All good suggestions DG wasn't trying to get at ya would've hoped BH sent you the details of who made the threats if in fact it is the gen story. But I agree on the security front. The idea of getting some exotic cutting from pics seen on here may be appealling but you got to balance it & how you go about it against any overall security risk. (Among other reasons why someone may give out personal info)

Anyways they are right across the street from each other...The 2 barney shops...Just 1 sells cannabis but you can puff in both places...One sells alcohol and does breakfast the other is just a coffeeshop....

Their caramella is excellent but their G13X Haze is a fuckin' disgrace to cannabis...Nastiest smelling shit I have ever smelled including the nastiest mexi batches you could imagine when we were young....The funny part is it looks right....My god what a gross piece cannabis....

Good to see Barneys continuing to disappoint...after the whole reeferman thing i figured i wouldn't buy anything from there again - an interesting post on the subject appeared on ignatzmice the other week :

I thought the G13 x Haze smelled like baby sick. WOuldn't buy anything after experience with their seeds which is a pity because the Crimea Blue was an alright smoke & so was the iceolater made from the Violator Kush.

And yes Boo,best flowers are to be found at the Grey Area....And the customer service from John is second to none in the city....He is will to let you see no matter how busy and never takes the warm smile off his face...
I would pull my hair out with his job in such a small place but he just puts it on cruise control and pushes through the day with great attitude...
Service is good almost everywhere....G.H.united,Sensi cafe,Green Place,Grey Area,and Katsu stick out...All are cool with you bringing in your smoke just be curtious and buy a drink...Sensi does not sell but the staff are excellent and welcome stoners with open arms...
As far as gear.....#1 is locals for the best gear...For shops....I recieved some excellent Moroccan from Tweede called Laila from the Rif collection...Most of that stuff is hype but the Laila is the real deal killer,,,a little hard pressed but turns to putty with just a warming....Katsu has some good gear...
King Hassan and Temple from GH were good when I got them early on...
Mexi Ice from BB is strong and bubbly but I do not know from where or what it originates...Looks more like moro than an ice...
Theres a few more to go with the absolutely killer local CHUNKS I procured....

Any plans to travel around a bit yet?

I would love to read some reports from other towns from you.

When I come next week, I will be visiting a number of places before Amsterdam as well as after - I just love travelling around and sampling the wares and culture, lol.

Amsterdam is way overpriced with low quality food on the whole, don't you think?

Maybe I'm spoiled here in Italy with every restaurant (away from the tourist trap areas like central Milan) selling delicious fresh food at prices about 1/2 or 1/3 of the prices charged in the Dam, as well as the fact I enjoy cooking at home, which makes you have higher standards too.

For example, where I live I can get a large size pizza with fresh Porcini mushrooms, all prepared fresh the same day, and cooked in a wood-fired oven for 6.50 Euros; the nicest pizza I've ever tasted and if you ever get chance to come down here, I think you'd like it too, lol.


Will it be possible to post pics as well of the wares please?

I presume you're using a wireless laptop, or are you posting from internet terminals in cafes?
