Dawn
Dawn
I too am a early riser and the Sonoran Desert is in the morning for me is always a wonder. As you can walk the desert around your feet alive with all kinds of life. At about 2 am I have a Northern Mocking bird this year who sang his night song. Then about an hour before dawn you can hear the Quails starting their forage. I have a water hole I tend to visit and watch the Javelina come the desert Mulies. Some you can see cat scat if you take the time to sit and look at the desert floor around you one can see the highway of life that took place through the night. I walk these lands of the Dragoon's, Huachuca's, Pinelos, Chiricahua Mountains, and the desert floor between them. It is a great comfort to me to know this is where I started this is where I will end.
But of course being so close to the border and todays climate it can be dangerous. and if you are a rancher in the Tombstone area your automatically profiled as a militant. I hauled 2 30yard dumpster of shit left over from the crossers just last year alone we wont go there.
Dawn
I am also an early riser. An additional benefit of getting up early is one of my favorite buzzes is to have a cup of coffee and a couple of hits of good weed right after getting up.
The quiet and the freshness of the day makes it a great time for thinking and coming up with new ideas and solutions to problems.
