the quality and price of 'haze' in nyc definitely fluctuates heavily depending on who you are, where you are, and who you're getting it from.. the best deals i have seen come from long-time dealers who work in networks, usually in the outer boroughs (bk, queens).. one group of people ive been going to for years has the best haze ive seen in the city for 400 an ounce, beatiful dark mature sativa spears that reeeek of haze.... but i know they sell the same exact shit to people in midtown for up to 700 an ounce

Beasters is Canadian weed that is usually taken too early, has no cure to it smells like hay, tastes bad, and is wet. Usually ahs a bad high.
The different is it looks alot better than mids because it hasn't been bricked, so people pay much higher prices for wee that doesn't get you as high (as mids).

I am glad I started growing my own 6 years ago, and have not bought a bag since.
just got from a friend 2 strawberry diesel clones, and some Abog(a11xbogbubble)
some g13xburmese and an afghani in the mom room.
If i did sell (witch I don't)
I could make a killing but that would never happen.
And btw I am very close to the 1 of the three bridges that come in to S.I.
(PS, not including the VZ bridge)

Nice thread Philly has great Ak-47, Jack Herer, Sour Diesel $425 have to know people; the blocks have haze usually Dominicans in N Philly as with Uptown Harlem/Washington Heights $500 a oz off the block if you know people $1800 qp $3200 half $6100 whole and I dont mean some blaze or sorta haze I mean the Pif, You have to go to Washington Heights/Harlem to score official, Beasters are everywhere but who wants it? Most fake haze is not chemically altered just that Novinces try to grow a complicated strain and have to recoup $ from the grow or need $ so they put it out to the Masses incomplete; and people say well it is sorta like haze because it is just a F$#$ up batch that shouldnt even have been given away, most people that are not Haze heads run into these fake Hazes Usually from the Triads or Bogus Growers remember you are not judging a strain just the grower; People think that Midtown/Village prices are absurd $700 an oz for Presidential but has anyone that has dealt with a delivery service think so? to each his own but there are some times where a product should be $350 an Oz but if you have an Oz in front of you of some Grade A Bubba or OG kush or Purple Urkel that you know you cant or will not grow ever or for a while is it worth it? I view it as Karma no one should be raped but there are special occasions and after that first bong hit You would say It will come back to me next harvest plus I like to judge what I Grow versus what is so called the best in the streets it keeps understanding going with yourself either you say "I am much better than whats out here" Or you say "shit I have ALOT of work to do" Me personally I love growing and pushing myself to be better but I am allways reaching for smoking regional presidential

Cool thread I grew up in the area both philly and south jersey. Haven't been back in 15 years or so. Entertaining read. I remember as a youngster smoking on dirt bud that came around. Also I remember lil nickel bags that people would pickup in Camden on the blocks. Everything was schwag though I never saw good bud till I moved out to the sf bay area. I'm sure it was around, but hard for a youngster with no connects like I was to find. This was back in the early 90's.
Have to say I'm very happy I moved to California. Can't imagine medical marijuana happening anytime soon over there in NJ.
I mean there are $320 Ozs of Bubblehash to be had from street dealers out here. Bud has to be killer to go for $350 to people I know. Most won't pay more than $300 for top grade.

Very True Med User Camden has some good haze blocks now a days and the schwag is called Arizona mid still schwag though, not to diss just asking I am fortunate enough to sample herb from all over; a few friends of mine on separate occasions have came home with some samples from Bay Area Med Clinics usually $325-$400 oz of Grandaddy Purp and Grape Ape and I trully was not impressed decent flavor and smell but weak daytime high Not comparable with Local Sour Diesel, Haze, Jack Herer, C99, Kali Mist So I am wondering does the potency change in those med strains? I often have Purple Urple/Urkel from Humboldt that comes through Atlanta often and that is Grade A level 10 in Philly or NY the True Hazes battle anything You need to come back to the area you may be surprised
