Every ounce of ganja being grown and sold in California is potenmtially tough competition for every other ounce.
I should have ended the last post by saying I am not interested in pursuing the yes/no on 19 subject in this thread. I'll just say this, that claiming "competition" as a point of contention in a capitalist reality is a losing argument. There will be competition. Grow the best indoor herb in the Bay and you'll never have a problem with a vast supply of "inferior" outdoor from the north. I'm not saying outdoor is inferior to indoor, but most indoor growers in the Bay have been using this fallacy to market their herb for as long as I have been smoking it. It sure is pretty, though.
All I am saying is that if you choose to make a living by growing herb in a capitalist economy, I suggest you just grow it better and market it better than the next guy and you'll do just fine.
I will attempt to take the conversation back to its roots by welcoming new family to our garden.

I did get lost today trying to show somebody the monster Pineapple Cough in the center. But only for a minute.
Speaking of the Pineapple Cough: I hope they finish for me... they are just finishing their stretch. I saw this happen with a strain or two in other gardens last year. If I am wringing my hands over one thing, its that. Have I been whinging a lot about this topic? I probably have.

I tried to take some shots of how perfectly spaced some of the bigger planst are.... if I had used bigger pots or not dragged the pots out to wider spacing, i'd be fucked right now.you can, just barely on some, chop your hand upward between all the plants without causing any harm. None of the shots came out right, but i will keep trying.

You need a bigger backyard my freind!! I'm sure the pineapple cough will blow up soon. I got a few that are just starting to form right now too. Seems as though every year I'm stressing about a few not finishing and for the most part things work out.

Haxi: I don't like to prognosticate yields. From time to time I ask people visiting my garden what they think a plant will yield, but just for the giggles and the shits. I don't put much stock in it. And I try to limit my expectations of things when nature is involved. A friend just lost a HUGE plant, one of only 18 in his garden, to pathogens. We're not out of the woods yet.
I will be happy with 4 per and I'm pretty confident that no matter what happens, we'll hit that mark. It would be very satisfying to grow a single 8+ pounder, which would be pushing what people seem to think is possible in a 200 gallon container.

I dunno man...I think you're gonna get pretty close to that on at least 1 plant. Good thing you didn't use larger pots this year cause you already maxed out that space.

YG: like you said, I have already maxed out the space. The veg steeze over here is certainly dialed in. I will do a couple of things differently in veg next year, but not much. The one Pineapple Cough in the center of the garden may be the biggest yielder out there is the buds dense up nicely and she finishes in time. I still have my worries.
We lost a HUGE branch that accounted for about a quarter of the smallest Blue Dream with the worst sun out in the secret garden. Seems to have been from Fusarium. I am going to hit the whole crop again with MycoStop. I'd like to do it today, but unless I can find a local source for it... I am not going to have it till tuesday, at whatever time fedex gets here.
Anybody know, in a 2 hour radius from Lake county where I can walk in and walk out with Mycostop on a Saturday?
Its supposed to rain a little here tomorrow. Taste of Autumn... supposed to be warmer and dry again for the following 2 weeks. I hope so. An early autumn on top of the late spring we had would just suck, though I feel like it may be in the cards.
