Oaxaca A5 Haze feminized

Thanks Ace for the beans. This is week 9 of flower. I have 6 that germinated together. 4 are in RDWC and 2 in 5 gallon buckets with big box soil. All were manifold to 8 cola during veg. They're under 1200 watts of LED. I've used Advanced nutes for the DWC. This grow has been amazing. although a bit of work on the front end. As an older representative of the current weed scene I will say that the soil grown, albeit stunted compared to hydro, has the smell I remember from the mid 70s gold. So I don't miss my window I have a question. Do the trichromes on this variety go amber?

Complete break. Imagine a cartoon gun barrel exploded after bugs sticks his finger down it. Just shredded the main stem to pieces.
Im sorry man! Hopefully the rest quarter will give you some good bud in the end, so you can elaborate the plant a bit! Storms can be a pain in the ass for some crops. Greetings, i feel you 😢

Hello everyone, I present my Oaxaca x A5haze germinated on June 28. I kept it for two months in a small pot, a medium-large sized plant with little stretch in flowering. Subtle lemon and floral smell and something metallic. flowers airy and not very compact the shapes of the flowers look like super Malawi haze with that shape, the smaller flowers have some seeds I think it self-fertilizes itself

Welcome to ICMag @OldTopper and thanks for your suport.

Happy to hear you’re pleased with how this strain is performing in your hydro setup, and that the aromas bring back nice memories from the 70s :)

You can expect the trichomes to start turning amber around this time, after 11-12 weeks.
How are they doing. Do you notice different expressions, or any stand out ?

Love the way how you grow sativas in pots on the terrace @El Quijote ;) they get plenty of sun and excellent cares with the right nutrients at the correct pH. She must be getting close, hope the weather is cooperating!

I really like how easy these have have been to grow. 4 out of 4, 3 indoors and 1 outdoors, zero issues. Took a massive overwatering outdoors like a champ and kept going. Took being broken in half by a storm and bounced back. This outdoor one has a citric and floral musk kind of smell, not super strong but absolutely lovely.
None have been nutrient sensitive, the 3 indoors I underfed a bit with initial worry about the Oaxaca side possibly being sensitive. Nope. I’m re running 2 of the phenos currently and plan to not let up on the feed until near the end.

Late season aphids do seem to like her though. We always get these dark gray little bastards in November when all the other crops come down and the winter crop hasn’t come in yet.

Thanks a lot for sharing pictures @Cactus Squatter :) glad you find this new sativa dom strain rewarding and trouble free. Beautiful well developed colas with an organic look and natural fade finishing in the greenhouse.
I'm sorry about the loss from the storm, hope still you can still harvest enough to keep the wife happy until next season. Huggss!

Hello dear @dubi, thank you very much for your praise and words. It is very motivating for me knowing that you are a great teacher and a great connoisseur of cannabis breeding🙂. Oaxaca x A5haze was cut on November 5, it suffered a lot from the storms, very wild flowers, very airy and large in size, the flower clusters have a very similar similarity to super Malawi haze, a very interesting plant with many flowers, it is not very odorous, smell Citrus like green orange with something
lemon, floral, sweet and somewhat metallic, the flowers look like wild marijuana in about 3 months I will send a smoke report greetings to all✌️

My pack came yesterday along with Oaxacan x Panama regs but will have to wait until next cycle to pop one. I got a pack of Oaxacan Gold from GMountain also. It's going to be Winter in Mexico for me, haha. Oh, and I'm currently running Red Snake x Cryptic Labs Oaxacan. :)
