oldimers from 2007, I am still stabilizing the strain weeding out sickness and runts. its getting more stable every season and I have some amazing Fems this year! so glad to be part of this ride going on 20 years soon :)

Here’s the other female from the 3F x 6M line

Shes not quite as dense and photogenic as the grove female, but still quite beautiful. Less purple, but still noticeable. Almost a reddish color.

The grove female has more of the red wine aromas. This plant seems more straight up metal haze, but we will sniff for sure in final cure.

That's correct Lebanizer approx 2 months from seed to know the gender of your Oldtimer's Haze.

Wowza :hotbounceUr Humbl Nr8tor this other 3x6 female is also a wonder, love her elegance, beauty, exoticness and resinous aggressiveness.
Have a great Xmas time! :ying:
