before we learn how to live longer as a species we need to learn to love one another and not kill each other which we all contribute to.every american buys products everyday that will destroy someone or many peoples lives in another country.when we can learn to love and not kill, that is when we will figure out death.our culture is obsessed with death.its on every tv show.people are all about the zombie shit and much more.we celebrate death as a culture were disturbed humans

I like how you make your own titles Retro

Glad you like it! Hope it doesn't confront one of your superstitions!

If science discovers a creation mechanism behind our universe than google is simply manifesting that energy within the abstract of time

There is no such thing as "creation", except in the minds of the superstitious and delusional.

http://time.com/3723667/human-head-transplant/

The world's first attempt to transplant a human head will be launched this year at a surgical conference in the US. The move is a call to arms to get interested parties together to work towards the surgery.
The idea was first proposed in 2013 by Sergio Canavero of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group in Italy. He wants to use the surgery to extend the lives of people whose muscles and nerves have degenerated or whose organs are riddled with cancer. Now he claims the major hurdles, such as fusing the spinal cord and preventing the body's immune system from rejecting the head, are surmountable, and the surgery could be ready as early as 2017....

That has been done years ago you remember the Bobbit case lol oh wrong head lol

you know what would be funny is if god made the big bang happen and let evolution do the rest.how far outta the realm could that theory be?if he caused the big bang then he contributed to creation?

Speak for yourself. I have never killed anyone, nor do I contribute to the environmental and economic destruction that takes many lives. I am an environmentalist, and I discovered through my research and travels that the most destructive single thing, aside from overpopulation, is cattle ranching. The minute I realized the implications of the destruction caused by the production of burgers and steaks, I quit red meat altogether. That was 25 years ago, and haven't had a burger since. Feeding over one billion head of cattle means the production of enormous amounts of food grain. The destruction of growing all this grain is enormous. Mountains of fertilizers and pesticides are required, which then end up in our rivers, and then into the ocean. Growing grain to "create" more cattle is a tremendous waste of resources, wasting 90% of the biomass. This contributes to the starvation of millions who are at the bottom of the food pyramid. So, if you eat cattle you are killing people, quite literally.

picture.php

In addition, I don't buy any products made by Apple corporation, world's largest and most profitable company, as they use slave labor and exploit people to the point where they commit suicide in large numbers. Sure, other company's are exploitative, big pharma being among them, along with big oil, and many others. I try not to support them.

In addition, being a creationist Christian, you are a member of the group who has fought tooth and nail against stem cell research, our single biggest hope to find cures for cancer and most other "incurable" diseases, because stem cell research conflicts with your biblical superstitious belief systems. Religion historically has been an opponent of science, and still is today. Creationists and "radical" Muslims are the biggest offenders in this regard. I haven't even touched on religious wars, which amazingly, are still being played out on our television screens daily. Countless hundreds of millions slaughtered in the name of god.
So maybe you need to look to yourself when talking about contributing to deaths around the world. My conscience is clear. I do my part, small as it may be, and I don't contribute to the problem. Still, I know that you and others are not going to give up their steaks and burgers simply because it destroys our environment, and kills people. It's cognitive dissonance. No one would ever die of starvation if we fed the grain to them instead of cattle.

Except that "he" doesn't exist, and there is no such thing as creation.

RETRO my family is in cattle ranching lol fuck all i can do about that,,, its money and good money and you are correct its a big cause but there are many more causing i think even more destruction, and pollution mining industry , and lumber if you were to really look at pollution when i was at processing plant while ago mind you these people supply to the BIG MacDonald chain i nearly shit at the amount of meat processed i think the guy told me just under a million pounds a day
when looking at steel mills lumber mills polluting water supply specially lumber business clearing shit load of forest in which 02 and c02 is used and made this also adds up to in time less trees consuming c02 less water up take from under the ground creating massive mud slides creating more issues etc list can go on and on we are all responsible how about us growers many drain to waste again contributing to water pollution sure you here well when i flush i pour it out side onto my other plants
But many grow in the winter and instead of making a skating ring its much easier draining down the toilet were all guilty of that
Not like honey come over here look at the neighbor its like his tenth 5 gallon pail i seen him come out of the house with and pour it out out back of his house ?? maybe i should go over there and ask him if he had a flood and needs help hahaha

Hey retrogrow, is it not more precise to say that you dont believe god exists than that there is no god ?

Because it is a belief right ?

From what i understand, you are talking in absolute, but how can you be 100% sure that god does not exist, but when i say god, i mean also some kind of higher power, one which might judge your soul/actions.

There are thousands of gods. They just aren't real.
Bigfoot doesn't exist either, but I can't prove it. The burden of proof is on the believer. Aside from the fact that the notion of an invisible, all powerful creature is absurd, there isn't even a shred of evidence supporting this superstition. Some people believe in ghosts. I don't. Again, the burden of proof is on the believer. Same goes for angels, leprechauns, etc. I do, however, believe in "alien" life forms, meaning life forms from other solar systems/galaxies. It's statistically impossible that we are alone. These life forms undoubtedly possess higher powers. After all, it is said that we only use 10% of our brains. Perhaps the "aliens" have unlocked the other 90%, and perhaps, someday, we will evolve further to a point where we can unlock our brainpower. Science is skepticism. It requires proof. Most people find it easy to dismiss the other 9,999 gods. Some of us just take it one god further.

Well, what can I say? You and yours are going to burn in hell for eternity for your crimes...
But seriously, if you do some research, nothing comes close to the damage caused by cattle ranching. Rainforests are being clear cut to grow more soybeans to feed cattle. Our oceans are being polluted by the runoff from pesticides and fertilizers used to grow all the grain used to feed these cattle. 90% waste of the biomass. Transporting all the cattle, grain, and pesticides, fertilizers create enormous pollution. Indigenous peoples are being forced from their lands by cattle producers. The battle lines have been drawn near the Brazilian rain forests. People who go against big cattle are being killed. Half the water in the western U.S. is used for cattle and the crops they consume, despite the water shortage. It's an unsustainable industry. These creatures could not survive in nature on their own. 50,000 people per day are starving because cattle are consuming the grain that could sustain them. Do a Google search on "the environmental effects of cattle ranching", and it will be right there in front of you. Within a year, science says we will be able to 3D print human livers. Same for steaks & burgers, kind of like Star Trek's food replicators. Push a button, and out pops a triple decker burger, without the vast destruction. We need the rain forests. They produce the oxygen we need to breathe. Destroying them is not an option. They also hold most of the life forms on earth, many as yet undiscovered. They could provide the secrets to many cures.
If I had the knowledge to create a pathogen that would kill all the world's cattle, I would not hesitate to use it. Hopefully there are geneticists who are working on this.

Ok i agree with you, burden of proof is on the believer

For we believe in what we see

That leaves more mystery for you i imagine

For me, in believing in some kind of order/higher power, it brings me comfort, and my faith has been made stronger through experiences

Ive had some experiences that make me believe that there is order in the universe

I have a hard time believing we are meaningless, came from nothing
I believe we are marvels of science

Sentiant beings

I believe that something so beautiful needed some time and effort to be designed

Maybe there is no creator out there, maybe we are the creator ourselves. Its fun just to think about.

My life feels holy to me, even though i am sometimes unmotivated, ungrateful etc.
