Nice plants Pineapple_Punch!
Any updates on your grow?

Thank you Dogtown! Sadly there is no real true male to make a repro in a normal way, there are 2 plants who herms, i use the pollen to make at least a few seeds. Can already see tiny seeds developing. There are 3 Girls who looking very promissing so far, no nanners till now, nice tight internodes, no smell till now.

It's very early in flowering stage, looks like the 2nd week, one looks like she is in week 3, but it's a hermie. Plants needed pretty long to show their sex.

With the best Plant i'll make a cross with Vermontmans Oaxaca79SKULL, which is a great worked Heirloom line in my eyes, easy to find a nice stable male.

Nice plants Pineapple Punch.

Instead of giving away the pure Oaxaca 1979 x Oaxaca S1 to an Austrian grow shop have you thought about sending it back to elchischas where it originally came from? Apparently elchischas has lost all his precious Oaxaca 1979 genetics. Just a thought.

Hello Organik, thanks for your Post. Well the genetic lineup of this cross isn't Oaxaca79 x OaxacaS1, it's Oaxaca79 x Oaxaca. The 2nd Oaxaca (male part) is from a different line.

I already got a little message from a grower friend who told me that it wouldn't be in elchischas sense that someone ( Cloneshop) makes Money with it. He has or had much more contact with elchischas than me, im not really in contact with elchischas.

And i think elchischas could easily get the original Oaxaca79 CBG is using back, or some of the S1 Seeds, he knows Charlie.

Some time ago there was a user who created storys to get rare genetics ( a lot of mexican) to sell them in the End. And the Seeds he has had Sold not even were pure anymore. So what i wanna say, there are people who try to manipulate others to get rare stuff to make money in the End.

Seems Mexican genetic is the hardest to get today, just holded by a relatively small cycle of people. Maybe one Day it's for the masses, who knows, but for now it's not wished like it seems. Until then i'll grow these for my own consumption and don't step on someones toes. Will just make some little crosses and share these with very few people i can trust.

Will still upload Pictures on the progress.

All the best :tiphat:

Some of the Oaxaca79xOaxaca plants are very vigorous. Have topped them a few times after i switched to 12/12, stretching like hell now. All the plants you can see on the picture are in the same 11.5L Pot.

Have made some better Pictures today. The fastest flowering Plant on the 2nd and 3rd picture sadly is the hermie one, the Pollen is viable and already has dusted the other Oaxaca79xOaxaca girls. And i also pollinated some of the Jaggen plants which are in the same chamber, already can see the Seeds developing.

That looks like the old school mexi sativa Reminds me of when we were little and would start our bag seeds.

Hi Pineapple_Punch,

Beautiful mexican sativas! The pungent and refined peach incensey aromas of the Jaggen has great potential to produce a nice blend with the oaxacan 79 floral, musky and incensey smelling phenos.

Wish you find good non hermie parental plants to keep working with the line.
Best wishes!

Yes i think a cross with the Jaggen could lead to some nice Plants, with a good yield as well.

But my main goal is to cross the Oaxaca79xOaxaca with the Oaxaca79SKULL. I don't think they are much related, very different smell. The Oaxaca79SKULL has a very nice piney smell with different spices and slightly berry notes, reminds me to a perfume for old men. Very fine trichome heads. Great high on the SKULL, no heartracing or other bad feelings. Ah and it's a regulary line.

I haven't grown the Oaxaca79SKULL to her full potential, it was a very hot summer last year, the coco dried out extremely fast, salt build-up etc. But it was good enough for a first representaion.

Here from my grow last year.

I saw on the R&D site it is 4 females xPanama F10. Interesting to know which Oaxaca fems were used and for what reasons. I saw the photos in the early post and read about the breeding in the beginning and thus became interested in learning more,so as to know what to expect when I grow. Thanks for any info.

Hi ULMW,

I selected 4 different Oaxaca females from the S1: females 8, 16, 23 and 24. I'm just giving out for free seeds of the Oaxaca 23 hybrids among friends to check their potential, which so far look very promising, as Koondense' Oaxaca x Panama grow diary shows off.

Oaxaca #23 mother is probably my favorite of the 4, with #24 coming close. Both are very similar and have amazing musky floral super refined and complex incensey terpenes, and a trippy cerebral central american sativa effect of the highest quality. Oaxacan mother #16 is the better yielder, also musky floral and incensey, but more lemony and with more body stone. Female #8 is the quickest to finish and she is a more uplifting lime phenotype.

I just produced some seeds (not many, around 150, but should be enough to test it) of Oaxaca x Kali China, which shoud be an incense paradise too.
