Oaxaca x A5 Haze - Flowering Day 84

Seems to be a very long flowering pheno, 11 weeks doesn´t work for this one
Had some issues with thrips, but it seems not to get worse actually.
And she is extremly hungry, need to be feed like crazy.

Buds recently added some weight.
I´m not so good with smells, but sweet, may some orange.

I also had a heavy thrips attack, but your plant still looks good. I´m curious what you´ll report about the effect, when she´s done!

Wonderful development @early_bird love the way you get the best from our sativa genetics.
Oaxaca foxtailed flower structure, with the vigor and volume from A5.
Are temps in the room a bit higher than usual ?

Thanks, these flower clusters also reminds me a lot to the A5, have a A5xHaze that looks very similar.

I had not much light in there, between 86-100 Watt max, guess i would have much bigger buds with stronger light. Installed a Sanlight a week ago and now buds are gaining weight.


Yes, it´s quite warm inside, i guess i hit over 30°C often, Ventilation has to be improved, how do you know ?

I have commented previously here and there how peaks of high temps (usually in indoor summer grows without air con) delay ripeness and induce more reflowerings.

Well I'm not the best at describing complex smells but my 1st impression is leather and acidic citrus. She's finishing week 11 and is in the windows now.

6 Liter Pots, had heavy thrips infection early on.
Light is 9.75 on / 14.25 off

Still white, shooting new growth everywhere, it´s crazy.
Switched from selfmade lamp with LM301B in 4000K to a Sanlight Evo at day 75, improved development a lot from then...
The stems are just about to break, all fan leaves died, just buds left, never had a plant like this before.

I´m going to loose patience, need the room for other projects
If the plant continue to grow buds like this i loose anything to mold anyway, hope she stops bud growth soon, this is tooooo much :-/
But also super impressive to watch this little plant.

How are the smells in this prolongated flowering stage ... and are the buds sticky?

Resin development is not very impressive, but ok for an Sativa, depends what you compare it with.
The buds feel sticky if you touch them.

Smell is very orange dominant with citrus nuances.
With some artificial smell like perfume.

These are the smells I am getting along with a really pretty floral perfume smell on one of them. I’m only around 20-25 days of flower though.
Pretty decent stretch on them.

Oaxaca x A5 Haze - Harvest @Flowering Day 105

Reminder, 6 Liter Pot, 86-100 Watt till arround Day 75, then Sanlight Evo with little more light (110-130 watts).
Heavy Thrips infection early on, hot temperatures arround 30°C which may delayed flowering.
Growpattern was A5 style buds clusters with Thai foxtails, all hairs where white till day 100 with new growth till the end.

Suddenly the plant start to die, hairs get brown from one day to another, didn´t drink water anymore, then i harvested instantly.
You see it in the picture, white hairs on one bud, the other looks like mold is knocking on the door, this change happens from one day to the other.

For numbers, yield was insane, i have to weight everything again, i suspect i made an error, but let´s just say the yield was very good!
But i´m not impressed with resin development, was rather low but not very important for me anyway. The Buds are quite fluffy sativa style.

I vaped in the Volcano, quite some amount to have a proper impression. I don´t smoke daily and have lower tolerance.
Smoke is pure Sativa, starts with strong up-high for 45 minutes reminds me on Bangi Haze to some extend, instead of chilling i went outside running, haha.
Trippy, which reminded me a bit on Zamal, was even confused at a point where i am exactly, haha. Psychedelic state like mentioned in the description describes it very well.

More on the introvert side without being to introvert, little bit "nervous" feeling, but not to much, still enjoyable, may some A5 traits come a little bit through here.
No body stone, had quite some duration, felt it a little all evening and could sleep well later.
I make an Update here if i notice changes during curing.

Would say this is very good weed.

Pleasant mindfuck nails it.

The aroma is sour Lemon.
I let the buds dry i bit to much, but still... just opened a jar and this sour sting in the nose while opening it - really like it.
It´s a very different citrus fruit aroma than Juanita/Cannatonic/etc.. which is more Fanta-Graipefruit super-sweet orange. I experience it also a bit different from the lemon undertones of some sativas where lemon is one aroma more or less present between other smells.
It is very, very sour. Quite unique.
When you catch the smell you may squinch your face while your mind is saying you are about to bite in a lemon which can be some memorable experience for your senses.
