Nomaad OD:2010

Nomaad, on my current black box crop I started with foliars of P seabird guano. Two applications by day 12 or so at 2T/gal..then Age Old Bloom every three days or so at 1oz/gal. Havn't brewed an AACT for these, but have applied compost extract once or twice thus far. Really really pleased at size and trichrome production for day 27.

I say experiment with guano foliars the first two weeks if you've never. Might be more affective than a topdress. Are you using Age Old Bloom or is Old Age something else??

Too late. I am two weeks in. I will probably just stick to the Age Old (I always transpose those words) Bloom and some Trinity for now. Thanks, bro.

Nice job on the light dep ! I put mine out in 15 gallon buckets in the begging of feb and they finish without the need for covering each day...

I did not get my shit together for the early season flowering this year. Perhaps next. Budporn all year!

none so far. i did not have any last year either. I did have a little rust early (used subtilis foliars to stop it) and a little botrytis toward the end on one strain. This year, I will be open-air by the beginning of August, so things should be easier. I am about to hit them with a final foliar of BTi for good measure...before they really start to nug out.

A couple of more strains are coming into their own out there in the boxes... should have more varied budporn by the end of the week.

Looking good playboy. Looks like your a good few weeks ahead of last year. That should make a few extra kilos at harvest time. Can't wait to start seeing more of the bud porn.

How hot does it get in your black box? Or how do you keep the temps down? I made one just a few days ago and my temps are running over 110 degree's a fan isn't helping I think I am going to hook my vortex up to suck the hot air out instead. But trying to figure out how to make it light proof everyday.

if my buddy comes through an re ups me on the PI x Bubba K I will have a spike crop of it which makes me a happy man because the PI/BK is one of my favorite smokes...Imagine the bomb threat with a floral incense note added and totally black...

Dankdude? Truth Hurts? Rasta Lions! Presidential Kush! I had an inclination who you were Trinity Gold, and this more or less sealed the deal...

I can honestly say nomaad is a fantastic grower, but even better person with a heart of gold. Thanks for the hospitality, I can say without a doubt that the pictures, being as beautiful as they are, do this grow no justice. You can litterally feel the love in the air, and the plants know it. Maticulously maintained, this was by far very impressive.

Until then my friend, grow on...

Fun cup. It was good hanging out with you all. GKG is a really great community.

Prophet: If I could vote for ANY hurb i smoked that day (and not limited to the samples in my judges bag), the Red Dragon we had with our coffee would be the winner- hands down. I thank you for the cut. She will be going outside soon. I have decided to do a wee headstash garden. The Red Dragon will be there beside those Coughs. What am I looking at in terms of finishing time outside?

The Afpaks are an early strain and they came out of a garden that had a lot of shade. I could see them being in the very very early stages of flowering. I looked at the ones you left behind and I can't be sure. if they are flowering here, i am not sure if I can tell. would transport stress push em over the edge rather than turn em around, which seems like what is going on with the ones that are still here. I think a shot of N and a lot of new dirt will do em right.

This is a decent shot of the Pineapple Cough in early flower. This is probably the strain I am most excited about in the black boxes. For one thing, I am very interested to see when it will finish so I will have a better Idea of what to expect in the fall with the PC's in 200's.

A sea of Sour D. Both of the pics in the post are from the same black box. 19 days in.

So... 24 hours after applying MycoStop and the slight droop I was able to appreciate in the Pineapple Cough is gone. This could easily be a response to many cycles of letting the plants dry out after their overwatering about 2 weeks ago. The PC is a challenging strain... its exciting and nerve-wracking to put so much stock (1800 gallons of dirt dedicated to this strain) into a cut I have never run... but it comes highly recommended by a real pro (who ran it against my Blue Dream cut, which "kept up with" the PC in his experience) and I am pleased to be growing something descended from the NL5xHaze that is so dear to me... it is supposed to take after her mom and if this is the case, she will be worth the challenges involved in growing her.

The Blue Dream only took 5-6 days to bounce back from the overwatering... The PC is just now fully out of the woods and it may have taken a dose of MycoStop vs possible soil borne pathogens to help her through... I wil definitely be getting a very powerful microscope by next season.

By the way... I was just gifted a bag of CaliColi's Blue Dream by the ladies at GKG and I'm reminded of just how much I love the strain... especially when its fresh. Super dank specimen, compañero. Especially good in the after-aroma department but also a top notch high. Nice to have some freshies around.

Is there a risk of MycoStop killing off mycorrhizae in the plants' root zones? It almost sounds like it was designed to do that.

On a side note, it's overwhelming (but nice) to come back from tending different small stealth gardens in various places to see the oceans of fan leaves and buds that some of you guys grow out in the open. Wow.
