My whole family has Cherokees, one has a Comander, love them, they just run and run and run and run, brakes and tires are about the only things they ever need.

but yeah, back to the thread at hand!
My Willys was a Jeep, although a bit older model.
I thought it was a compliment that I'd trade my current ride to get it back!

Later!

i used to have a 89 xj , they are safe rigs, i put one in a ditch when i fell asleep driving and that was the end of it, if you have the older style cooling system i would recommended doing the swap to the 92+ and that will get rid of your overheating troubles, the 4.0 high output engines are powerful but jeeps break a lot. I always see them broke down on the side of the road.

I had a '98 XJ with 3.5" RC lift + 1" spacers. Sold it when I moved back stateside.

Probably one of my favorite vehicles to work on. The I6 is a beast. 190k when I sold her, and am sure she is still chugging right along.

Nice job on the front fenders, atleast from what I can tell. I have seen way too many wheel well/fender hack jobs when I was Jeepin'.

Do you rub at all now? It looks like your cuts are high enough that a 35 might just fit. I bet you wish bushwhackers were a lot cheaper...I always did.

Oh and they sell plastic/rubber molding that will fit around your fender after you cut. Makes it look a bit more finished.
