Nomaad OD:2010

P

planty

Ive also turned my heater up the past few...Past three nights have been 30 , 27, 29...74 in the green house :)

If you watered them heavily and they got cold(espcially in the root ball) they went in to a bit of a shock/stasis...warm em up.

I have no need for the love of people who refer to latino immigrants, legal or illegal, as "dirty spics." I'd have let it go by now if you hadn't also said "in no way was that comment racist. grow the fuck up. they deserve that name"...

you can keep your love and empty juju.

Stop. Talk like that is against the TOU and will not be tolerated. Has nothing to do with sensitivity. Respect the rules or you won't be here. I will not warn any of you anymore. You know what's next.

YesProp: the words themselves are just names. When you put "dirty" in front of the word, it becomes even more hostile. I am just sick of it. I invited a family over for dinner, their kids go to school with my kids... next thing you know, the guy is dropping n-bombs and talking about latinos like they are garbage. at least he waited for the kids to leave the room. what do you do with people like this?

Kharma: I'm not trying to be confrontational with you, just trying to understand what you are saying. Has something I have said put me at odds with the TOU?

just read this front to back--nice job on your project
the soil info has my attention,I went from FF to Roots two years ago with improvement.
I'm curious how the GF works out.I'm also leaning towards Subcool's blend
great stuf so far, keep it up....one question, when is the "right" time to put a plant outside in your general area?

TF! Good to see you. I am going to see how FFOF stands up to the Roots Greenfields this year. I hope one is not inferior to the other. I guess I might have to come up with two separate feeding regimens for the two soil mixes. I will look into subcool's blend. Got a link?

The "right" time to put plants out here is kind of strain dependent. I got plants out last year at the end of May and some flowered early on me. This year, I'm going to put out a round on the 15th or so. I was going to go earlier, but we got a bad frost this morning and some wet snow and frozen rain the other day. The plants are already getting shocky in the greenhouse without the heater running. I need to get them out of that shock before transplant and want to avoid a reshock when they do get transplanted. The fiorst round that goes out will have supplemental light on it to keep it from flowering.

In the garden where no supplemental lighting is needed , I have some extra plants I may put out for a few days on the 15th and see if they start to flower before putting out the rest of the full season crop. My good friends put their BD out last year on the 15th and had no problems. The Pineapple Cough, my other main OD strain, is more of a mystery... That is the one that I'll put a tester out on the 15th. Not sure what will happen. By the end of May, everything will be out. Anything that flowers early in the garden without supplemental lighting will go into the black box, but I am hoping that my three big pot full season strains will not suffer this fate.

I have been meaning to write u and ask about the Pineapple Romulan... The two I have are doing very well... I am wondering if they are worthy of big pots for the full season... Do you think they will use up 200 gallons of soil, or are they more suited for smaller 100 gallon pots?

i have grown lots of romulan and romulan crosses over the yrs. indoors of course, i realize its different programs. i prefer the federation beans over next gen, they never did well for me. my romulans always grew big, thick and heavy for me. bigger than 80% of the stuff ive tried. always seem to go back to em, funny thing is i just scooped 2 new crosses to add. love em......

my buddy grabs my rom and rom crosses every yr, puts em outdoors with excellent results. the rom in the book of buds vol 1 reported this was a moderate producer. not sure why? every one i ever met rocked em big!! they like to be tipped to multiple branches early and will respond with vigorous growth later. the rom is always dominant in the crosses ive had exp with. its stabilized so much over the yrs, probably why. the pineapple grows very similar for me too. this should be a surprise in your garden! she will seem med sized early and then stretch large and fill out. my buddy would put his in the ground with minor work and pull 1lb of prime medicine. roms are very forgiving, making it one of b.c's premier outdoor strains. i would imagine you would do very well with the hundo smarty but if you like, going bigger never hurt. :artist:
hope this info helps ya somehow.

I'll get em from you when we see each other, Proiphet. Thanks. I just don't think I am going to get any seed into this year's OD run. But I'd love to have the beans for the future.
